Megumi Vs. Sarah Gatt- Revival

Cage Match

Megumi was already jittery before the match even started. She was going up against Sarah Gatt, who although many people said was past her prime, was still a dangerous opponent. Not only that, it was a cage match; a ring that suited the brawler far more than her. She had some bad experiences with brawlers in the ring, as they all were so much more powerful than they seemed. This time, she was going up against the best, and it wouldn't be pretty.

After adjusting the straps on her dress so that they were a bit looser, Megumi stepped out onto the ramp. She didn't go for any big performance this time, not quite feeling the mood, and a bit too nervous to hope to perform well enough. Instead, "nO LimiT" played over the speakers as Megumi walked towards the ring. The crowd cheered her onwards, and Megumi gave them many waves and even slapped a few high fives, but it was obvious that she was rather subdued. If anything, she was focused on the match before her.

She came up to the ring, which had been surrounded by a cage made of thick steel bars. A ring helper opened the door in one side of the cage, allowing her to enter. When she did, the ringhand closed the door with a loud clang! and then locked it with a thick padlock. Megumi knew that now she was in the ring, there was no way out without ending the match. She was in for the most brutal match of her life. All she could hope for was for Sarah to really not be as strong as before, since then maybe Megumi would have a chance.

As Megumi entered the cage the music of her opponant came blaring over the speakers. 'Wild Side' by Motley Crue' sounded the arrival of Sarah Gatt, and she came out from backstage, clad in her regular garb of red one piece and leather jacket, and signature dark smile on her face. Upon arrival she was greeted with a mixture of cheers and boos. Many her abscent during her quick but brutal victory over her last opponant, sending a message that she was back to her old ways. Those that did not see that would certainly witness it tonight. She was ready.

She walked down to the ring amongst the mixed cheers, ignoring them all with a smile on her face. She seemed to be in an unusually good mood, especially as she laid eyes on the cage. She had specifically requested a cage match, and the reasons for that were hers to know alone.

Entering the cage the door slammed shut behind her, and locked with a thick padlock. Sarah climbed into the ring and went to her corner, smirking at Megumi as she stood there nervously. "Oh, it's a bad day to be you," she chuckled.

Megumi's eyes narrowed when she saw Sarah Gatt getting on the ramp. One look at her and she knew that Sarah was probably out for blood. Megumi took a deep breath, forcing the nervousness down into her gut. She closed her eyes, and when she opened them, she had regained her composure. Her nervousness was gone; it was replaced by a determination to not just survive, but to win. She knew that any fight with Sarah Gatt was a fight on her own territory, but that wasn't about to stop her. She was going to try her best, and hopefully beat Sarah at her own game.

A smile came onto Megumi's face when Sarah tried to taunt her. "I think you will be the one having a bad day," she said softly, trying to show some bravado before beginning the match.

Sarah removed her leather jacket and tossed it into her corner, grinning maliciously at Megumi the entire time. "You think you can win?" Sarah asked coyly, her grin growing wider. "That's cute. But you just stepped into the lion's den, sweetheart." Sarah raised her fists at the ready. "And I'm the mother fuckin' dragon!" As soon as the bell rang Sarah took off running at Megumi, throwing a swift punch straight at her face.

"That doesn't even make sense..." Megumi thought when she heard Sarah speak. Sarah rushed forward at her with a hand raised to punch. Megumi narrowed her eyes, focusing on Sarah's movements. At the last moment, Megumi would leap aside. Since she was still in the corner, Sarah would probably end up driving that fist of hers into the steel bars.

Sarah's punch missed, but it stopped just short of the metal pole, because her punch wasn't intended to hit, but merely a distraction to keep Megumi's guard occupied. "HA!" Sarah laughed. She had Megumi right where she wanted her. Her foot would fly up instantly, and try to nail Megumi hard in the gut.

Megumi's eyes widened when she realized that it was a trap. She brought her arms across her body to block the worst of the kick, though Sarah's boot still dealt considerable damage, hitting Megumi hard. However, Megumi wasn't winded by the kick, so she could strike back far quicker than Sarah would probably expect. Megumi would jump at Sarah from her position and grab her legs, hoping to bring the brawler onto the mat.

Sarah's kick would find its mark but it seemed to do little to stop the still fresh Megumi. However she didn't let her guard down, trying to move with the momentum. When Megumi came at her Sarah would grab at her hair before she could grab at her legs, and use it to throw Megumi's whole body into the centre of the ring.

Megumi was just about to reach Sarah's legs when she suddenly felt Sarah tugging at her long hair. She let out a sharp cry of pain, faltering in her steps. Then Sarah threw her out by her hair to the center of the ring. Megumi let out another sharp cry of pain, rolling with the motion she that she didn't end up hurting herself too much. She rolled until she knelt on the ground, in a position to spring at Sarah again.

Sarah laughed in a loud whooping fashion. Anyone who doubted Sarah's capablities in this match were starting to have second thoughts. It certainly seemed like the old Sarah Gatt was back. "Come on!" Sarah laughed exusberantly. "At least put up a little bit of a fight. Give the people a show!" Sarah spread her arms out wide, inviting Megumi to take a shot at her.
