I also own a zapdos, but I don't put it in my team.

Not all pokÃmon were created equal, some are clearly more powerful than others. So when people battle over wi-fi to make fights fair, they have divided pokÃmons in Tiers.

Tiers are like weight divisions for pokÃmon.

Zapdos and all the true legendaries are placed in the highest Tier, the UBER tier. Most people in battling forums refuse to fight against teams with Ubers, and nearly every tournament ever held bans the use of Ubers and Legendaries since they pretty much destroy any sense of strategy the game may have. Battles between Ubers are mostly coin tosses.

Nobody says you can't have your Zapdos in your team and play the game with it. I have Reshiram in my team for the inside game. I was just teasing you, mocking how some people get really fundamentalist at what pokÃmon you can and you can't use, even when playing all by yourself.

But now you made me explain the joke and it is no longer funny.

I don´t have a kitten, but i have a cat, he is pretty old now so i don´t think one can call him kitten, my father named him Wasa, the last name of a Swedish king from long ago, he still is a cute as ever.


I like water pokemon though ..... i mean they you know swim and stuff, and that is totally cool........well................*Lunarwolf uses dig to hide*

I have owned at least 1 version of every generation of the main-stream RPGs for the portables or borrowed (only thing that falls under this is FR/LG, but they do count as 3rd gen, of which I have sapphire)

I've usually always started at least my first game of each gen with the water starter, the exception being Sapphire, where I decided to go Treecko, loved it...From 4th gen on, my goal is to have at least one of each starter from each gen, just because I enjoy having them. The only starter I can honestly say I hated and still hate is Chikorita...

As far as the whole Zapdos/Arcanine argument is concerned, Zapdos is undoubtably a legendary. However, he does fall under the category of legendaries that are acceptable in online battles, as are most of the secondary legendaries (not the proper term for the usual trio(s) that you hunt down that are usually not part of the main storyline). Arcanine is not in any sense a legendary (as has been pointed out). Interestingly enough though, the first gen did hark on it as being rare (probably due to the firestone, with a similar implication being put on Ninetails and the eeveelutions). As every pokemon is given the title along the lines of "The Electric Mouse Pokemon" and such, Arcanine was given the title "The Legendary Pokemon" but is in fact not a legendary. Now with each gen there is at least one "family" that is considered pseudo-legendary, in that they have the base stats above 600 (I believe that is the cut off, don't feel like going to bulbapedia right now) and are usually a 3-member family. These are:
-The Dragonite Family
-The Tyranitar Family
-The Metagross Family
-The Salamance Family
-The Garchomp Family
-The Hydreigon Family

Now I may not have a kick-ass team when it comes to any of my games, but I always have enjoyment putting them together. So if any of you care to be schooled, bring it whether it be in battle or with knowledge XD. (I am calling you out Jizzelle...there can be only ONE!!!!)
