Jean Grey vs Yatori - Wrestling match (archived)

Jean still lay there outside the ring cradling her hurt leg. If she heard Yatori she offered no response.

Puzzled but also wary of a sneak attack, Yatori walked over to the edge of the ring to peer at Jean. She grimaced at seeing her opponent down for what was apparently the count from the submission she'd just escaped. "Uh, oh..."

"One!" the referee called out, starting the ten-count. "Two!"

Jean slowly began to recover and stand up as the referee counted her out. She hopped a bit on her stricken leg using the edge of the ring as support. By the time the referee reached eight, Jean slid back in the ring at a corner away from Yatori and opposite the ref.

Jean used the ropes and corner to stand up and seemed to be working her way along the ropes for support, her back turned to Yatori as she tried to walk off the pain.

The rightly-concerned Yatori remained at her corner of the ring. She knew Momoko had accidentally injured her opponent during her debut match, but she hadn't thought she would commit the same mistake.

Ugh...

So she waited for Jean to recover, if the redhead could, leaning against her corner of the ring while watching Jean hop about the mat. Yatori needed the break, frankly. Jean hit hard.

Jean walked around a bit more rubbing the abck of her leg. When the fire in her tendons started to subside she turned to face Yatori. She looked tired but her face stiffened and she gestured peremptorily at Yaotir to come at her and moved forward as if to lock up.

The somewhat refreshed Yatori nodded. She did go with caution, reminded all too well of Jean's skill at striking, waiting for the blow that had to come out of nowhere.

Jean would seem to go lock up but Yatori's instincts would prove true. jean would suddenly try to kick out at Yatori using her injured leg aimed for the gut.

Grunting as it hit her, Yatori trapped the offending leg between her arms and side. She then yanked on Jean to try and dump the redhead on her back.

Yatori planned to follow up by dropping onto Jean's free leg to pin it while hooking the leg she captured over her shoulders, only to pull down on thigh and ankle to stress the knee.

Jean was off balance as Yaotir caught her leg. She cursed inwardly as she realized her mistake and then was brought to the ground and put in Yatori's leglock. Jean cried out again as Yatori went back to work on her leg.

Again the referee asked for jean's submission.

"No!! ....No!...."

She was now in so much pain that she would reach up to grab at yatori's hair but the referee would quickly brush her off. Jean collapsed back and again almost ran the risk of suffering a pinfall as her shoulders lay flat and the ref started counting.

Jean screamed in pain and frustration. Then she would reach up and back a bit to try and snare her arm around the front of Yatori's neck to try and pull her off.

Yatori winced as Jean made to grab her hair. Fortunately there wasn't much to grab, her hair being short, not to mention the referee intervened. Ugh...

Busy holding Jean's leg in place for punishment, she couldn't effectively resist Jean's pull on her. So she went with the general flow and made to roll Jean onto the redhead's front, away from Yatori, the Mafiosi dumping the leg off her shoulders- only to try and go for a cross kneelock, still attacking that same leg.
