Valley Doll vs. Chris Morgan - No Blonde Jokes

Sure enough, up she went. Valley expected no less. Heel or not, she was giving up one hell of a match, and they'd only just begun. "Whenever you're ready."

Valley had a target to work with, now; Morgan's knees were going to be hurting, and the best way to win this would be to focus on them, not only hurting Chris, but slowing down an already slow opponent, degrading her mobility until nothing remained. Brutal tactics, yes, but Valley was putting all her cards on table. Nothing less would do.

Valley charged toward Chris once again, moving at full speed, hair streaming behind her as she dashed. Dropping down, she went into a baseball slide, her foot shooting across the floor as she tried to hit the golden-haird Goliath in her ankle.

*Here she comes..* Chris thought as her opponent threw herself into one of those high speed runs.
The smaller woman dropped down, sliding across the canvas towards one of her legs.

*Now, damn you!* she silently raged at herself to begin moving her body.
Shifting to the side slightly, Chris also widened her stance, spreading her legs so that Valley would be sliding between them instead of into one of her ankles. She would also bend down, her hands shooting down to where she guessed Valley Doll's neck would be, trying to catch hold of it in a two handed grasp, which would draw a count from the ref to release a chokehold. Then, in a show of strength, she would lift the Slamazon up from her lying down position into the air before turning towards the nearest corner and attempt to heave her bodily into the turnbuckles, back first before the ref finished his count.

She managed to see the baseball slide coming? That...that was actually a first. She'd done the move a dozen times a dozen times, and this was the first one anyone ever managed to dodge.

If the situation hadn't been so threatening, Valley might have made a joke about getting between Morgan's legs. Being choked would make that difficult to. Valley could almost feel the momentum shifting like a living, palpable thing, as the giantess squeezed the life out of her and started lifting her up, legs dangling and swinging about as she rose. She got the sweet release when she was thrown into the corner, arms akimbo as she went, and hit it back-first. By some remote miracle, she was able to hold onto the turnbuckle instead of sliding down, managing to stand up...but just barely. And she wasn't about to do much else. She would need about half a minute to recover.

A half minute more than she might have.

The problem with fighting a faster opponent who was also smart was the fact that you normally got so few chances to have a stunned, unmoving target that you had to take the ones that popped up, no matter how badly your legs wanted to take a bit and try and rub the pain out of them.

She made her way over to Valley as quickly as she could and squatted down, grasping on the second rope on either side of the corner.
"Alright, let's see if I can still leave a girl breathless.." she quipped, a bit of humor that had maybe been jarred loose by the smaller blonde's kick tumbling free.
Then she would start to drive her shoulder into the pit of blonde's toned stomach, her leg muscles pushing in time with her arms pulling, both forces combining to propel Chris's body with a startling amount of force despite the close quarters.
The statuesque blonde would keep repeating the motion, her shoulder continually digging into the former Slamazon's midsection, trying to force more and more air out of her opponent's body. The crowd, which had gone silent after Chris's impressive display of strength, would, for the rows closest to the ring, at least, be able to hear the impact of each thrust.

After about six thrusts, Chris would stop her assault, releasing the ropes while taking a step back, and then another. And then another, and another, until she got to the middle of the ring. The crowd, which could never be silenced permanently, began to cry out in warning as Chris got a running start, looking to leap into the air and slam her body into the cornered Valley Doll's. Her impressive chest would catch the other blonde at about face height, the rest of her body attempting to drive even more air out of the tanned woman's chest and stomach.

Looking down, Valley didn't even need to see Chris coming. She could hear it well enough. Each one of the steps from the titan terror gave a strong vibration, getting closer and closer. Incoming pain.

Valley smirked at the comment. Even though the next minute or so was likely to be quite painful, it was good to see Morgan wasn't completely cold about this, coming out of her shell, enjoying herself. If there was one thing Valley hated, it was wrestling with someone who didn't seem interested in having a good time or putting on a good show, just looking to pin it and win it. Despite her absence, Morgan still seemed to have respect for the craft, and that had to be admired.

Valley had little time to admire anything, though, as Chris went straight to work, hammering her middle with vicious shoulder thrusts, the crowd wincing at every blow. Valley had a strict routine of situps, her stomach wasn't an outright six-pack, but still well-toned and strong, but none of that mattered with the incredible force Chris was bringing.

She gasped. Gagged, Choked. Squawked. Squealed. Heaved.

There was only a respite when Morgan started to step back, leaving Valley hanging there while she set up the big finisher, the crowd reaching a full furor as she went. After the moment passed, she came running at Valley like a blonde freight train, and there was no way Valley could muster the strength move out of the way.

...but, then again, falling doesn't take any real strength, does it?

When Morgan went airborne, Valley let go of the turnbuckle and just...sat down.

"Houufgh!"
The undignified, gasping groan came from Chris's lips as she unwittingly drove her own midsection into the top turnbuckle.
*Bad things happen when you leave the ground, Chris. File this as number fifty two for reasons both feet never, ever leave the mat.* she mentally admonished herself.

The taller American slumped against the corner, her legs on either side of Valley's sitting body, arms draped over the top rope, chest heaving as she panted to try to get lost air back in her body. If the lithe blonde didn't move to take advantage of the situation, Chris would rouse herself and push away from the corner, one hand pressed to her belly as she staggered away....

Amazing what the simplest little things could do with the right timing.

Chris had a nasty landing, crashing on the unforgiving turnbuckle instead of a soft body and taking it hard. She slumped down, dazed, above Valley, giving her a precious window. She needed to make some space, and quick. she had a moment's advantage, but she was still in some dire straights, the advantage still firmly on Chris's side.

Wanting to get the taller blonde as far away from her as possible, Valley drew her legs up to her chest, then shot them out, kicking Chris hard in the stomach and bracing her back against the ropes for some extra support.

If this was outside the ring, Chris might have been a little offended at how quickly Valerie wanted to to put some distance between them. The other woman's feet crashed hard into her stomach, driving her out of the corner with a groan of pained distress.

Staggering back, the former Wrestle Angel held one hand over her stomach for a moment, doubled over slightly, catching the breath that had fled from her body temporarily. Once she had it, Chris resolved to go back on the offensive. Heading back towards the corner, she left her midsection intentionally open, trying to provoke another double kick from the Slamazon as she faked reaching for something higher up, like her arm. However, if the Californian fell for the ruse, Chris would catch her legs and attempt to use them to drag Valley away from the refuge of the corner, towards the center of the ring....

Valley's legs always came through for her in a pinch, and this time was no different. Her double kick was a move of desperation, just wanting to get some room to recoup, and it did the job well. Chris was sent staggering back to the middle of the ring, giving Valley some time to grab the middle rope and start to pull up, ignoring the protest from her aching stomach.

But time was still on a premium. Chris was already coming at her, closing in fast. Her legs still had plenty of work left to do.

When Chris was close enough, Valley did a quick jump to her side and tried to catch her in a scissor leg takedown, wrapping her leg around the Colossal Californian's knee, trying to force her down into the turnbuckle one again.

Well, Chris was partly right, Valley was going to use her legs. The problem with that was, she knew a myriad of different ways to use them from positions that were totally disadvantageous for her.
The titan felt her knee buckle as the smaller woman's leg tucked itself around it. The result was a small tumble for her.

A tumble that ended with her face smacking against the second turnbuckle, that is.

*That's the second time she's smacked my face. Before this is done I'm going to have pay her back for that.* she thought dazedly as she slumped, kneeling in the corner, face resting against the offending padded turnbuckle. The crowd cheered Valley Doll's clever escape and Chris's subsequent faceplant.
