In With The Old Out With The New: Eshe vs. Hoshino

BAM!

With the gymnast in her clutches, Eshe would bring the poor girl down hard into the mat, slamming her down with everything she had. With success in the makeshift powerbomb, the Egyptian would find her pin settled in. Surprisingly enough, Yubari seemed rattled a little more than she thought but considering her own advantage it felt right only to capitalize.

With that leg hooked close to her body, the referee gave the first count, common to at least get one count in but as two came around, her heart began to race. Could she actually pull the win this early? She’d seen it happen before but to actually get it herself would be-

“Two, only Two!”

Yubari lifted her shoulder off the mat suddenly, lightly pushing her out of the way. Eshe couldn’t be upset about that, she was happy enough to manage a two count so early on. It just meant that her move did a lot more than she thought. A good way to start off, and exciting too. She could sense the schoolgirl was eager but eagerness could be ones downfall if they played to reckless. Still though, she couldn’t underestimate her either, that monkey flip was proof enough that she had some power behind her.

Slow to her feet, the Egyptian was concerned that she may have hit them a little too hard. Eshe stood before them, reaching down and hooking the girls arms to pull her to her feet. She was fully expecting Yubari to be hazy with her movements which could give her the oppurtunity to chip away more of them. With their current position, Eshe would attempt to spin them around, pressing her chest to their back. She’d use her arm placement in an attempt to snake her arms behind her neck and lock in her fingers for a Full Nelson.

Hoshino broke the pin, but only just barely. The spirited schoolgirl was already feeling beat up after taking those hits. She had such a good chance with that shining wizard, and she blew it. Maybe yelling out her moves wasn't such a good idea? Or maybe she should have tried something a bit simpler without so much setup against a fresh opponent like Eshe.

She didn't have time to analyze her mistakes though, as Eshe was already pulling her up to her feet. Hoshino still felt too woozy to really fight back. Eshe was able to easily spin the schoolgirl around, pressing her chest into Hoshino's back as she locked up her arms in a full nelson. The schoolgirl groaned as Eshe cranked the hold, pushing hern neck down painfully while squeezing her shoulders closer together. Her hands, raised high above her head, grabbed ahold of each other from the pain.

Hoshino knew with their size difference, there was little chance she could muscle her way out of the hold. She couldn't let Eshe keep her in it for a long time either, as she just didn't have the stamina to be worn down like this. She would have to break out quickly, and be smart about it. The gymnast thrust her hips back, bending over and forcing Eshe to bend as well using her hip as leverage. Then, Hoshino swung her body to the side, stepping with one leg behind her opponent's. She then straightened up, throwing both her arms open and backwards, using the leg she just positioned behind Eshe's as leverage to trip the Egyptian beauty and send her tumbling onto her back!

Her plan bore fruit as the smaller Japanese girl was slow to her feet, dazed of course and at her mercy. She felt kind of like a bully, picking on the new kid but this wasn’t the time or place to feel remorseful. She understood that Yubari came into the ring expecting to get thrashed around, came with the job but still.

Locking in her opponent with a full Nelson wasn’t the easiest thing to get out of but not difficult. Eshe knew she’d have to crank on the pressure and for a moment it seemed to really but Hoshino in a bad spot, however not for long. Surprisingly enough, she began her plan to slip out and free herself. At first, the Egyptian was understandably confused, she was forced forward with her hands caught by a pale pair. Next thing she knew, the schoolgirl had slipped out from under her and like magic, Eshe found herself tumbling to the canvas.

Her eyes went wide, impresses mostky but now in trouble, the sudden spike to her back only aimed to reignite the already stinging pain in her spine from the monkey flip earlier. Wow, girl knew how to make someone hurt, that’s for sure. She’d take a moment to roll backward, looking to get to the ropes and crest a fair distance to recover. As she slipped her feet underneath her to get back up, she’d lightly rub her spine to soothe the pulsing pain. Note to self, don’t do that again until you’re sure they’re a little more out of it.

She’d settle against the rope as she takes a breather, almost relaxing if it weren’t for the back problems. “You’re not half bad, Hoshino ch-, Hoshino. I’m getting a nice workout here.” She grins as she straightens out her legs “Ready for round two?” Eshe asks, bending her knees to reposition herself in her stance and slowly approaching.

