Re: That rascally little scamp!
On hearing Faye talk about where she came from, and scooting on her butt closer, Garzah realized Faye has not blinked this whole time since she had realized she was there. And it was kinda creepy, how her eyelids did not blink at the same time.
Then Faye started asking about the topography...and Garzahs eyes widened in surprise. Because Faye was absolutely on the money about Gorgoths appearance (at least the region she was from).
"I..I ..how did you...huh, do I really make it look that obvious where I came from?" Garzah looked down at herself, even folding her poofy sleeves up to take a proper look at her muscular arms.
"I suppose I AM as thick as a rock..about as dense as one, too...." Garzah said with a frumpy look, knowing very well she wasn't the brightest tool in the shed.

Faye giggled at Garzah's wide-eyed expression. She liked it when the people-things made funny faces. While there was much she did not know, she had eyes and observed with them much. The orc wore much of who she was by the way she carried herself and by the features she had. The spiritly creature masquerading as an orc simply assumed with the knowledge they had of Gaia and presented it. It had been Garzah who all but confirmed her probing questions.
When Garzah looked back across to the small orc after examining herself, they wouldn’t find them anywhere. Instead, a small feminine creature sat crosslegged with its hands in its lap. Bright peachish skin framed with iridescent scales and limbs that went from looking almost like a normal human into a mix of mossy flesh and scales ending in pointed claws. It was Faye, at least, it was how Faye liked herself to be. A long reptilian tail swaying slowly behind her like a charmed snake.
“Strong like the rock, but not a rock.” Faye nodded a few times. She knew many rocks, and spoke to them, as impressive as Garzah might have been she had no doubt her rock friends would be upset if she compared them to a people-thing. They were notoriously stubborn and liked to think they were all quite unique, knicks, clips, and all. “It likes your covers. Can it have them?” Her tail, flicked from behind her to coil around her, the thin almost pointed tip curling beneath the hem of Garzah’s dress to give it a flick.

Re: That rascally little scamp!
On looking up, and seeing Faye reveal her "true"(??) self, Garzah jolted, not at all expecting that. The change to a whole new form, though the eyes not having changed, was not what she had been anticipating. As she settled, she started to take in Faye's odd appearance. Her skin looked almost reptilian, but somewhat....too...not really reptilian. That color too, she almost swore it was normal skin. The combined look of the odd placed colored scales, the hair, and her new "skin" made Faye just look....different.
One thing that Faye kept saying that Garzah couldn't help but notice....
"Ah, I'm glad...it likes my covers. Though....Say, you keep talking about...'it'. Who is it?"

Re: That rascally little scamp!
While it was probably impossible to know what was on Faye’s mind, she wore her emotions visibly in her expressions. Her brow furrowed and nose wrinkled cutely at the inquiry, so bafflingly obvious to her what the answer was that she couldn’t fathom everyone didn't know it innately. “It is Faye. Faye is it. Does the silly Gar-Zah Orc not know things?” Her tail swished through the air, raising to prod Gazah in the chest with the tip as if someone might have tapped her with a finger.
“Gar-Zah Orc knows the old songs but doesn't know Faye is Faye, pfffft!" She let out a boisterous laugh, plopping back on the ground is a fit of giggling almost exactly like the one Garzah had displayed earlier, just notably more exaggerated. She would stop suddenly and lift her head, peering over her chest at the orc. “Why is Gar-Zah Orc here among the flowers, has this one forsaken the rocks? They will be most upset if you forget them.”

Re: That rascally little scamp!
On hearing the explanation, Garzahs mouth popped into a "o" as she realized Faye was one of those types of talkers. She lightly tapped her own head, muttering, "Gaah, of course....", Wondering why she hadn't thought of that earlier. Seeing Faye have a good laugh about it, on the other hand, was quite cute. Darn little rascal was quite expressive with those big eyes.
When she shot up to ask about why was she here, Garzah then realized suddenly explaining her current job and her being on break to Faye was....going to be a bit difficult. Lightly lifting a hand, she explained:
"Aah so uh, well see, I didn't "forsake" home or anything, I do go home time to time, I'm sure the rocks won't be upset. I just came here to Tsubar for a...duty, you could say. Nothing special, I just came here to entertain people by fighting other fighters. I'm currently taking a rest." With that she flashed a toothy smile.
That was the simplest, best way she could put it, she figured.

