Ok so I tend to get bored easily with doing things the normal way so I kept trying to think of an idea for an interesting match that could be good or bad.

A team of 3-4 vs 3-4 people enter a warehouse or big place in general at opposite sides, the idea is capture the enemy team. Each participant are given a pair of handcuffs and are set to defeat the other team however you choose to achieve this. The trick is that you must beat your opponent via pin, submission, K.O., or hentai fall (this way every combat style is permitted allowing anyone to play). Once said opponent is defeated they are handcuffed and taken captive until only one team remains uncaptured. This seemed like a fun idea to me because it adds a new demension to the matches, adding stealth, cunning, and tactics as a team. You could attempt to split up your opponents team and pick them off one by one, take them on as a group, or perhaps use under handed tactics to turn your opponents against each other (i.e. seduction, bribes, etc). The winners would most likely be able to do as they please with the losers or something in that regard (more interested in how fun the match would be than the outcome). A hardcore stipulation could be added to allow use of make shift weapons about the warehouse as well as the idea of hiding in the shadows for the right time to take an opponent down or seduce them if they seem vulnerable. Please give your feedback on this idea, if it gets good response I might try to set it up. Again I'm sorry I come up with weird things when bored.

Be careful with 'multiple characters threads', you may think that writting a thread with 3 characters is triple the work but no. It is actually MORE work.

You could do that if you wrote the entire thing yourself, of it you made it 2-4 characters. I think as it is that with four characters in a match you can hear the rattling of the medium starting to destroy itself. Also, how can you get bored with stuff? I think straight ahead standard matches are the most interesting, because they provide a nice backdrop for what you put into them.

Edit: ^ Someone more interested in characters than wrestling, so take with a grain of salt.

I meant bored at work lol I come up with odd ideas that sound fun until I take a serious thought to it. Though I need to be more creative in my matches, i believe in the saying if you're bored then you're boring so that falls on me.

It works with 2 users controlling 3 characters, 4, whatever, depending on the size of the team. It's a rather good idea, because it can give the multi-character users the opportunity to play with everyone at once ( lol ), but, as Kitten said, it's ( 3x + y ) the work.

multi character matches tend to be better in theory or real life then RP.

I think the RP starts to fall apart (or become way too much work) when you have two or more of the following:

1) more then two wrestlers actively competing at one time (if the wrestler is waiting outside for a tag, they are not active)
2) more then two members RPing in the match
3) more then two sides (ie. triple threat, four corner tag matches or even royal rumbles)
4) more then 6 characters actively or passively involved (ie wrestling or waiting for a tag)

Its still possible (eg. I've seen 2 v 2 tag matches with 3 or 4 members) and I think if you have 3 members that talk regularly, you can occasionally disregard number 2... However in general, the more of the 4 listed above that you have all bundled in one thread, the more likely the RP will be to fail.

e.g. the Entropy Triple threat title match. Even if it goes well for a while, something may happen and the match has to be cut short.

Yeah, I was all set to call you wrong, Kel, but then I remembered that our match exploded. It was going well up UNTIL then, though, and I blame extenuating circumstances more than our ability to hold the match together.

But yes, having more of them 4 only increases the likelihood that something will go wrong (it doesn't guarantee that fact).


The idea suggested here would have to be carefully planned out and might still suffer from the curse of 4