Hoshino's training really paid off as the young fighter remembered what she was taught about getting out of a full Nelson. It seemed that Eshe hadn't been expecting that kind of efficient counter, hitting the mats hard on her lower back once more. But the schoolgirl wasn't about to gloat, she knew that overall she had been at a disadvantage since the start of this match. This was merely an opportunity to start over from an even footing with her opponent, and a hard earned one at that.

Eshe didn't stay down for long, quickly rolling backwards out of Hoshino's reach and getting back up. Hoshino didn't pursue, she was still hurting from the two big hits Eshe landed earlier, and needed some time herself to recover. Still, when Eshe got back up the schoolgirl raised her hands, signalling that she was ready to fight.

"You're pretty good yourself," Hoshino said, "Yeah, I'm ready. No more sneak attacks or sucker punches, we'll fight this round face to face!"

With that, Hoshino took off at her opponent at a run. She knew that speed was her greatest asset, and that if she tangled too closely with Eshe the size disadvantage would wear her down. She needed to land big hits, and fast. Hoshino opened the round with one of her favored moves, dashing in close and using her forward momentum to throw a powerful super kick right at Eshe's chest! Sure, it was a direct attack from the front, but Hoshino was confident that her sudden speed and ferocity would surprise Eshe enough to get in between her guard and knock her opponent flat on her ass!

Eshe was quick to her feet but that didn’t mean she wasn’t hurting. Her spine freaked again from the earlier impact but it seemed like Hoshino had pegged her for the impressive type, complementing her strength so far as the Egyptian had her. This match was too early to be taking it easy, she planned another angle of attack.

“Sure thing, I’ve always preferred a good old fashioned brawl. So you better not go backing down on me, I plan on giving you everything I got and more.” the violet declared only to her surprise, the Japanese schoolgirl was upon her in a flash.

With that leg extended and at such close range, Eshe has no way of setting in her guard before that super kick stuck her chest. ”Guugh!” she exhaled. The kick forced her back, she paces backward five steps before resting against the ropes. Air forced out of her lungs she’d definitely need a moment to recover, again, out of nowhere, Yubari surprised her with her strength.

The Egyptian would wait, someone like them couldn’t possibly wait to get another strike in. Eshe would wait patiently, drawing in her opponent as she recovered. If Hoshino came to close, the violet would spring forward, clutching her chest, she’d fire her elbow in an attempt to strike their collarbone and the base of their throat. A strike that caused more damage then most poor old realized and had the potential for more setups.

Landing the superkick gave Hoshino quite a bit of confidence, as it seemed that she was fast enough to outpace her opponent. Sure, Eshe was able to absorb the blow, not getting knocked off her feet like Hoshino expected from most of her opponents, but that only showed just how strong of an opponent Hoshino was facing. Still, it looked as if the kick knocked some of the wind out of Eshe, giving Hoshino a chance to press her advantage.

"I'm not done yet!" Hoshino said, declaring her intentions to both the crowd and herself to fire up their spirits. She charged in again, hoping to get in another big hit, when suddenly and unexpectedly Eshe struck back.

Hoshino wasn't ready at all when Eshe's elbow swung between her guard, striking her in her chest right under her collarbone. That was enough to stop her entire attack right in her tracks. Thanks to Hoshino's momentum, the blow was almost like a clothesline, knocking her backwards off her feet. The schoolgirl landed hard on her back with a big thud on the mats.

"Hah! Owwww..." Hoshino grunted, rolling onto her side while holding her lower back. Like Eshe, she had landed pretty hard, so she knew now exactly what the Egyptian fighter was feeling.

Here she comes, Wait for it, give her a false sense of confidence. Slowly, slowly. Hoshino seemed to take pride in her attack but she was being reckless. Eshe wondered what’s it was that drove her to take risks like this. She was playing rough, almost like this meant more to her than the violet understood. That wouldn’t stop her, as soon as the schoolgirl came close, she’d attack.

The Egyptian managed to strike home, her elbow clashed as the schoolgirl charged. Eshe practically throwing her body into the elbow strike, what she didn’t expect was the smaller girl getting thrown back like she did. Landing hard, the sting and it’s effects were plain on Hoshino’s face. A slow and drawn out breath filled her lungs, the sudden throb in her chest became another injury she’d have to add to her already growing list. Yubari was doing everything in her power to show off but understandably, she was making a very prominent statement.

