Speed vs Powah! Adrian Kytes vs Cecilia Northman

"GAAAH!" Adrian screamed as Cecilia's boot smacked across her face, she felt as though she was back to square one, and having had victory so close too... struggling back to her feet to check that she wasn't bleeding either she tried to initiate another grapple with the Swede, this time working on her left arm with a wrist lock instead of her right.

Cecilia was expecting Adrian to go for her right arm again, but she didn't she went for her left instead, and put it in a wrist lock, Cecilia struggled trying to over power Adrian with her left arm only, "I'm Not gonna lose!" Cecilia yelled at her, as she tried to bring her in close enough to send a kick at her gut.

"God dammit..." Adrian coughed out after Cecilia's kick sent her face first to the mat again, breathless. She was down one arm and she was still kicking her ass. What am I suppossed to do? she thought to herself. She already knows my strategy and can just power out of everything I do... she moped, feeling the crippling sense of self-doubt wash over her once more.

Cecilia would grab a hold Adrian's hair wit her left hand and pull her up, and place her hand in between her thighs, and bend forward wrapping only her left arm around her waist, Damn..this isn't going to work...Cecilia thought to herself, she was strong but to be able to lift Adrian up and slam her down with a pained left arm, wasn't going to work to well, "You did good Adrian" Cecilia said as she would attempt to pull Adrian upside down and hold her pressed against her body, with one arm, gritting her teeth and using all her strength to just hold her up.

Adrian was pulled upside down, but with only the one arm holding her in place she began to wobble in Cecilia's tentative grasp. If the blood wasn't rushing to her head she'd say or at least think that only a few people could do this to anyone, not just her, anyone.

As for her escape plan well since she was upside down she couldn't just get Cecilia to drop her, she'd land on her head, but what she could do was first tighten her thighs around the Swede's head, Adrenaline pouring all around her body from being held upside down, she was acting on instinct, all depressing thoughts had temporarily spilled out of one ear.

Gripping her head tightly with her legs, she'd attempt to lean upwards a bit, using her hands to hold onto Cecilia's, before flipping back and planting her hands on the ground for a hurricanrana.

Adrian wobbling made it very difficult for Cecilia to hold her, "Dammit...hold still" she told Adrian, that was however before her head was trapped between Adrian's thighs, the tight hold on her head forced her to wince and grit her teeth, "Damn" Cecilia muttered out to herself under her breath, Ariana suddenly leaned up, Cecilia was then flipped over Adrian and crashed down with her back against the mat, letting out a resounding thud!.

Adrian grunted with the effort it took to flip Cecilia down to the mat, but she couldn't let her advantage slip away from her again, and with a deep breath tried to hook the Swede's neck with her leg, pull her left arm through the cosplayer's legs and hook her right leg over, trying again for the Kyte Strings, but switching arms, hoping that she wouldn't be able to punch her off with her right or at least take out both her arms.

She just needed to win, then it would make up for her tag match in Rebecca's eyes, she could do things on her own, she didn't have to rely on the amazon for her own saftey anymore...

Cecilia laid on her back, a bit winded and stunned for taking Adrian's hurricanrana, "DAMMIT!" she yelled out when she felt Adrian lock in the same submission as before, and there was nothing Cecilia could do to stop it, what followed was scream of pain from Cecilia, "AAAAGHH!" as she felt her arm wrenched and twisted in a very painful way, she had no way to get out off this hold, the first time had been a fluke in Cecilia's opinion wildly swinging her fist at Adrian, several times, and managing to get her off that way, only now she could barley move her right arm, she had no way out but held on for a good while, before she began tapping with her right arm, and even that was painful to do.

Adrian winced at Cecilia's screams of pain, trying not to let guilt affect her as she kept the hold on until she heard a bell ring. Throwing up her hands in the air in victory, releasing her opponent from her finishing hold, she collapsed forward after the rush of adrenaline that had kept her from being piledriven into the canvas faded and with it all the aches and pains returning.

Trying to pull herself away from Cecilia to give her some space of her own to recover she panted heavily "I...I won?" she asked in disbelief, it had come close to going the other way on so many occasions especially early on, she couldn't really believe she pulled it off.

"I guess so Scardey...I mean Adrian...congratulations...looks like I won't be hearing your story now" Cecilia said a bit disappointed that she lost, both of her hands were in immense pain, but she could still use her left a bit to get up on her feet, she went over to Adrian and grabbed a hold of her hand and raised it , allowing her to bask and show off Adrian's win against her to the crowd.
