Aisha vs Tiffany Laurence: The Fighting Temptations

After Aisha went up and over, Tiffany went into the bridge perfectly. She delivered enough holding German suplexes to do that part of the Dixie Buster without any problems.

But now she had to roll backwards into the Texas cloverleaf. No big deal. Except she hadn't done so much as a somersault in her time in the AFW.

She kicked her legs up to go into the roll. Her feet went up.....then back down. The crowd giggled at Tiffany's trouble, making her blush with embarrassment.
*Dammit, how does she do this?* Tiffany wondered to herself.

On her second attempt the Texan threw herself backwards, the cowgirl went into perhaps the world's most awkward back roll. Flopping onto Aisha's back, she locked in the cloverleaf with a triumphant "Aha!" Although, there had been a short delay between the slam and the submission hold.

Looking around, Tiffany saw that she had also flung Aisha past the center of the ring, instead of dead center like Dixie always seemed to do, which put the Rose within crawling distance of the safety of the ropes.

Aisha had been Dixie Bustered and seen other wrestlers endure it more times than she cared to count, and she really did not care to count it. She knew the move well enough that she could perform it herself - in fact, when she finally got DIxie back in the ring to settle the score, that'd be a good idea. Fitting, somehow.

That was the reason her eyebrow arched as she layed flat on the floor, confusion filling her mind. She knew what was supposed to happen after the slam part of the move, and it wasn't happening. "What-" She looked over her shoulder to see Tiffany's legs flopping up in the air and falling ineffectively. "You need some help, or-"

It took a second try, but Tiffany did manage to make the move work, flipping onto Aisha's back and locking in the cloverleaf. All the familiar pains returned with a vengeance, as her back exploded into indescribably agony, her spine bent into a shape it was never designed to go. It wasn't quite as bad as Dixie's - the way she rolled into it always made you want to tap out from the first second - but it was close enough. If the Dixie Buster was a 10, the Tiffany Buster was a 9.5.

The only saving grace was that Tiffany's move had placed them close to the ropes, and Aisha fully intented to exploit that all the way. She desperately scrambled to the edge of the ring and reached out for them, shrieking all the way.

"Yeah who needs help now?!" Tiffany called after locking in the cloverleaf.

The crowd was going crazy, their noise filling the arena. Aisha's supporters were outraged that Tiffany was trying to defeat their favorite with the move of her Rumble Roses rival and yelled to support Aisha to endure. Tiffany's fans, though in the minority at the moment cheered the boldness, the audacity of the attempt. They were thinking, much like Tiffany herself, that since Aisha came looking for Dixie it was only fitting she be brought low by the Yankee Rose's finisher.

"Whoa!"
Tiffany knew Aisha would be going for the ropes, but the other woman went for them with a sort of desperate fury that caught her off guard. Still, her back had to be in utter shambles. The submission would come pretty soon.

Except...it never did. She screamed and shrieked, but she never gave in.

Aisha made it to the ropes. Tiffany, who usually followed the rules of the ring, turned her loose and broke the hold as soon as the ref called for the break.
As she walked back to the center of the ring, Tiffany, despite herself, was impressed at the Dancing Sista's will and fortitude.
"Man, she's got guts, I'll give her that." Tiffany said to the ref with a low, impressed whistle.

Now, that was a familiar sound - dueling fanbases. One of the problems Rumble Roses always had was that everyone seemed to like everyone else. Anesthesia, Benikage and Candy Cane were the only girls that seemed to ever do anything on the sly, and even the latter two didn't get cheap too often. So what was the result? Whoever was wrestling always had people cheering for her and against her, and things always got hot in the stands.

Tiffany had a small following, but they were loyal, and when Aisha finally grabbed the ropes, they were sure to through boos her way. Well, Aisha hated to disappoint them, but she wasn't quite done in this match. She was close. Way, way closer than she ever dreamed of being. But not quite.

Thankfully, Tiffany didn't immediately capitalize on Aisha's vulnerable state, backing off and giving her a moment to get back. She gratefully took it, too, and started to pull herself back up after a few moments passed, managing to get up to one knee with the rope's support. Her back was still aching like mad, but she could finish the match, at least. Win or lose. As soon as she got home, though, she was going to get in the jacuzzi and just soak for a straight hour.

"Sorry, girl." Aisha looked back to Tiffany with a cute wink. "I ruin your big moment? Huh?"

"I won't lie, you kinda did." Tiffany replied. "If you tapped, I think Dixie would've popped a brain cell."

She had watched Aisha slowly pull herself up to a knee. The older woman moved slowly. Her back had to be giving her all sorts of trouble, but Aisha was still willing to keep fighting. Damn if the woman was tough, and Tiffany always had a fondness for a pretty or handsome face who could keep going strong in a fight. It was a shame Aisha just didn't go that way. The tabloids always linked her to men, anyway. Ah, well, a shame.

Although, watching her made Tiffany remember her own hurts. She put a hand to the right side of her rib cage and kept it there. There was going to be some really impressive bruising there in a few hours.

