Valley wasn't the least bit surprised when Julia kicked out. Oh, getting a pin would've been nice, but a little in satisfying, especially when she still had some good moves to unleash.

Besides, Julia had really worked her over with that camel clutch. Valley was eager to repay the kindness.

When the cowgirl shot her arm up and broke the pin, Valley seized the opportunity and reached behind her head, getting a tight grip those long, golden curls. She pulled Julia to the side, wrapped her legs around the younger woman’s neck, tucked her right ankle underneath her left knee and pulled it tight, squeezing away with her signature figure-four headlock - or, as she liked to call it, Trapped in the Valley.

Or the Valley Lock. She was considering a change.

Julia may have escaped the pin, but that hardly improved her situation. Almost as soon as she’d kicked out the Slamazon was already grabbing onto the cowgirl’s blonde hair. She was yanked to the side, and before Julia could even react, Valley’s legs were already slinging themselves around her head and neck.

“No!” Julia grunted while trying to kick her legs out, hoping to scoot out of range of the hold before it was locked in. Too little, too late. The headscissor was applied just before her escape might’ve had a chance of working. Now, she was effectively caught in the trap.

“Ngh!” the cowgirl grunted through grit teeth while her head and neck were squeezed between the Slamazon’s thighs. It was a hold plenty of women incorporated into their movesets, and one Julia had known Valley liked to use, though now she was getting a true appreciation for how well it suited her foe. She had great legs - not just to look at, but they were toned, firm, flexible. Whatever adjective you wanted to attach, hardly mattered. Valley could lock in one hell of a headscissor, and all Julia could do right now was endure the crushing pain and kick around with her legs in desperate search of the ropes.

”Gotcha.”

Valley, strictly speaking, was not a submission wrestler. Neither was her mother for that matter, but Valley Doll Sr. had always stressed the importance of having a well-rounded moveset, and when her daughter went looking for ways to make her opponents submit, this was the natural choice.

She grabbed her ankle and pulled back as Julia went into a thrashing fit, giving her a burst of the maximum pressure. That was one of the great things about the move, how she could get so much pressure from the move’s unique configuration.

But that was just the most obvious benefits. There were other great things about the hold.

To demonstrate, Valley rolled over to her chest, forcing Julia to do the same. She planted her palms flat on the mat, lifted her hips up, and thrusted her hips down, ramming cowgirl’s poor face into the canvas - once, twice, three times.

After that, she tucked her body in, rolled forward, lifted Julia up with her legs and slammed her back on the mat at the end of the flip. It wouldn't do all that much damage, but it was a good way for Valley to keep pounding her opponent out, grinding her to the nub.

Julia cringed while Valley’s legs cranked up to maximum pressure on the scissor. Then she was suddenly rolled over onto her front. And once, twice, three times, her head was brought up and down to smack against the mat. Despite the discomfort it caused Julia, some in the crowd were rather amused by the sight of Valley hip-thrusting the cowgirl’s head repeatedly into the canvas and had a good chuckle over it.

Then Julia went for a bit of a ride as Valley flipped her over onto her back and resumed strangling her with her legs. Just thirty seconds ago Julia seemed to have firm control of things, and now her foe was tossing and ragdolling her around the ring with just her legs. And worse yet, those legs didn’t seem to be intent on letting her go.

“Ngrh!!” Julia choked out, boots kicking against the mat while her hands pulled on Valley’s leg, trying to create just enough distance between it and her neck to allow her to breathe a bit.

“Julia, do you submit?” the ref asked while kneeling by the two. Julia didn’t immediately answer. Was she thinking about tapping out? Hard to say, at least for a moment. But she finally managed to practically squeak out, “Won’t...tap....” It was the closest thing to a coherent sentence she could manage, but it got the point across. In case it didn’t, her thrashing then immediately picked back up again. Her legs stretched and kicked out, and she tried rolling her body around in hopes of bringing them close to the ropes. Whatever happened, Julia knew she couldn’t stay in this hold much longer. The lack of oxygen was taking its toll, and the pressure was excruciating, especially with the pain inflicted by Valley’s Pele Kick still there. So Julia continued to attempt to roll toward the ropes, knowing that it very well might be the only way for her to get out of this trap at this point.

Flipping Julia around like a pancake undoubtedly made for quite a show, and Valley couldn’t keep herself from feeling a little bad about it. She didn’t want to humiliate her fellow daredevil. But as silly as all the flipping and banging looked, it served a crucial purpose - wearing her opponent down and keeping her away from the ropes. Valley was taking Julia apart by pieces.

But she couldn’t do that forever. Oh, she would’ve liked to, but it wasn’t making Julia tap out. Not really. And with her back still aching from the camel clutch, it wasn’t the least bit feasible. She had to give it up, but she didn’t have to give it up gently.

Julia reached the ropes, and Valley had to let the hold go for a moment - but only a moment. When it passed, she reached down and grabbed the cowgirl’s head, yanking her back to her feet with a few rough tugs

As soon as Julia was standing on two feet, Valley brought her leg up and swung it into her chest, hitting her with a sharp shin kick, trying to make her stumble into the nearest corner.

Right where Valley wanted her. Needed her. As fun as this was, it was time to start closing the book.

