Haruka Tenou vs Kyo Akamatsu

For a while, Kyo felt Haruka struggling weakly underneath him, pulling them both closer and closer to the ropes. He locked the hold in tighter, but that didn't stop Haruka. She kept pulling them both towards the edge of the ring, just as determined to escape as he had been a few moments ago.

Before long, they were nearing the ropes. Kyo could have prevented Haruka from getting there by digging his knees into the mat and pulling, by exerting his efforts to keep Haruka in place. But whether out of respect, or out of a desire to continue this match, he did nothing to stop her. Instead, he merely held onto the crossface, squeezing her tighter and tighter before her hands latched onto the rope. The ref tapped his shoulder telling him to break, and he rolled off of Haruka, standing up and giving her a few seconds to recover.

Haruka lay on the mat whimpering, not even having the strength to nurse her head or neck. She simply lay there in a pool of her own sweat, unresponsive. If Kyo wanted to take advantage he probably could.

Seeing that Haruka wasn't moving, Kyo took a deep breath as he stepped towards her. Grabbing her arm, he moved to pull the girl to her feet, seeing that she was clearly on her last legs. He wanted to finish this as relatively quickly and painfully as possible.

Once he pulled Haruka to her feet, he would slide one arm around her thigh and another around her shoulder, before bracing his legs and lifting Haruka up sideways, holding her upight wither her bare midsection against his head. Turning, he would drop down and slam her back-first into the mat in a cross-body slam.

Haruka was lifted like dead weight and Kyo would be able to hoist her above his head. The spent tomboyish fighter was then slammed down into the mat with authority ajnd it seemed she was ready to be finished off.

Kyo was feeling the weight of exhaustion bearing down on him as well as he draped his body across Haruka's, his head resting just below her chest as he covered her for the pin. He let out a long, tired breath as the referee came rushing over to begin the countdown.

As the referee counted one, one of haruka's legs striied, the knee rising a bit, was she about to use that leg to kick out?

Kyo held his breath, seeing Haruka's eyes rise a bit. Could she still have some fight left in her? Kyo tensed, watching and waiting as he continued to keep Haruka covered for the pin.

"Two," the ref counted, slapping the mat again.

Not hooking the leg this time might have been a mistake and Haruka would be able to use the leg she moved to kick with enough force to stop the count.

Haruka's body pushed up against Kyo sharply as Haruka kicked out. He leaned up off of the tomboy, wiping the sweat from his face. By this point, he wasn't surprised that Haruka had managed to kick out. Part of him was even a little glad, as he was actually enjoying this match.

Grabbing onto Haruka's arm, Kyo would roll Haruka onto her side, sliding one hand under her chin and using his other hand to grab at her knee. Holding his breath, as he knew how painful this hold was going to be Kyo leaned back, pressing a knee against Haruka's back as he bent her in a bow and arrow hold.

It seems the near misses were enough to goad Haruka into some sort of action now and as Kyo put his hands on her to try and turn her on her side, Haruka's hands shot up to try and grab his head. If she did, she would shoot her knee up to try and crack his skull.
