Kyoko Akane vs Rei Tomizawa

"Arae?" Rei blinked as her kick was dodged, it was at this point, she knew... she fucked up. She stumbled forward giving Kyoko plenty of opportunity to get behind her. Recovering her balance after attempting and failing from a running super kick was hard to do but although trying two of her signature moves in succession wasn't the brightest idea but in Rei's eyes, it was worth trying.

Kyoko got behind her and started things with a hard chop to her thigh. The clap on skin on skin resonated through the stadium before Rei was yanked backwards. Rei wasn't sure what she expected but she certainly didn't expect feeling the sensation of being stabbed in the back.

"Gahhh!" Rei cried out as the knees dug into her back. She cringed at the impact as she flipped backwards onto her hands and knees behind Kyoko. She bit her lip and placed a cautious hand on her back. She punched the mat with her fist as she let out a long hiss. She slowly got to her feet, using the middle rope nearby to steady herself still uneasy from the stunt Kyoko pulled.

That was too close, she couldnt let Rei have that kind of freedom too often, bt at the same time trying to get in close ended badly as well. It seemed playing the wrestler was tricky with her opponent who was very good at countering and taking advantage of openings. So instead maybe it was time she took advantage of her brawler skills to get the advantage in this fight.

Seeing Rei getting up to her feet she saw the oerfect opportunity to turn this fight around. Charging in she would attempt to drive her shoukder into her opponent to wind her before pulling back and delivering a chop right into her chest. To followthat up she would then drive 3 solid uppercuts into Rei's belly before grabbing around her waist, if all went according to plan Rei would be sptoo stunned to counter the belly to belly suplex she would do from there.

Rei was too unsteady on her feet already when Kyoko came in and rammed her shoulder into her. The contact made her grunt and luckily knocked her out of the range from Kyoko's chop to the chest. She blinked, stumbling back before finally getting her feet underneath her. Rei would grunt as Kyoko landed not one, two, but NOT three uppercuts to her stomach. Rei pulled away from the third by walking backwards. With such short range punches and nothing to hold Rei there, she figured it was best to back off for now. The pain in her stomach was bearable but impossible to ignore. However, the memory of her hardcore matches with Heather Sunderland told her she'd endured worse.

"I got to admit... that you're pretty good. At the very least, pretty tough." Rei said as she circled away from Kyoko to keep out of further danger as she took a moment or two to recover.

Rei would step forward and get into her fighting stance again. Rei would throw a classic one, two combination with her hands at Kyoko's face before following up with a front (Sparta) kick to Kyoko's chest to force her back. While Kyoko was stumbling back, Rei would rush forward and try to spear Kyoko's stomach with her shoulder and slam her onto the mat.

Kyoko was able to push in and take her backwards but she had gotten off the ropes and avoided her chop, and while she nailed her with two hits to her stomach the third one missed as she backed up not willing to take another one. Thus had had to forget about her suplex entirely as Rei didnt look like she was in aposition where she could do that. From there she stared at her while she recovered and the two got ready for another go.

"Thanks, your just as tough as I was told you were. Win or lose im glad that ive gotten the chance to face you." She said sincerely as Rei moved while she went for a side kick, though she was cut short by the punch combo to her face knocking her backwards as the kick to her chest backed her up. When Rei charged in for the soear Kyoko really couldn't counter so instead she just dodged to the side and ran into the ropes. From there she woukd charge forward and go for a spinning dropkick into her opponent.

After delivering a solid boot to Kyoko, Rei charged forward ready to drive her shoulder into her stomach. However, Kyoko had managed to evade her, she cursed as she braved forward. She would charge into the ropes and would cut back to meet Kyoko, who also bounced off the ropes.

"Oh shit." Rei cursed as she met Kyoko head on but not the way she had anticipated.

Rei grunted as she got struck by Kyoko's spinning drop kick. She grunted at contact and fell flat onto her back. The Cospaly Fighter hissed as she lay on the ground and quickly rolled onto her stomach. One arm shielding her stomach, she lay on her hands and knees. She took a moment to recover after surviving Kyoko's onslaught of attacks.

