Tiffany vs. Dmitri - East Meets West

That actually wasn't bad advice. His punches surely weren't working.

He hit her dead on, but aside from stunning her for all of half a second, it didn't do any real damage, and she gave back much harder than she took. Her hook cracked him hard on the face and brought him down on one knee grabbing the ropes for much-needed support. Going blow for blow with her was definitely not the best idea, even with his speed. It was quality versus quantity. The speed of hits wouldn't matter if just one of her hits outclassed any of his combos.

He decided he might as well give it a try, and he pushed off the ropes to go towards her, raising up his left leg for a snap kick, then quickly shooting it back down and swinging out with a right roundhouse kick instead, going for her side.

*Head, watch your head, girl!* Tiffany mentally yelled at herself as she saw Dmitri's leg come up.

She had sent him reeling with a blow of her own, but he was coming back with a kick. Tiffany brought her arms up to block the kick aimed at her head.
Only there wasn't a kick to the head. She gave a grunt of pain as Dmitri's foot crashed into her side, sending her down to one knee. This was definitely not where she wanted to be, taking these hard kicks from a revitalized martial artist!

Hey, she wanted kicks, so kicks where what she was getting.

That one worked better than he imagined, too, bringing her down right into good striking distance. What he had in mind wouldn't be pretty, but there was no way around it - again, holding back wouldn't work, not like last time. He had to treat her just like he would a man, even if that was a nearly impossible thing to picture. It meant giving her everything he had, which, while it wasn't too much, was a lot more than people often gave him credit for.

He took a step forward and jumped in the air, swinging his legs out to try and get her with his own finishing move - a scissor kick, rocking her head from both sides in one deft movement. If it didn't put her down, it would definitely give her a headache in the morning.

Tiffany looked up and saw Dmitri closing in.
*Oh hell, here it comes.* she thought to herself.

The martial artist closed in, kicking out with one leg first then the other. Thinking fast the cowgirl scooted backwards, removing her head from the guillotine-like maneuver that was Dmitri's finisher.
Still moving backwards, Tiffany got to her feet leaning against the ropes.
"Close..." she murmured.

The leg went up while the other one went down, a sure-fire pin in the making. Dmitri may not have been the strongest man on the Tension roster, but he could always rely on his speed and technique to come through for him when nothing else would. Most of the Tension guys were big, bulky men with a lot of upper body power, but he had his own niche to fill.

Of course, that power behind his attacks wouldn't matter if they missed. And this one did.

She jumped back, getting out of the way at the last moment and make him cut through the air. He fell on his back, awkward, and found himself staring up at the lights as the shock went through him.

The blond looked on as Dmitri crashed down to the mat.
*Don't just stand there girl! Get going!* she told herself.

Striding forward, Tiffany would reach down, trying to pull Dmitri back up by his arm and head. The cowgirl would try to make she to be positioned behind him once he was back on his feet. Then, turning her body so that it was sideways to his, Tiffany would reach between Dmitri's legs while cupping her other hand under his chin. Afterwards, with a grunt of effort, the tall Texan would attempt to lift Dmitri onto her shoulders, facing up to the lights, attempting to place her lighter opponent in a torture rack submission hold. The hold was the starting point for her yet unseen finisher, The Blonde Bomber v2, but after hefting an opponent into the air, the cowgirl would need a moment to gather herself before starting the move....

That could have gone better. Definitely.

Dmitri started to get up, rubbing his backside as he went. That was a hard fall, though not too surprising. He had been practicing that move every since he started taking matches more seriously, but it was still very reliant on his opponents being out of it - which, apparently, Tiffany wasn't. Hardly a major loss, he'd just have to work on the timing, but-

Before Dmitri had the chance to dwell on it any further, she moved in from behind and scooped him up, lifting him with her incredible strength and laying him across her long shoulders, nearly breaking him in two as he cried out. The pain seared down his spine like lightning, and all he could do was thrash about, twisting where he could in vain.

*Ok, got him in the rack, now just need to set myself and I'll take Bruce Lee here for a ride he won't forget!* Tiffany thought to herself.
She listened to Dmitri yell out in pain as the rack forced his spine to bend over her shoulders. The cowgirl managed to contain the martial artist's body as it thrashed and squirmed.

Then the Texan took a step forward, hopping into the air. In the brief moment she was airborne, Tiffany used her hands to push Dmitri's head and legs in a clockwise direction, causing him to spin in the air. The cowgirl would clasp his lower body as she landed in a sitting position, Dmitri's legs draped over her shoulders as his upper body came down to the mat as she ended the move in a sit out powerbomb.
The crowd let out a shocked gasp and a collective "Ooohhh!" as the move hit as Tiffany looked to demonstrate that even though she wasn't the biggest of the power girls in the AFW anymore, the Texan still had strength and wrestling skill in abundance.

The second version of the Blonde Bomber also had the advantage of landing in a pinning position for Tiffany, who kept Dmitri's legs raised up on her shoulders, which in turn kept his shoulders on the mat. The ref knelt down, hand slapping the mat while calling "One!"

At first, Dmitri just thought she was going to try and make him tap out. He was strongly considering it, after all. It wasn't like he could thrash his way out, though that wasn't due to a lack of trying. She was just too powerful to escape, and unless she just got tired of holding him - not likely - Dmitri was trapped.

But no - she had something more grandiose in mind. She tossed him off her shoulders, and for one, previous moment, Dmitri was completely free of all that pain...and she jerked him back down into an inside power mob, putting all her weight into it and shaking the ring. It even went straight into a pinfall. How convenient.

"Two...!"

Dmitiri twitched beneath her, but that was the most movement he could muster aside from the occasional blink. He was done. Well-done. He'd put up a long fight, but against the sort of power Tiffany had...

"3...!"

The Texan held a hand up in the air counting along with the ref and crowd, her fingers keeping count
As the referee called three, Tiffany moved Dmitri's legs off of her shoulders so she could move out from under him, letting the man stretch out fully along the canvas.

Getting to her feet briefly, she raised a clenched fist above her head in triumph for the crowd, giving Dmitri a moment to recover as she posed for the cheering fans.
Going back to him, she knelt down on one knee next to him.
"Hey, you ok?" she asked with a grin.
