Megumi Mutoh vs. Maria Tempesta - Sucker for Pain

Megumi tried to push herself back up, but Maria grabbed her by her hair again and pulled her back up. She groaned in pain as she was brought towards the ropes before she was flung towards the opposite ropes with an Irish whip. She knew her opponent's intention, and there was an opportunity that she could seize here.

Upon reaching the ropes, instead of rebounding from them and returning back to Maria, Megumi would stop her momentum by draping her arms around the top rope, which prevented her from rebounding back to her opponent. Having distanced herself from her opponent, the Combat Genius would take her opportunity to recover as her eyes would focus on her opponent, hoping to see an opening that she could capitalize on next.

Maria had hoped to take Megumi by surprise by coming at her from the side like this, but this time, thr Combat Genius was one step ahead. Instead of bouncing back at Maria, Megumi instead anchored herself onnthe ropes, arresting her rebound and giving herself ample time to recover. Maria glared in irritation at the Japanese girl: she wasn't going to escape so easily.

Running at Megumi, Maria wound spin to the side at the last second, grabbing the ropes and kicking her legs through them, hoping to latch them around Megumi's head from behind! If she managed this, then, with her own body hanging by her legs outside thr ropes, Maria would try to grab at Megumi's boots and stretch her against the ropes...though if she failed to grab her opponent's boots, then she would settle for the next best thing and try to flip her over the ropes outside the ring!

Resting at the ropes, Megumi kept her eyes on Maria as she approached her, but somehow, her opponent went to the side at the last second, grabbing the ropes and kicking her legs through them. Megumi tried to stop whatever Maria was doing, making sure that her opponent was unable to grab her at her boots, but with her opponent's legs latching around her head, Megumi ended up being thrown out of the ring, and crashed onto the barely padded floor outside.

"Aaarghhh!!!" Megumi cried out as she landed on the floor. Grimacing, Megumi would push herself back up, but due to her landing, she would need some time before she could think about getting back onto her feet. At the moment, she wasn't doing too great, which Maria could capitalize on if she wanted to.

Maria's natural agility came into play as she used her legs to whip Megumi out of the ring. Rolling over the ropes, she smiled, even as the crowd booed around her. Let them boo, she thought to herself as she slid out of the ring. They could hate her all they wanted, that just meant they were getting a front row seat to seeing their favourite getting destroyed.

"What's the matter, haven't had enough yet, chica?" she jeered, grabbing a hold of Megumi by the pigtails. "Come on, let's go meet your adoring fans!" Hoisting Megumi up to her feet, she would break into a run, trying to slam Megumi against the barrier, if not over it!

"Urghhh..." Groaning in pain, Megumi tried pushing herself up, but Maria already closed in and grabbed her by her hair. "Auuhh..." Feeling the stinging pain on her scalp, Megumi was hoisted up to her feet before she was then sent face first into the barricade, eliciting a cry of pain from the red-clad wrestler. "Gwarghhhh!!!"

Megumi leaned against the barricade, looking exhausted and panting. Some of the fans were encouraging her to get up, but at the moment, things were quite bad for the former Wrestle Angel. With her back facing Maria, Megumi was still in great danger.

Maria cackled fiendishly as Megumi slumped against the barricade. She had Megumi right where she wanted her: outside the ring, where she could brutalize her as much as she wanted to. This close, Megumi's fans were going nuts, yelling at Maria and cursing at her, and in the background, she heard the ref starting the countdown. Eh, she still had time to have some fun first.

Grabbing a nearby folding chair, Maria would walk back over to Megumi. "How do you like THIS chica?" she crowed, before slamming the chair down across the Japanese superstar's back. She was going to defeat Megumi tonight, she told herself, and she would make sure the Combat Genius would remember the agony of this defeat afterwards.

Still leaning against the barricade outside the ring, Megumi was struggling to recover, and she could hear the referee counting from inside the ring. She needed to get back up as fast as she could, but for the time being, she was under the mercy of her opponent, who was certainly lacking in mercy.

Then, she felt a sharp pain on her back as she was hit by Maria, who used a folding chair to attack her. "GWARGHH!!!" Megumi screamed out in agony as her back was smashed with the folding chair. She closed her eyes tightly, trying to endure the pain. The attack had greatly weakened her, leaving her helpless before her opponent.

"Uuuurghh..." Moaning in pain, Megumi struggled to at least think straight as she heard the yells of the crowd urging her to recover. At this point, she had no way of stopping what Maria would do next.

The folding chair collided with brutal efficiency, crumpling Megumi to the mat like the worthless flake that she was. The Japanese girl was now lying facedown on the mat, moaning in pain, completely at what little mercy Maria had. At this point, though, Maria figured that simply defeating Megumi wasn't enough: no, she had to freaking destroy her. After all, it was the heelish thing to do.

Mockingly blowing kisses to the booing fans, she grabbed a hold of Megumi's pigtails. "Sorry, chica, I can't help your bad taste in hair styles!" she cackled, yanking the other girl up to her feet. Without waiting for a reply, she would run forward, aiming to brutally ram Megumi face-first into the corner post, aiming to ring her head like a bell and leave her nice and stunned. If the hit connected, then she would unceremoniously roll her opponent back into the ring before starting to climb the corner post, even as the ref girl continued her countdown...

With her back throbbing painfully, Megumi was in great trouble before Maria, who then proceeded to pull her by her hair before sending her face first into the corner post. "GHUHHH!!!" The collision left Megumi disoriented, and after that, Maria went to roll her back into the ring, where Megumi stayed on the mat, unable to muster enough strength to push herself up.

"Aauuhhh..." At this point, Megumi would need some sort of miracle to make a comeback. The crowd continued calling for Megumi to get back up and fight back, but the former Wrestle Angel was having trouble doing that. "Grkhhh..." Gritting her teeth, she tried to focus on her recovery, but Maria would certainly take advantage of her current situation at this rate.

The crowd was outraged now, and Maria was reveling in their impotent fury. Blowing them mocking kisses, Maria climbed up the corner post, giving her ass a mocking slap at the fans as she reached the top. Looking down, she saw Maria sprawled on the mat, barely moving and barely conscious...practically asking to be hit by Maria's finisher. The Devil's Handmaiden was more than happy to oblige.

Turning to face away from Megumi, Maria raised an arm to the crowd. "BEHOLD THE FALLING STAR!" she shouted, before leaping back, executing a Shooting Star technique, flipping in midair to come down towards Megumi in a big splash...one that Megumi had less than seconds to try to counter or avoid...
