Megumi Mutoh vs. Maria Tempesta - Sucker for Pain

Throwing Maria over with the dragon suplex, Megumi would try to maintain herself in the bridging pin, but after two, Maria managed to kick out, forcing her to release her from the position. But, Megumi was certain that Maria was reeling from the suplex, which made it easier to achieve victory later.

Getting back up on her knees, still breathing hard, she saw that Maria had flopped onto her front, and she saw an opportunity to go for another attack, this time a submission hold. She would grab onto one of Maria's legs, clamping them between hers as she would reach out to her chin, clasping her hands together before pulling back, looking to subject the masked wrestler to an STF.

"I'm not letting you rest!" Megumi said as she would wrench Maria's head as hard as possible while her legs would stretch on Maria's leg in the double-pronged attack of the STF.

Maria's chest was pumping as she managed to escape from the pinfall. Her back was sore from that impact, her knee was still throbbing with pain, and her body felt like it was being battered to pieces. Still, she wasn't done yet...though she was definitely not in great shape either.

No sooner had she thought this when she was rolled over onto her front, one of her legs scissored between Maria's leg scissoring around her own as she felt the other girl's chest pressing against her back. Next thing she knew, Megumi's arms were locked under her chin, and her head was being wrenched back in a painful STF.

"AUGH....AAAAAAUGH!" Maria cried as her neck was stretched painfully. Her legs kicked at the mat, but aside from pawing weakly at Megumi's arms, there was little she could do. She was trapped, and at the mercy of the angry Combat Genius.

Hearing the scream of pain from Maria, Megumi would tighten her hold, making sure to pull her head back as hard as she could while wrenching hard on her leg in the STF. Besides pawing weakly at her hands, it seemed that Maria was unable to do anything, which gave the former Wrestle Angel more opportunity to keep it up, and she would keep applying pressure in the hold, looking to weaken her, or if she was lucky, get her to submit.

"What's wrong? Can't take it anymore? Just tap out and admit defeat," Megumi told her opponent in a matter-of-fact fashion. But then, she couldn't maintain the hold forever as her hands turned sweaty, which made it hard for Megumi to keep her grip on Maria's chin. So, she would shift her grip into something else as she would drape her forearms over Maria's neck instead. This would allow her to continue applying pressure in the STF, and she knew that Maria would be greatly weakened by this if not outright submitting to her.

"Nnnngh...nnnn...s..screw...you....chica..." Maria groaned as Megumi continued to stretch away at her. Her bronzed body was starting to sweat under the strain of the hold, and her mask began to darken as rivulets of moisture ran down her forehead. Her breathing was laboured, and she doubted she could resist this for much longer.

Slowly, she dug her knees into the mat and began to crawl towards the ropes, hoping to snag the bottom rope and force Megumi to let go. Of course, failing that, she would try something better...namely reaching back with one hand and trying to rake at Megumi's eyes to force her release...

As Megumi kept Maria trapped in the STF, she realized that her opponent started moving, and the former Wrestle Angel would try to give her head a tug in order to make it a difficult trip for her to reach the ropes. Megumi's arms were starting to strain from the hold, which made it difficult to maintain it, but she was determined to keep her opponent as long as she could, as long as she hadn't reached the ropes yet.

But, Megumi didn't factor in the fact that her opponent might try something underhanded, and before she knew it, she took an eye rake from Maria, which caused her to cry in pain, her hold around Maria's head loosening. "Uwaaghhh!!!" She immediately stopped applying pressure in the STF, letting her opponent go. She brought her hands to her face, trying to soothe the pain that came from the eye rake. This left her unable to do anything for a moment, which gave Maria an ample opportunity to fight back.

Maria felt her nails drag across Megumi's face, eliciting a cry of pain from the Combat Genius. And just like that, Megumi let her go, allowing Maria to gasp numbly as she rolled to the side, her neck and upper back throbbing after being on the receiving end of Megumi's hold. Slowly, she rolled up to a kneeling position, clutching her back, moving stiffly after everything that Megumi had put her through.

With a wordless yell, she suddenly turned and lunged at her opponent, aiming to nail her with a close-ranged clothesline before she could fully get up. She had the advantage again, and like hell she was going to lose it...

Releasing Maria from the STF, stepping away from her as she brought her hands to her face while groaning in pain, Megumi was unable to see what Maria was about to do. At the very least, she wouldn't end up blind, though this would affect her performance in this match, which would surely cost her dearly as she was unable to see Maria coming towards her with a close-ranged clothesline.

"Aarghhh!!!" Megumi took the full brunt of the clothesline and was taken down into the mat. Grimacing, she cradled her chest as she was laid out on the mat. Still unable to see clearly, things were getting harder for the Combat Genius at the moment.

Getting up to her knees, Maria glared down at Megumi, silently furious over having been at the Combat Genius' mercy just now. Not only had Megumi countered her big finish, but she had also brought the Devil's Handmaiden very close to tapping out! Although she loathed to admit it, Megumi was a very skilled, very talented wrestler...which was going to make it all the sweeter when she ground her under her heel!

She kicked her booted heel across Megumi's face, causing the audience to boo. "What, you prefer her?" she yelled at the fans. "Come on, get a load of favourite girl laid out on the mat!" So saying, she would follow up by grabbing at Megumi's pigtails and using them to ram her face hard against the mat!

Still laid out on the mat while cradling her chest, Megumi then took a boot to her face, eliciting a cry of pain from her. "Aughh!!!" Reeling from the pain, Megumi was then grabbed by her hair before her face was rammed against the mat, eliciting more cries of pain from her.

"Uaarghhh!!!"

Hurting, Megumi would try to press her palms against the mat, hoping to get back up before Maria could go on to her next attack. Gritting her teeth, the former Wrestle Angel would show her determination to her opponent, making it clear that she wasn't even close to done yet.

True to form, Megumi was still trying to fight back, and still trying to win this match. Maria almost admired her...but that didn't mean that she wasnt going to destroy her. And if it pissed off this holier than thou crowd, then she was going to enjoy doing so.

Grabbing a hold of Megumi by the hair, Maria would walk her towards the ropes, before grabbing her arm to whip her across the ring. Instead of running straight up to meet her, however, Maria would run to one of the side ropes and bounce off, hoping to come at Megumi from the side with a drop kick!