After narrowly avoiding getting knocked bck to the ground by her spear Kyoko charged in and was able to nail Rei with The kick to her face. This sent the fighter to the floor, who immediately made the smart choice and turned over to her stomach so Kyoko couldnt attack the area she had targetted the most throughout the match. But this wouldnt hold her back for very long as she already had a different attack in mind.

Moving up to her opponent she stomped down on Rei's back to keep her from squirming away before moving and sitting on her back, from there she grabbed her arms and pulled them up and over her knees before locking her hands around her china ne pulling up to squeeze her opponent in a camel clutch.

Rei let out a yelp when Kyoko stomped on her back, the blow stunned her and made her helpless as Kyoko pulled back her head into a Camel's clutch.

"It seems... you haven't ugh... learned your lesson." Rei said through gritted teeth with one eye open. She felt her upper back and neck strain from the pressure of Kyoko's hold. "The ground is my domain and try as you might, you'll never beat me here. You're a few years too early as we the Japanese say."

The violet haired girl let out a gargled cry for distress as she spoke once more before trying her hand at escaping the hold.

"The submission was well executed but I wouldn't have gone with a camel's clutch if I were you." Rei said as she still had one knee underneath her body. "A good submission is about attention to detail and I'm afraid that's something you'll just have to work on...next time you fight me!"

Rei extended her leg jostling Kyoko on top of her as she forced her upper body off the ground as Kyoko's pulling on her chin actually helped Rei sit up. Rei just needed a little bit of space to free one arm from around Kyoko's knee. With one arm free, she could free other arm by turning underneath Kyoko and ending up on her back. With Kyoko in mount, Rei would throw up her legs and latch onto Kyoko's head pulling it back. Rei would hold Kyoko's hmastrings and calves together, so she could ground Kyoko's knees to the mat. As soon as Kyoko's head was pulled back, Rei's legs would figure four around Kyoko's neck and start to strangle her. By holding onto Kyoko's knees, she would creating an unnatural backwards arch in her back as well.

Kyoko only really needed to work on her back a little to make Rei trying to apply some submission holds harder then before, and to weaken her but it see,ed Rei akready had some counter ready as she began working her way up, though not without some trouble as she built herself  up and slowly wiggled her hands free from her knees. Much to her annoyance she was finding a way up faster then Kyoko had planned.

Once she for her arms free she saw her bringing her legs up and Kyoko quickly brought her arms up to block them hooking them rather then let them take her head, she had some tricks up her sleeve afterall. From there she would would lean forward and use her on legs to keep Rei pinned to the ground and on her back which let the ref come down and get ready to start for the pin. It wouldn't get her the win but it would keep her out of a submission move for now.

"One!" The ref called.

Rei was rather annoyed as well at Akane saw her legs despite being behind her. However, that just meant the next best thing. Rei would hook her legs underneath Akane's arms, which Kyoko did herself, and yank them back to pin Akane's shoulders to the mat. Utilizing her legs to hold down the other woman's arms, Rei would sit up and stack Akane's legs against her upper body, folding the other woman half as she tried to reverse the pin.

She would hold Akane down in her folded up state and wait for the ref to count back.

Kyoko leaned in but only got a one count before Rei took advantage f her legs bing rolled up and turning her to her back instead and took it a step forward by pushing her own legs to aid her maesnint Kyoko had to get free from there as well. Still she slowly tried to bridge her head and get her arms free as the ref moved in.

"One!"


Kyoko began kicking her legs and tried to get some leversge and momentum before things got worse as she twisted her arms so she coukd slide her amrs out when she was ready.

"Two!"

From there she kicked her legs forward and slide her arms out as she rolled to freedom. Trying to get back to er feet she woukd fall back to the ropes and wait for Rei to start getting up before charging in for a spear to take the fight back in her hands again.
