Stone vs. Blaise Cameron - Making a Stand

At first, Blaise is grateful for the respite when Stone leans over. But that's soon gone in favor of... well... nothing. His mind blanks as the air is crushed out of him, his abs caving around her shoulder. "Guhh!" His body folds over her, his heels scraping against the mat to try to move back from her, despite having nowhere to go.

This match isn't off to a good start, and he's in no position to turn things around. So far, his chest is starting to ache, he can't breathe, and his midsection's being abused. He wants to drive a knee into her chest, but crushed as he is, he can't engage his abdominals enough to bring up any kind of force. At best, it's a bump.

Stone grunted as she felt the weak knee against her chest - not nearly enough to make her stop, but more than enough to annoy her. Instead of lifting back up, she held the position and even tightened it, moving her hands behinds his back and getting a tight grip, securing the hold and squeezing away at his ribs. "I tried to warn you."

She pulled away from the ropes and lifted him up on her shoulders, hauling him up with ease and dropping him roughly on the top rope, making him sit up on the turnbuckle. She had a big move in mind, hoping to go for a quick finish on this and save everyone a lot of needless trouble, but she had to make sure Blaise was properly pliable before she attempted it. Nothing some brute force couldn't accomplish.

She reared and threw two hard right hooks into Blaise's gut, ramming them in one after the other to make his battered stomach even more battered. Trying to take more of the fight out of him - she knew from experience that he had much to spare.

Stone tightens up around Blaise's midsection, deliberately crushing him in a modified bearhug of sorts. "Ga'hugh!" His eyes squeeze shut, hands balling into fists. His boots continue to scramble uselessly against the mat, his face twisted in pain. God, Stone was being ruthless. He doesn't have the space to take a solid breath without aching against Stone's shoulder.

At last, Blaise experiences some odd sense of relief as he's hefted and sat atop the turnbuckle. He leans forward, his hands setting to the ropes at either side to catch his balance. The teen's frame rises dramatically as he finally takes in a deep breath- and Stone's fist slams into his abs again. "G'nnf!" He curls inwards. And another hit! Blaise curls further, his arms wrapping desperately around his beaten midsection with a groan.

Someone was clapping off to the side of the ring. Divine, maybe. Couldn't tell, and it didn't matter. Stone was all about finishing this fight as soon as possible, in the most exacting way imaginable,with the minimum number of casualties. If the other Valkyries thought she was just being brutal, so be it. Let them have the illusion.

The crowd had been booing her solid up until this point, but there was a change in tone when they figured out where this was going. Everyone wanted to see a train wreck, even if it involved someone they liked, and Stone was clearly going to deliver.

She got up on the middle rope and stood right in front of Blaise, balancing out just right. Stone reached around his body, pulled him in close, and got ready to hit him with a belly-to-belly suplex from on high - her first superplex.

Blaise is hurting at this point. The match is fresh, but Stone's been relentless, and absolutely drilling his midsection. Hearing the audience start to turn made him feel a little sicker, on top of it. He's been in this situation before - the audience likes seeing him get beaten up. He got used to the cheers in America, and he was kind of okay with it, as long as it was because they thought he looked good in the process. But this... it stung, somehow. Was he getting used to them being on his side?

Stone wraps her arms around him, and Blaise's mind races. She's standing before him, hugging him against her body. His knowledge-banks kick on, and he instantly realizes what she's about to do. His eyes widen, and he suddenly throws his head forward, aiming to smash his forehead against hers. It's going to hurt, but hopefully hurt her worse - maybe even knock her off the post. And if she drags him down with her, he may even land atop her and turn it into a kind-of-splash. He doesn't care, he'll take what he can get!

Stone gathered herself and prepared for the big plunge, knowing full well that a drop from this height wouldn't exactly be pleasant on her body, either. A little extreme, but this was an extreme situation.

She was too close for him to effectively punch, so she didn't worry about Blaise giving her any serious resistance. She should have. He couldn't use his limbs, but the boy still had a hard head - literally and figuratively- and he knew just how to apply it in the most devastating way possible.

Their melons collided with an audible crack that made the entire audience wince. Bone smashed against bone and it left Stone stunned. She grabbed the ropes at the last second, didn't fall all the way, but she was too out of it at the moment to do anything apart from just hanging there. Completely vulnerable.

Alas, the phrase remains true - nobody wins with a headbutt.

Blaise's mind is swimming, his skull throbbing, his body aching... but he can tell he's not in any immediate danger now. The behemoth before him has been stunned, affording him a few precious seconds to turn this situation around. But with her arms blocking off much of his options, he decides quickly that he can't pull anything flashy here. Nothing massive. Not yet. The first order of business is to get a little distance from her.

Grabbing onto the top ropes, Blaise curls his legs in tight to his chest before rocketing both heels out at her torso, hoping to blast her from her perch!

Okay. That sucked. Next time, Stone would have to make a mental note to get in close and hold Blaise's head tight, keep him from using that thick skull as a blugeon. The man knew how to get himself out of a bad situation.

She shook her head, trying to regain some sense after the blow. The sheer alacrity and surprise of the move was what left her stunned the most, but it wouldn't stop her from capitalizing on her position. The drop kick to her chest, though, definitely would stop her, and even more besides that. It sent her flying out of the corner for a nasty spill right on her back, with enough momentum to flip her over to her chest before she could stop.

Stone groaned and started to push off the floor, wanting to get back on her feet before what she suspected was about to happen actually happened...

If there's one person Blaise consistently fails to disappoint, it's his opponent. These circumstances may be a little different from the others, of course.

Blaise lifts to his boots and adjusts himself to stand atop the top ropes. Once poised atop the proverbial world, Blaise throws a fist to the skylights with a bright smile. He doesn't entirely feel that smile yet, the nagging fear that Mako might try something with Suzumi still in the back of his mind, but he knows he has an image to put forward tonight. He has to show an indomitable, unconquerable spirit. These Valkyries haven't, and won't, get to him.

The teen is suddenly airborne, curling forward into a graceful, flipping ball aiming to drive his knees down across Stone's back!

Meanwhile, on the outside of the ring, Mako had finished her little trip towards Suzumi, nearing the fallen Angel. She was casual in her look, but she couldn't hide a little predatory glint in her eye while she approached. Hands behind her back. No threatening moves. "Suzumi, right?" She glanced between her and her little boyfriend, as the battle raged on in the ring. "Came to support your man, huh? Nice."

In the ring, Suzumi's man didn't need all that much support - he was getting by fine on his lonesome. Stone had just started to turn around and face Blaise when she felt a pair of hardened knees shoot into her back, digging in like fleshy spears. The impact was enough to knock her clean off her feet and send her falling forward with all the grace of a chopped tree.

She hit with a resounding impact as the crowd cheered, though it all sounded distorted through her rumbling head. Shaky, groggy, hurting and disoriented, Stone pressed her palms flat on the floor and started to push up.
