Jean Grey vs Yatori - Wrestling match (archived)

As Yatori started to lock in the reverse knee lock, Jean's hand would manage to grab the nearby lower rope. Fear and desperation seemed to painted on her face.

She realized if the hold had been locked on she might very have been forced to tap out. In case Yatori didn't elt go right away jean would be screaming for the ref to get her off.

"I keep forgetting that," Yatori commented as she released Jean's leg. She backed away from Jean, wondering what her opponent would do next.

Jean Grey again struggled to stand up using the ropes ut she limped badly on her hurt leg.

Jean looked quite beat up in Yatori's opinion. Leery of inflicting a serious injury, the Mafiosi asked "Can you still fight?" just loudly enough for only Jean to hear.

Jean did not respend to Yatori. She now limped to the cneter of the ring and the referee came up to her asking if she could go on. They seemed to be exchanging words out of earshot of Yatori.

Grimacing at her good intentions being ignored, Yatori waited, hands on hips, for the outcome of the ongoing argument.

Jean and the ref stopped arguiing and the ref gestured for them to continue. Jean still seemed to be distracted by ehr hurt leg and amssaged the abck of her thigh as she tried to put some distance between her and Yatori.

Yatori decided the best way she could help Jean was to end the match. That meant putting the redhead down in the middle of the ring, away from the ropes.

She advanced on Jean, legs taking long strides, planning to lock up and then drag Jean to her chosen spot. Her opponent had a bum leg and was getting predictable. So long as she was careful, Yatori couldn't possibly lose.

Was Jean feigning some of her injury? Was it instinct or dumb luck? As Yatori closed in, Jean would suddenly whip around, using her good leg for balance as shot her other for up in a quick, brutal Shawn Michaels like chin music kick for Yatori's face that would threaten to kncok most good wrestlers out of their shoes.

Yatori expected a strike. She didn't expect an all-or-nothing super kick coming from Jean's bad leg.

She stumbled backwards before toppling onto her back, solidly stunned. "Uhhhh..."