For whatever it was worth, Julia didn’t fault Valley in the slightest for tossing her around, nor would she hold any sort of grudge for it. She understood what the purposes of what the Slamazon was doing much better than those watching from the comfort of their seats. It was making a headscissor already on maximum pressure dish out even more damage to Julia’s defenseless head and neck, and in the process kept her away from the ropes she so desperately sought after. The cowgirl wasn’t aware how much longer her rival could sustain the hold, but she felt like her attempt to reach the ropes could have very well been her last chance to escape.

Fortunately she didn’t have to find out for certain. Her last role brought her boot onto the bottom rope, forcing a break. The second Valley’s legs unwrapped from around her neck, the masked girl began to cough profusely. But no recovery time was allotted to her, as her foe grabbed onto her hair and pulled her back to her feet. And the moment she was up,...

“UGH!!” Julia cried out as Valley’s shin slammed hard right into her chest, blasting the luchadora into an off balance stumble into a corner directly behind her. Her arms draped over the top ropes on either side, and she again started coughing and spluttering. As relieved as she was to be able to breathe again, her foe wasn’t giving her much room to do so. And with the way things were looking, Julia wasn’t sure she’d have enough in the tank to slow down Valley’s speeding freight train of momentum.

As much as things might’ve looked in control on the outside, Valley’s interiors were a different story. Her back was aching from the clutch, and flipping Julia around like that hadn’t done wonders for it. On top of that, she wasn’t in a good spot to nail either of her finishers. Julia wasn’t flat on her back for the Full Moonsault and she wasn’t in a good spot for the Valley Bomb, either.

Not a problem. She could improved.

Reaching up, Valley grabbed Julia’s masked head and roughly shoved it under her arm, putting her in a front facelock. She took a moment to apply some pressure, then threw her head back and let her voice fly.

”Time to fly!”

That got the people pumping. The fans rose up, grabbed their cameras, got ready to snap. They knew that, win or lose, Valley saying that typically meant the match was about to reach a thuderous climax. If this went off like she planned, it would be no exception.

The first step was getting Julia up to some altitude. Valley drapped the luchadora’s arm over her shoulder for leverage, then lifted her up just high enough to make her sit that cute little butt down on the turnbuckle.

Julia panted in the second or two it took Valley to close the very short distance between them, but that was all the breathing room she was allowed. Her head was trapped under her foe’s arm, and she cringed and grunted while Valley squeezed down on her. Then came the foreshadowing call, and Julia knew that meant trouble.

Sure enough, the cowgirl was elevated up onto the top turnbuckle. She sat up there in a half-dazed, panting mess. The part of her mind that was able to focus on the situation was split into two schools of thought. One was to expend as much energy as possible in an attempt to get down from the top rope and lash out at Valley. But Valley was more than aware enough to defend herself if she tried, and there was also the risk that Julia slipped up and took a bad fall she wasn’t ready to recover from. Either way, only would’ve helped Valley and hurt Julia.

The other option, perhaps equally risky in its own right, was patience. A couple more seconds of rest could mean the difference in whether or not she could find a way to survive whatever the Slamazon had up her sleeve. The obvious risk there, she was royally screwed if that just happened to be something the cowgirl didn’t have an answer for. But it still seemed to be the safest choice. Whether that was saying anything or not remained to be seen, but it’s the option Julia elected to go with.

The crowd was clapping. Valley loved it when they did that.

She was putting up Julia, setting her for a big fall, and there they were. Leaning forward, mouths open, gaped in wonder. At the moment, in this exact frame of time, this wrestling ring was the center of attention across the world, and all she had to do was give them somehting worth watching.

”All right, cowgirl, time to go for a ride.” Valley scaled the turnbuckle, planting her feet on the bottom rope and getting a good balance. Just to make sure her opponent was properly stunned, she hopped up and threw a hard elbow at Julia’s face. Just to make sure she stayed plient before Valley started getting crazy.

Her plan was send Julia flying with a hurricanrana off the top. Getting her up there in the first place was the tricky part.

Julia Rogers vs. Valley Doll - Light Up the Sky - Page 8 Empty Re: Julia Rogers vs. Valley Doll - Light Up the Sky

Post by LARIATO Mon May 16, 2016 7:38 am

Once again Julia found herself on the reverse end of a scenario she was more than familiar with. A big high flying maneuver was being set up and the crowd was all into it, but they were waiting in high anticipation to see Julia get destroyed by it, not deliver it. Not that it was something to be bothered by. It was just an inevitable part of competing against a girl like Valley.

The Slamazon’s warning was followed immediately by a stiff elbow strike that smashed right into the luchadora’s masked face, drawing a grunt from Julia and pushing her further back on the turnbuckle. It gave Valley plenty of room to climb on up to the top. But, even though Julia was hurting and winded, she knew the time to fight back had come. Now or never. If Valley managed to bring her crashing down from here, it was likely game over.

With a sudden shout Julia fired her right fist in an uppercut into Valley’s stomach, hoping to halt her rival flier’s ascent and hunch her over. From there she’d grab onto Valley’s hair to hold her in place and use her for balance so she could pull herself to stand up on the small extension connecting the turnbuckle to the steel ring post. The cowgirl would point an index finger skyward, her own variation of Valley’s signature call out for a big, potentially match-ending move. Indeed, it was time to go for a ride, just not the way Valley had envisioned.

Hooking her hands around Valley’s waist, she’d throw herself into a forward flip over her foe’s body and land feet first on the mat, then attempt to hurl Valley out of the corner with a sunset flip powerbomb!
