He saved him cause its the natural and right thing to do. Your acting like just wanting to be left alone and try and move past something he had no choice in the matter is a bad thing. He doesnt want to be dragged into any more crap if he could help it.

Woah, yeah Tony got tossed around but your taking things out of hand dude. The avengers dont hate him, they mistly sounded disappointed in him and he showed Hawkeye enough that got him to help in confidence, showinngthat he still has some respect that Tonys trting to do the right thing. Even Black widow didnt seem to hate Tony as she left. Steve outright says he was right about the thing with his parents and how he should have been told but he only got in the way because Tony Was trying to kill Bucky, he didnt want that fight and he didn't taunt him over it.

I mean, Tony was right throughout most of the movie...
