Deathbird vs. Xuan Lee

Xuan didn't need to explain in how her master...never came back. Deathbird would cover her mouth in silent shock and softly said, "Oh...I...I'm sorry. I guess he was a father to you, was he?"

--Woah....Sudden attitude change...--

"You could say he was.It was hard to witness him get stabbed by the sharp things flying back up.If only...If only he was granteed a few seconds more to escape." Xuan had only opened up to one other person.She understood why Deathbird was as mean as she was,but it still wasn't right...

(I know, Deathbird hardly shows her true feelings.)

Deathbird only paused after hearing Xuan's story. She didn't know what to say for her head was still clouded with anger and pain from her past, but this was different since there was someone else who actually understood her. "What did you do afterwards? I know for one thing, you had a better day than me after losing someone you care about."

Xuan went on in response to the question. "The Guild went on without a master.I mad 5th best theif.A mission I was sent on,it was a trap." She gripped the scarf she wore right at her collar bone. "It was a trap,and I ended up having to wear this,thing.You wouldn't believe me but....It speaks to me.It puts me down,and when I try to take it off.It forces me not to." It was hard to explain,but that was the best she could do.

Deathbird would glance to the scarf that was at Xuan's collar bone as the thief explained further. "How is that possible? Isn't all just in your head? Because for me after the incident, I got stuck with it." She would try to reach her hand to help pull that scarf off curiously.

--Xuan!--

She gasped softly,seeing the hand comming towards the scarf.Xuan grabbed it,looking into Deathbird's eyes. "Don't....Don't try it." Deathbird was most likely right,about it all being in her head.But,whatever was there was such a powerful and controling force....No way could she have resisted it for so long. "I'm sorry,miss." Xuan apologized.

As Deathbird was getting close to grab Xuan's scarf, she can see the thief grabbing onto it and beg Deathbird not to try. Seeing how serious it was to her, Deathbird nodded and backed her hand away. "It's okay. If it means that much to you then I shouldn't bother with it." With a sigh, she faced the lockers on the other wall and added, "My own voice in my head is like my conscience also. Ever since the incident, the voice always told me I can trust no one since no one can help me."

8uan's hand went back to the scarf,she gripped it tightly and looked down.She and Deathbird both seemed broken,hurt,distant.But,what she just told Xuan....That was a difference. "Miss,there's always going to be someone there for you.You just have to look hard enough.If it makes you feel better...I-I'm here for you." She promised

Deathbird wiped her eyes some more as she looked down. But when Xuan said that she would be there for her, Deathbird slowly looked up at Xuan, unsure of what to say. Then she would say, "How can I be sure? I...I didn't think anyone can understand me...No one did before...and I..." Tears started filling her eyes more as she felt disheartened over this situation.

She looked over when Deathbird started to make sounds of....4adness.She saw the other girl begin to cry and couldn't help but shed a few tears of her own. "Why...Why are you crying? You have more experience a-and seniority than I do." She punches her lightly in the arm. "You should be tougher than I am,Deathbird."
