Hitomi Fujishima vs Cassie Elliot

"AH! Ow! Owwww!"

Cassie screamed. Her left eye closed and she cupped one hand against it. It immediately began pouring tears. She panicked a little, she'd never had someone do something like that in a fight, and she let go and stood up. She backed up all the way to the ropes. Both eyes were watering, partly because it hurt and partly because of the betrayal she had felt from Hitomi. She thought they were having a friendly match. She thought Hitomi was friendly. She was wrong. She sniffled.

"Why would you DO that? That's SO unfair!" Cassie screamed at Hitomi with a hurt, plaintiff wail. She smoothed her bangs down out of her eyes. She stamped her feet fitfully. "It is so on now!"

Hitomi felt pretty bad after doing that, but at least it managed to get Cassie off of her. Plus it was the only time this match that she managed to really hurt her opponent. Still, Hitomi knew that it was an unfair move, and the dishonor it brought made her feel quite guilty.

"Sorry," Hitomi said softly. After Cassie backed off, she would try to slowly get up, though the pain in her neck and back made her wince quite a bit, slowing her down. She managed to stand up though, and assume a fighting stance, through from the obvious expression of pain on her face she really wasn't in much of a shape to continue fighting. She wasn't giving up though, she was too stubborn for that.

Cassie's eyebrow twitched. Good, Hitomi was back up. She was going to teach her a lesson about cheating. If she thought her neck hurt now... Cassie wiped at her eyes to clear them. She didn't need to see Hitomi clearly to beat her up.

A couple quick, angry steps brought Cassie in range of Hitomi. She set up in her stance for a moment, then shot forward in the same way as she would to go for a takedown. This time, as she got close to Hitomi, she lifted up and swung her right arm out to catch Hitomi's throat in a rough clothesline.

Hitomi held her ground as Cassie charged at her, but before Cassie could land her clothesline, Hitomi ducked underneath. She had enough wrestling experience to know what kind of attack was coming at her, and this one was plainly obvious. Hitomi would then dash at the opposite ropes, turning and bouncing off of them to change her momentum, before coming back with a dropkick at Cassie's face!

Cassie was a little alarmed when Hitomi's head isn't where she wanted it to be.Her momentum carried her to the ropes. She turned and took of them on her back, rebounding off just in time to see Hitomi in a full sprint back at her. She threw up her arms in a hasty defense as Hitomi's weird shoes slammed into her face. The impact took her off her feet and the next thing she knew she was staring up at the lights. Ow.

Maybe Hitomi wasn't as hurt as she thought. Or maybe she really was that tough. It was weird... she didn't look that tough. Still, there she was, on her back, tears streaking from one eye and with throbbing pain in her head. It took her a moment to get her wits about her but she was quickly back on her feet with a smooth kip up. She wasn't at all happy about the turn the match had just taken, but at least it was a fight... that was still exciting. Even if it was against a cheater.

She backed up a couple quick steps to make sure she had room to react if Hitomi came at her again. Plus she could use the extra time to clear her head. It wasn't just the impact that had rattled her, it was also her first time getting dropkicked at full contact.

Hitomi was up before Cassie was, mainly due to how she didn't just take a full-powered dropkick to the face. Still, Cassie was standing rather quickly. As the girl backed up a few steps, Hitomi quickly advanced. She wasn't going to let Cassie get any breathing time. Cassie didn't look as if she could take many big hits, so Hitomi decided to rattle her up a bit more before trying another attack. She would try and get inside Cassie's guard and throw a palm-strike at her chin, hoping to rattle her and keep her disoriented.

"Ungh!"

Cassie's head pushed straight back and her knees buckled. She hadn't recovered quickly enough, and Hitomi stayed right with her as she retreated. She was really starting to feel like an idiot. She didn't want to be made a fool of, not in her first match at least. She had to get her head together and bring Hitomi back into her world.

Granted, she wasn't in the best position to do so. As she dropped to her knees, her head swimming, she scrambled to grab onto Hitomi's legs, if not to bring her down then just to hold onto her and keep her from loading up some other horrible offense for her. She was stronger, and maybe tougher, but that was it. Cassie knew she was a better fighter. She wasn't going to let her family down. At least, she hoped not.

Hitomi saw that her blows were doing their job, both disorienting and hurting Cassie quite a bit while also destroying the girl's pacing, bringing her closer under Hitomi's control. Even though Cassie ducked low and grabbed Hitomi's legs, Hitomi stood her ground, refusing to just be driven over. She was stronger than this girl, and she planned to use every bit of that strength to defeat her!

Hitomi clenched her hands together, before driving them downwards to strike at the crown of Cassie's head with an axe-handle strike. Should that blow succeed in stunning Cassie and making her let go, Hitomi would drive a knee into Cassie's chin to hurt her some more and send her down onto the mat!

Hitomi was just brawling Cassie at this point. More importantly, she was out-brawling her. Cassie felt like a fish out of water. She wasn't thinking quite so clearly, and she did what all grapplers do when disoriented: she went low and looked for a body part to wrap up.

As Hitomi clubbed Cassie over the back she fell to her knees and elbows. She was close enough to the ground then that when Hitomi's knee came up she was able avoid the business end of it and entangled herself in Hitomi's legs. She pushed off in an unbalanced, partially disoriented attempt to trip up Hitomi while she only had one leg on the ground by wrapping her arms around her leg and throwing her weight into her.

After bashing Cassie down onto the mat, Hitomi thought she had Cassie beaten. But then suddenly the girl managed to dodge her knee and grab onto her leg! "Hey! Let go!" Hitomi gasped, but then Cassie pushed forward, and sent Hitomi tumbling backwards! "Ack!" Hitomi gasped. Now she was on the mat again, and Cassie still had her leg in her grasp.

Hitomi knew she had to break out quickly, before Cassie could grapple with her again. She needed the girl disoriented. So Hitomi balled her hands into fists, and aimed two punches at the top of Cassie's head.
