Home Is Where the Hatred Is

Lilly pressed up against him and Clyde continued to smile smugly, unphased by her attitude and her large bust that mashed against his chest.

"Yer right we're not friends. " He said as watched her turn her back on him and just leave all pouty like.

"Yer cruel and petty and don't care about nobody but yerself. I think yer down right rotten to the core!" Clyde said as he crossed his arms.

"I know we didn't plan on this happenin'! But I still ain't the kinda guy to just throw ya out. It's my fault too..." Clyde muttered before scoffing in annoyance.

"Ya can't stop bein' a brat even to the people who are tryin' ta' be nice to ya, huh?" He asked, clearly annoyed before his mischivous side kicked in and he swatted Lilly's ass though the duster.

Lilly waited outside of the room, arms crossed and her back turned to him as she listened to him talk down to her, insult her. She was used to it from him, but, for reasons beyond her understanding, she just got angrier and angier with each word he said. Why, in all the hells, was he bothering her so much?

But, even after all of that, his hand came swatting at her ass, making her jump a bit. That was all she needed for her to finally burst. She turned back to him, face red and hands clenched into fists at her sides.

"WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?! YOU HATE ME, AND I HATE YOU!" Lilly took a step toward him, willing herself to not lunge at him again. "Why then, are you doing me any favors? You should be kicking me out! You said it yourself, I"m rotten! So why?!" Lilly's breath was shallow, her fists shaking at her sides. It took all she had to not crack him in the face.

Clyde stood his ground as Lilly snapped at him, tensions boiling over yet again!  "I DO HATE YOU!" He snarled, his brow twitching as she yelled him, making him question why even HE was trying to do this. Part of him knew why and he hated to admit.

"...." His nose scrunched up and he snorted as he glared at her before mumbling. "'Cause it was... Nice." He mumbled bitterly before speaking up a bit louder.

"Don't ya wanna just not fight fer one day? Especially after all this? Huh? Ain't you tired after today?"

Lilly could hardly hold herself back as he yelled back at her. If she wasn't so spent from their "tussle," she probably would have just gone off again. But what he muttered under his breath caught her off guard. The blonde's face shifted from pure anger to confusion.

Never in her lie would she have ever thought he'd propose a truce. Shit, she'd never do it. So why would he? But he wasn't wrong. She was exhausted, and even if she wanted to, she probably couldn't take him right now.

She looked at him for what felt like forever before heaving out another loud sigh. "I... I guess I am tired..." she said, turning her head away. "Just don't expect me to return the favor..." It wasn't until now that she realized just how spent she was. It had been a long time since she had a workout like that, and just standing on her shaky legs was tiring enough.

Clyde huffed in annoyance. "Whatever. Like I'd want it." He said before grabbing her wrist without a word, it wasn't a hard grip, he didn't squeeze, but it was tight enough for Clyde to tug her down the stairs and take her outside, letting him lock the door to his place before the two were finally outside, leaving Clyde to awkwardly stare at Lilly.

"So now you know where I live... If you're gonna come over and fight with me, Fine. But you could at least call when you do. I'm a busy guy and it was bad enough you cost me my lunch." He said before walking down the street with her.

Lilly sighed at Clyde's responce. Her exhaustion was indeed catching up to her to the point where she couldn't eve argue with him anymore. And what's worse, she knew she was going to be sire the next day. She'd be sure to make sure he payed for that another day.

Clyde snatched her wrist, and her first instict was to try and yank it back. But... she let it happen. The cowboy dragged out of the house, before telling her that.. was he telling her she was welcome to come back? Now she was just confused... and kind of happy to hear it. She pushed that thought away instantly. She was not excited to come back.

"Assuming your phone isn't broke, idiot," she replied, grinning when she remembered throwing his crappy phone across the room. Lilly walked next to Clyde, and for the first time, she didn't feel like trying to make his life a living hell.

"Don't get it twisted though. This ain't an invitation to come on over either." Clyde mumbled dryly before he and Lilly made to a nearby clothing store that was small and obviously very trendy. But it was closest one to Clyde's place and there was no way in hell he was taking her to the mall.

"Here. Clothes. You can get something." He said before his eyes widened. "Ya did bring yer money right?" He asked with a mumble.

Lilly just rolled her eyes when Clyde denied that he was actually inviting her over. It sure sounded like one to her. And, deny if he wanted, she knew an invitation when she heard one. Ne really was an idiot.

The two arrived at a small clothing store, to which Lilly wrinkled her nose. "Yeah... clothes. Gross, simple clothes," Lilly grumbled. But when Clyde asked if she had money, she couldn't help but laugh.

The cheerleader reached into a small, barely noticeable pocket in her skirt, pulling out a credit card. "More money than you'd know what to do with." Without another word, she entered the store to look for whatever clothes were here that weren't completely hideous.

"It's one of them their hipster stores where the kids 'round here shop! Don't like you ain't all trendy and junk here!" He grumbled after she voiced her displeasure with the place but knowing Lilly she was probably used to some very expensive places that would make him cry at just seeing the price tag.

Then Lilly whipped it out, a platinum credit card!?!? The sight of it nearly blinded Clyde. "Yer right! Gah damn!" Clyde muttered before watching Lilly look around the store, letting her go ahead and do that while he took a deep breath and eventually followed her.

"... You should give up on Mercy, Lilly. It's over. She left me not long after y'all fought and now shes with someone else. If there's anyone you should be hating right now its me." He told her before sighing deeply.

"I heard a rumor she ain't even in Japan anymore anyway, Lilly... I heard she's gone home ta' be a lawyer... Ya can't even hope to hurt her now." Clyde warned as he eyed the clothes around this hipster pad.

"I'm not into 'what the kids 'round here' are into, Clyde," Lilly snapped as she entered the store, heading straight for the girl's section. And his notice of her platinum card din't go unoticed to her either. He probably has never even met anyone who had one, let alone seen one. It helped having wealthy parents.

Lilly wandered around the ladies section, looking first for a decent pair of panties. While some of the selection was cute, none of it looked particuraly... comfy. But she'd have to settle, so she grabbed a lacy black thong, which looked better than the rest of the options.

When Clyde started rambling about Mercy, the cheerleader felt her blood boil. Just the mention of her made her angry. And she KNEW he knew that. Why did he have to bring her up? "I already hate you, Clyde. So I'm many steps ahead of you," she said as she looked through a rack of t-shirts, most of which had some stupid pop culture design on it. At least most of them were cotton. "Also, I'm not surprised that she left you. She may be as dumb as you are, but at least she has standards."

But what Clyde said next made her freeze. No way. She didn't. Lilly spun around and face Clyde, her face red yet again. "That's just a rumor. She hasn't left." She didn't know i she was trying to convince him, or herself. She refused to believe it. She refused to believe that the one person she wanted to get her hands on was gone. "I saw her when I came back! I tossed her ass into the guard wall! She's not gone!"

Several people in the store stopped to look at her for a moment before pressing on their way. She knew she was making a scene, but she didn't care. Clyde had to be lying.
