Julia Rogers vs. Valley Doll - Light Up the Sky

Valley took Julia’s hand with a single second of hesitation, wanting to take nothing away from the bright young warrior. She’d fought with such amazing skill, an unbelievable heart. She was a testament to everything Valley had said about the Entropy Belt. While the World Champion was going around having beauty contests and evening gown matches for the title, here was this amazing fresh talent, putting everything she had into a match with nothing more on the line than pride and bragging rights. If no one else respected that, she did.

Valley stood, still a little wobbly, and raised Julia’s hand up high, pointing to her with the other one while the crowd cheered and cheered. She nodded and took a deep breath, basking in the moment, before she looked Julia’s way again.

”Let’s definitely do that again, yeah.” A slight smirk started to bend her lips. ”I’ll have a few surprises waiting for you, though. Fair warning.”

Julia stood along with Valley, using the Slamazon for a bit of help staying balanced as she rose. When Valley directed the crowd to cheer for her, the cowgirl took a humble bow and pointed right back to her foe. A lot of amazing moments had come about in tonight’s match, but it had in no way been an individual effort. It takes two to tango, as they say. And there very well might not be another person on the planet who could quite dance Julia’s style with her the way Valley Doll had.

When the moment passed and they faced each other again, Julia grinned right back. “Heh, I’d almost be disappointed if ya didn’t,” she replied. Certainly the next time these two daredevils met, whenever fate decided that would be, neither girl could afford to play the same hand they had tonight. Julia would no doubt have to change things up some too if she hoped to repeat history.

Part of Julia wanted to stick around and take in the crowd’s cheers for a while, but she was exhausted. A shower, celebratory meal back at the dojo and a good night’s sleep all sounded heavenly right now. After all, tomorrow she’d be right back to work with a day full of film and training.

“Hey, I’ll catch ya later, Val.” Julia said with a light wave of her hand, before heading over toward the ropes, laying down and rolling out onto her feet at ringside. Smiling as brightly as she could in the midst of her exhaustion, Julia high fived the fans in the front row while making her way over to the aisle. The cowgirl then waved to various sections of the crowd while heading up the ramp, then stopped on the entrance stage to turn and give a final bow, to Valley and the audience, before turning and disappearing through the curtain as she made her way back to the locker room.