Gritting her teeth, Eshe drops to her knees and sends her tendrils to hook the girls arm and thigh. She’d attempt to capitalize on their position, placing her knee to the center of their spine, the Egyptian snakes her arm further down the schoolgirls arm if she managed to lock in her hold.

”Looks like I gotcha. Don’t be afraid to submit any time, Hoshino.” with that being said, she’d lean back, wrenching the girl and bending her into the spike that was her knee. Eshe would create a rhythm, the violet would pull, pull, pull then give the smaller girl a break only to start it all over again.

Hoshino's inexperience was really starting to show. Though she had not intended it, she had practically charged right into her opponent's elbow, her own momentum making the attack hurt much worst for her than otherwise. Now she was on her back again, groaning in pain. She knew she couldn't keep things up like this, her body couldn't take this much punishment constantly and still be OK.

She tried to get up, rolling onto her side, but Eshe wasn't giving her any chance. "Uwahh!" she gasped when Eshe planted a knee against her back. Her leg got caught by Eshe's arm, and though Hoshino struggled for a moment Eshe grabbed her arm as well. The young fighter screamed as Eshe drove her knee in deep into her sore back.

"Owww! Stop! Stop!" Hoshino gasped. Though she was flexible from years of gymnastics, the pressure from Eshe's knee bending into her back was more than enough to make her scream. Eshe was working her with a practiced hand, releasing the pressure at intervals before cranking back up, working to slowly wear her down! Hoshino could tell she wasn't trying to make her submit so much as weaken and break her spirit. She wasn't going to give Eshe that satisfaction.

Gritting her teeth, Hoshino reached with her free hand desperately for the ropes. She couldn't power her way out of the hold, and waiting for Eshe to tire was going to leave her weakened and hurting, so trying to go for a rope break was the only option. But though the fight had taken them close to the edge of the ring, the ropes still seemed so far away. Would she be able to reach them?

The Egyptian continued to push the gymnast, applying pressure against the schoolgirls spine. The ear piercing cry made her slightky hesitate. She expected to hear groans and the like but a scream like this? Eshe wasn’t sure that this was something she wanted to keep hold of.

She fought herself to let go. The violet understood that this was the risk opponents faced with each other but that relization didn’t prepare her for it. ”C’mon Hoshino, you can stop this by giving up.” She urges, cranking her hold but not to the same intensity. Her aim wasn’t to seriously injury her foe but to at least put them in an overwhelming situation.

While too focused on her hold, she didn’t even notice the free hand going for the ropes. While the schoolgirl struggled for the nylon, the Egyptian found herself being broken up the ref who demanded that she let go. Surprised, her pools found a pale hand grabbing hold of the rope. With a soft sigh of relief, her arms would unravel from their limbs. She’d give them a chance to get up, taking a few steps toward the center of the ring, she’d allow them to get to their feet and reset their stance.

The violet would prepare herself and settle into her own stance. Hoshino was proving to be a somewhat surprising opponent, though both were wet behind the ears, they showed promise. Winning would prove her overcoming this level of adversity and something that Eshe could get behind.

Hoshino managed to catch a lucky break. Eshe was too focused on the hold to notice her hand reaching for the ropes, and she was just close enough that her fingertips were barely able to catch onto the bottom ropes. Had they been an inch farther, or Eshe noticed a little bit earlier, Hoshino would still be trapped in the painful submission. But the referee forced Eshe to let go, leaving the poor schoolgirl in a heap on the mats, groaning in pain while clutching her lower back.

Though Hoshino was hurting, she refused to just give in. She had the never give up spirit of a true fighter, she wasn't about to let Eshe beat her this easily. The young athlete forced herself onto her knees, using the ropes to pull her aching body back to her feet.

Eshe had already reset in the center of the ring, putting a bit of distance between herself and Hoshino. This suited the gymnast, as it gave her enough space to build up speed for a powerful attack. Hoshino narrowed her eyes, focusing her attention on her target. She leaned back against the ropes, then used the rebounding force to spring forwards at a sprint towards her opponent.

As she approached, she made it look like she was about to use her momentum to kick Eshe in the chest again. But that was a ruse. Instead, Hoshino would run past Eshe, rebounding off the ropes behind her, and come right back behind Eshe! She would jump up and aim her dropkick right at Eshe's back, hoping to knock Eshe flat on her face!