Re: That rascally little scamp!
Faye had remained on the ground, rolling herself over and then twisting her body to curl up much like a lounging cat. She stretched her arms and tail out with a small yawn. She folded her arms in front of her after, dropping her chin to rest upon it while her thick tail curled around her body almost like a backrest to lean into. “Rocks can be very stubborn” She cautioned, knowing all too well. Many of the larger rocks she spoke to still were upset she had left claw marks on them many seasons past.
As Garzah grinned, so too did Faye, displaying a long row of pointed teeth, the edges of her lips expanding further than they should to make her dangerous-looking maw look far larger than it had moments ago. When she spoke however it seemed to shrink back to how it looked before, naturally fitting her dainty features. “Gar-Zah Orc should entertain Faye. It likes to be amused. Amuse it.” She stared unblinkingly at the orc with her illuminated reptilian eyes.

Re: That rascally little scamp!
Watching Fate lounge and scrunch up like a cat was oddly amusing, like having a monster for a pet. Garzah wasn't put off by her unnaturally long rows of fanged teeth at all, if anything, she thought it gave Faye an oddly charming look and probably would've been admired by some of her household back in Gorgoth.
Hearing Faye's request made Garzah surprised and silent for a bit.
".....ah. Entertain, huh?" Garzah asked, scratching her chin before a grin grew on her face. "Okay, I can do that. Why don't we play a game?" She rubbed her hands, clearly having something in mind for her new audience here.

Re: That rascally little scamp!
“Game?” The forest dweller visibly perked, sitting slightly straighter at the mention of a game. She liked games… no, she loved them. She loved winning games especially. She was a master of games, games in which she played often with those around her even if they were unaware they were part of it. She slowly leaned in closer, watching Garzah expectantly for more information.
“It can play many games. What is the prizes it wonders? Something fluffy, something shiny, or something floaty?” Faye’s eyes lingered on the frilled skirts of Garzah’s dress again before her gaze snapped to the orc. Her tail’s tip flicked back and forth in the grass excitedly.

Re: That rascally little scamp!
Garzah wrapped her arms with a big toothy smile, seeing Faye was excited to try her game out. She then stood up, her whole 6'8 height practically casting a shadow over Faye. Her excitement was invigorating to look at, to say the least. It really reminded Garzah of her older days.
"Simple! If you can get me to fall to the grass in some way, you win. But be careful, I'm a champion back home in not falling over easily!" Rubbing her hands, she placed her hands on her hips, clearly already ready to see how Faye would do this. "If you win, I'll give you a ride and free lunch! How about that?"

Re: That rascally little scamp!
Faye’s shimmering eyes followed Garzah’s rise to full height, dwarfing her in every visible aspect. The small forest dweller didn't seem concerned though, even as the rules for the game were laid out before her. By most standards, it would be a difficult challenge, after all the orc was a renowned weightlifter and gifted athlete. What could someone as tiny as this small strange girl possibly do against strength like that? Faye eased up off her backside, padding along the ground on all fours to walk a ring around Garzah, sizing her up from several angles. Once she had gotten to where she started she pondered over the proposed reward. She did like both those things. The orc would also make for a fine mount.
“It agrees.” Faye said simply, plopping back onto the ground to sit cross-legged before Garzah. She folded her hands in her lap and just… sat there. She would continue to stare up at the big woman, not breaking eye contact. If this was her plan, then it wasn’t looking particularly effective. Her ears perked with a wiggle and the tips of her lips twitched in a small smirk as the ground suddenly shifted. The soil beneath Garzah’s feet moved seemingly without cause, a small pillar of rock and dirt pushing up under one foot, as it collapsed into the ground beneath the other foot, changing the terrain right out from under her to possibly make her fall.