Tiffany's sense if fair play wouldn't let her start unloading on a woman who hadn't even made it to her feet after a rope break.

"Darlin', you sure you want to keep doing this dance?" the cowgirl asked, her voice oddly gentle, despite her choice of words.
She didn't know what she would do if Aisha would say no and pleaded out. But, Tiffany felt like she should try to give the former Rumble Rose a way out if she was feeling too injured to go on...

Tiffany was right about that much - Dixie would never forgive Aisha for tapping out to that. It would pretty much kill her entire wrestling career on the spot - if it was that easy to bring her down in her debut, she'd never be able to get any real respect in this league, never been able to look Dixie in the eye and stare her down. She didn't have plans on losing, but she sure as hell couldn't lose like that.

She straightened out and made it to her feet, nodding back Tiffany's way, glad she was a good sport. Not a trait everyone shared, even back with the Roses. Candy Cane loved sticking that spiky heel of hers into a back as you were getting up, and she'd even whacked a few people with guitars. While Aisha talked a lot of trash no matter who she was fighting, she tried to keep it clean after the bell rang. Mostly. These days.

"Pfft. You must've hit your head while your were trying to get that move right, saying stuff like that." Aisha stood up all the way and raised her fists, getting back into her stance. She winced almost every inch of the way, but she made it, ignoring all her body's protests.

"I could dance all night." She curled her finger at Tiffany. "Come on with it, girl."

Tiffany nodded. It looked like Aisha was going to go down swinging. That was something the stubborn Texan respected, a lot. For someone coming back to the ring after a long time away, the diva had done well, really well. A few weeks or months of training and Aisha would be kicking ass like it was going out of style.

"Well, it looks like this night has you all tired out, sugar." Tiffany said, striding towards Aisha. "Don't worry though, cause I'm about to put you to bed!"

Once near Aisha, the cowgirl would throw a front kick at the former Rose's stomach, trying to double her over. Then she would fit the other woman's head between her thighs, while locking her arms around Aisha's waist.
The crowd roared, knowing Tiffany was at her most dangerous here. Not only did her powerbombs rank high on a fan poll of 'moves to avoid at all costs' but both of her Blond Bomber finishing moves came out of this position!
For this occasion, Tiffany decided on the classic, original version of the move, a double powerbomb. Gathering her strength, Tiffany took a deep breath....then would attempt to lift Aisha up onto her shoulders!

Aisha recognized the movements. She saw the signs. When Tiffany lashed out with her kick and struck her hard in the stomach with the point of her toe, she knew exactly what this was leading up to - a powerbomb. And she didn't have the first clue on how to stop her from setting it up.

She was far too slow to block it, so when it struck her stomach, she had no choice but to bend over as the air was sent flying out of her lungs. Sure enough, her head was stuffed in between Tiffany's twin tree trunks, and she felt a powerful pair of thighs closing in on her skull. Not the start of good things.

She didn't have to wait long for the payoff, either - Tiffany lifted her up and treated Aisha to a first-class view of the arena, holding her up with amazing ease. There'd be about half a second before the drop, and unless something happened, the end of the match - Aisha didn't have a hurricanrana in her, either, which left just one option she could think of. Risky, but then, being a wrestler always was, wasn't it?

Aisha went for it at the last second and tried to push off Tiffany's strapping shoulders. It was a long shot, and a move she'd never actually done in a match, but she going for a sunset flip, trying to land on her backside, grab Tiffany by the legs, and slam her down hard.

And it was just the tip of the iceberg. If this worked, she had one more trick to pull...

Once she had Aisha up on her shoulders, Tiffany allowed herself a grin of triumph. Once up here, the only place at Aisha could go was down.

She steeled herself to begin Aisha's final plunge. It was at that moment that the other woman moved. The diva pushed herself down, off of Tiffany's shoulders, and out of her grasp. Before she could react, Aisha pulled on her legs, toppling the Texas Titan over into the sunset flip!
"What-?!" Tiffany exclaimed, stunned by both the impact of hitting the canvas, and the unexpected suddenness of Aisha's counter.

Aisha's fans roared at the reversal, cheering her escape!

The fans were cheering, but they should've saved their breath. She wasn't done yet. Not even close.

She'd never executed the move like this before, but she was in a good position for, so why not? What better way to start her comeback tour than with a strong dose of nostalgia for all the die-hard fans? Besides, she'd been waiting to this for years. On Dixie, of course, but Tiffany's accent was close enough to tide her over for the time being.

"Girl, I'm-a make you feel shame!" She fell to the side and grabbed hold of Tiffany's ankles, securing one side with her scissoring legs and the other with her grasping hands. From there, it was just a simple matter of straightening out and putting Tiffany's flexibility to the test and splitting her as wide as she'd go. All for the audience's approval, of course, as they watched her try on an oldie but a goodie. "Hell Crusher!"

Maybe it wasn't fair to break out the heavy artillery on a good girl like Tiffany. Aisha tended to save this move for the opponents that really got under her skin. But was always about the crowd, and she couldn't let them go home with any old finish.
