Sora Takenada vs. Deathbird Empty Sora Takenada vs. Deathbird

Standard Match decided by Pin, KO, or Submission

In her locker room, the first wrestler soon to enter would strap her attire in for she wanted to get back into action. "It's time to crush the new girl! I'll give her a reality check and make sure the hospital bed is ready!"

As soon as the audience was comfortable in waiting for the match to start, a loud sound like an eagle shrieking filled the entire stadium and the crowd was terrified. Then, an explosion of black smoke came from 5 feet close to the ring. Once it was clear, Paramore's "Misery Business" began to play and there stood a girl with dark purple and black hair. Her clothing consisted of a dark shining purple sleeveless zippered suit with the collars covering the bottom of her face, long black fingerless gloves, and black army boots.

As she was walking along, she noticed that the men were all looking at her in awe of her beauty. She responded by giving an innocent look in her eyes and a seductive kiss to make them swoon and fall before her. Inside though, she is a sadistic, bad-tempered, and revengeful woman who would do anything to get what she wants, even if it means getting the men out of the way. She then jumped and kept her balance on the top rope before doing a double axle flip into the ring and gave out a loud screech that can reach 3 feet at the audience.

In the end, her red eyes glowed as she smiled evily.

Sora Takenada vs. Deathbird Empty Re: Sora Takenada vs. Deathbird

Post by BCG Fri Aug 23, 2013 9:23 am

A short statured young lady with dyed sea green hair, sat in a folding chair in the back, waiting for her cue to go out to the ring. She was fully dressed in her ring attire, which consisted of MMA style gloves, trunks, soft knee pads, strap-on footwraps, and a top. She had stretched, she had warmed up, and she had even done a little research on the opponent she'd be fighting. Yet in spite of all this, Sora didn't feel prepared. She'd never be prepared for this nonsense. The AFW was a cesspool in her eyes, of bullying and depravity, and her opponent Deathbird seemed to be no exception. The woman had a reputation for being cruel and sadistic in and outside of the ring, and the worst of it was that kind of behavior seemed to be awarded in this federation. It was a sick, backwards place Sora had found herself in, and she would have given anything not to be there having to compete for the enjoyment of people who were into this kind of filth. Well... almost anything. She certainly wasn't willing to go to prison, which was exactly what would happen to her if she refused to wrestle. And so when her music hit, Sora Takenada got up with a childish huff, and trudged her feet out to the stage.

Sora really didn't understand the need for all this fanfare. It seemed like showboating to her, which was why she had refused to choose an entrance song for herself. So as a result the company just went ahead and chose a random, generic theme for her. Well... whatever. It wasn't like she cared either way. Sora dragged her feet out onto the stage as her music played, and didn't stop to look at the crowd, or pose, or anything to get people excited to see her. She just grumpily shuffled straight to the ring, hanging her thumbs along the sides of her trunks. Because of her lackluster attitude, the crowd of course reacted to her with indifference and even a few boo's at how boring she was. Of course it wasn't like she had much to work with. Sora had only been in one match so far in Friction. It was in the Kawaii division where she had broken another Kawaii's arm, something she still felt bad about. Maybe she could have played off that and acted like some kind of tough gal, if she gave a damn what the crowd thought. But she didn't. And she certainly didn't want to build a repution off of injuring girls who were weaker than her.

The young rookie marched up the steps at ringside and onto the ring apron. With another heavy sigh, she bent over and entered the ring through the middle and bottom rope. She walked out into the center of the ring and stopped there, where she just stared at her opponent uncertainly as her music faded. Deathbird didn't look quite as bad as her reputation painted her to be. Sora couldn't help, but wonder if she was really all that bad. Maybe she wasn't! Maybe they could actually have a fun, respectul match with one another. "Uh, hi..." she uttered cautiously, offering a nervous yet hopeful smile. "My name's Sora. What do you say we make this a good fight?"

Sora Takenada vs. Deathbird Empty Re: Sora Takenada vs. Deathbird

Post by Dynamo44 Fri Aug 23, 2013 10:07 pm

Deathbird would rest at her corner as she watched Sora make her entrance. She would see that she had the physique of a fighter though there wasn't much going on from there.

As soon as Sora entered the ring, Deathbird should show some respect first before the match begins. She would smile as she said, "I am very happy to meet you, Sora. I'm Deathbird. I take it you're new here to AFW and I bid you welcome. Let us have a good match, but keep in mind that I can get rough."

Sora Takenada vs. Deathbird Empty Re: Sora Takenada vs. Deathbird

Deathbird's friendly demeanor was so unexpected, that Sora didn't even have the sense to suspect it might have been a ruse. The idea that she might actually have a friendly match with someone, was just too nice a notion for her to be skeptical. If it was a rough, intense match, then so be it. Just as long her opponent displayed good sportsmanship, it was all fine with Sora. "Y-yeah, that's right!" she replied back with a bright grin. "This is my second match! My first was uh... w-well that doesn't matter. I'm not surprised you're a tough competitor with a name like 'Deathbird' though!" she chuckled. "But don't worry, I can keep up!"

"Your second match you say? Well, I suppose we can consider this another step for experience." Deathbird would head to her corner to start stretching out for the match. She had to be sure she was flexible to take this girl down. She was intrigued that this could be another interesting matchup, so she had to be on her guard.

Sora Takenada vs. Deathbird Empty Re: Sora Takenada vs. Deathbird

"...Sure. Thanks!" Sora replied with a respectful nod. She was hesitant to show too much enthusiasm about the match or being here in the AFW, but at the same time she didn't want to seem ungrateful or disrespectful to Deathbird, considering how friendly she was being. Sora was thoroughly convinced at this point that at least least this match wouldn't be so bad. It would just be a fair, straight fight between too competitive but friendly opponents. ...Or so she thought.

Sora backed up into her own corner of the ring and waited for the bell to ring. As she waited, she pondered over just how Deathbird could have earned such a nasty reputation for herself, considering how nice she seemed. Maybe she was just really tough in the ring, and some people were too sensitive? That seemed like a reasonable conclusion to Sora, and for the time being it satisfied her.

The bell rang. Sora took a steady breath to prepare herself and moved out towards the center of the ring to lock up with her opponent.

When the bell rang, Deathbird immediately would move towards the center of the ring to meet with Sora. She would lock up with her and said, "Are you ready, Sora? Prepare yourself." Then she would try to push as much as she can against Sora.

Sora Takenada vs. Deathbird Empty Re: Sora Takenada vs. Deathbird

As Sora locked up with Deathbird, she found herself immediately overwhelmed by the other woman's leverage. Deathbird had both a small strength and big height advantage over her, not to mention more experience with wrestling holds in general. Sora found herself stumbling back, bit by bit, step after step. Deathbird's words encouraged her to some degree, but Sora ultimately just didn't have the drive to overcome the disadvantage she was at. In no time Deathbird had her backed up into the corner, and the referee began the five count for Deathbird for to let go.

Deathbird didn't need to be told twice about backing her opponent against the post, so she let Sora go. "Now, let's do this!" Deathbird exclaimed as she attempted to ram into Sora to make her crash into the turnbuckle. If this worked, she would give a couple punches to the face before another ramming in the stomach.

Sora Takenada vs. Deathbird Empty Re: Sora Takenada vs. Deathbird

Just when Sora thought she had been given a breather, Deathbird was suddenly on her again, crushing her into the turnbuckles and wailing on her with blows to the face and gut. The young rookie was immediately dazed and winded, and she dropped to her knees in front of Deathbird, clutching her nose and stomach. She leaned against Deathbird's leg, trying to get her bearings.
