[ONE] Round One Match: Melody Serperior vs Makie Akamatsu

"...figures", Melody reacted towards the kickout, but thought that, if she could at some point catch Makie of guard, this tactic might pay off!

Promptly getting off her opponent at her angry request, Melody immidietely rushed towards the ropes to rebound. Since Makie wasn't that damaged, but rattled, she assumed her opponent would be up by that point, and would try and nail a clotheline on Makie's head!

Makie was irritated at this point, an irritation that she knew wasn't going to help her in the long run. Pushing her negative feelings into the background again, Makie rose rolled up to her feet, eager to get to grips with her foe again, knowing now that against someone as fast as Melody she couldn't afford to slow down.

She was soon proven right. No sooner was she up than Melody came at her with a whistling clothesline. Started, Makie raised an arm, barely managing to block it before it could impact her throat or chest. The force behind it, though, was still enough to knock her off her feet, wheeling her backwards and sending her flat on her back. "UGH!"

Despite Melody managing to sent Makie off her feet again, Melody knew felt that her forearm didn't connect with Makie's head. Pinning her right now would definitely not yield any results.

As such, she continued her run towards the ropes on the other side of the ring. Rather than rebounding, she would immidiately jump on the second rope.

Her feet would leave the rope within a split second of them landing there, as the green-hair would jump off and backflip, hoping to land on Makie with her body with a Springboard Moonsault.

Makie was still a little stunned after being floored like that, but given that she had managed to block that clothesline, she wasn't going to complain too much. Looking up for her opponent, Makie quickly found her-- diving off the rope at her in a moonsault.

Sweating, Makie rolled, hoping to dodge the moonsault in time.l and roll to her feet...

Despite thinking that her clotheline did have enough impact behind it to keep Makie down for a few seconds, the girl managed to roll out of the way of the Moonsault!

As a natural results, Melody came crushing down on her torso, screaming as her chest and stomach stinging from the impact of the fall. She didn't have time to lose, however. Makie might've been up to her feet by this point, and her opponent was unlikely to let this opprotunity for the attack to escape!

Makie felt the tremendous impact behind her, and heard Melody's scream, just as she rolled clear. That was a lucky break, she told herself, though really, that was also what Melody got for going for a Moonsault so early in the match.

Rolling to her feet, Makie wasted no time in running to the ropes, bouncing off and hurling herself at Melody. If she was just getting to her feet, then Makie would leap up at her legs first for a hurricanrana; otherwise she would run past Melody, bounce off the ropes again, and come back for a leg drop.

Melody barely got to her feet as Makie rushed at her. Not managing to realize the attack her opponent was going to do on time, Melody's head ended up trapped between her opponent's legs for a few moments  as she was harshly taken down on her back and head with a hurricanrana!

Melody would attempt to get up after the move, but since she was the one who took the attack, Makie was likely going to follow up from the hurricanrana, the green-hair being completely at her opponent's mercy at the moment.

There was a satisfying crash as Makie brought Melody down. Hopping back up to her knees and to her feet, Makie raised her hands, each one forming a V-sign to her fans as she got them to cheer her on further. Grinning, Makie extended her arms...

...and then suddenly flipped backwards, aiming to backflip over Melody, rebound off the mat, and bounce back at her for an accelerated leg drop! She had the advantage, and she was going to use as best she could right now, hammering her opponent as long as she was able.

Melody heard the crowd cheering for Makie while she tried to get to her feet...

Until suddenly, she saw Makie jump over her backwards! Melody thought that her opponent missed with a move or the like, but it couldn't have been further from the truth as Makie jumped at her, landing her leg across Melody's chest with a leg drop!

She continued laying on the canvas on her back, with pain in her chest from the leg drop and with faint movements at her arms, trying to push herself upwards.

Makie pulled the move off almost flawlessly: with Melody still reeling from her earlier blows, she was struggling to keep up with Makie as she feinted, running past her only to then bounce back with a leg drop! With a resounding crash, Melody jolted on the mat before lying still, visibly hurting.

Even so, the other girl was still starting to roll and try to get up when Makie crawled towards her. Shoving Melody onto her back, Makie lay across her, hooking one of her legs for the pinfall.

"ONE..." the ref girl called...
