Tension 24/7 Title Match: Carmen Rodriguez(C) Vs. Clyde Gastin

Army wasn't completely sure what happened. One moment, he was lifting Clyde up, getting ready to cinch him with a tight German Suplex and send him flying across the room, probably right into the sauna. The next moment, his head exploded.

At least, that was what it sort of felt like. A searing pain shot through Army's jaw and made its way through his head, and for a moment the whole world went dark - a flash knockout. When he came back to reality a moment later, he was on the floor, on his back, with the ligths above boring into his eyes.

"Ah...fuck." He grumbled and blinked rapidly, still trying to figure out what happened. Whatever Clyde did, it hurt like hell. "What...what the fuck..."

Hitting Army with the surprise stunner, Clyde sat there on his butt before he slumped to the side. His abs burned and his head was spinning but with Army down, he felt he had time to breathe. A few audible roars from the crowd were heard after he stunned the crap out of Army, both of them clearly out of it.

Clyde pushed himself up and staggered around before falling against table, catching himself on it, nearly knocking over a bottle of pink champagne that began to spill over, Clyde grabbed the bottle by its neck without hesitation, he called himself stupid for drinking again but he craved something to make him feel strong again. Even at the cost of reminding himself of what he used to be. No matter how light it was, alcohol was now dripping off the lips of the once sober cowboy.

"Shit."

Army shot her hands in the air and squirmed around, like he was reaching for a set of ropes that weren't there to actually grab. After a moment, he sat up, groaning all along the way. Still wasn't sure what happened, but it hardly mattered. The important thing was that he needed to get up and get back in to the fight, before Clyde took advantage.

He managed to grab hold of a desk and used it to pull himself back up, all while he searched around the room for Clyde. After a moment, he found the cowboy standing a few feet away, drinking...

"Pink champagne?" His eyes narrowed. "Really, man? Pink champagne?"

With the drink dribbling off his chin, Clyde turned around when he heard Army speak. Clyde did not bother responding, he simply grabbed the neck of the bottle pulled it off his lips and rushed the big boxer.

Clyde raised the object over his head and tried to strike downward, attempting to break the bottle right over Army's thick skull.

The possibility that Clyde might bash the bottle over his head didn't escape Army's mind, but somehow, he just didn't think the cowboy had the balls to do it. As it turned out, he did, in fact, possess said balls, a fact that Army discovered just a bit too late to do anything about it.

"Waitwaitwait-" Army started to bring his hand up, but he couldn't do it fast enough. Clyde's bottle smashed against his head, glass scattered all over the place, and down he went, clutching his skull and cursing up a storm.

"Fuck! Chinga tu madre, puta!" He rolled over on his back and kept his hand pressed to his face, as blood began to seep out.

Smashing that bottle across Army's head felt satisfying. Clyde tossed the broken remains of the bottle away while Army went down and covered his face and head cursing out...

Clyde's eye twitched. "The hell you say 'bout my momma, boy?" He said in a low tone before trying to grab Army's ankles and raise them while Clyde stepped through and crossed the ankles before using all his strength to turn Army onto his stomach before pulling back on Army's legs as hard he could to apply the dreaded Sharpshooter!!

"Take it back!"

Getting bashed across the head was the worst part of all that, but having to deal with all the broken shards scattered shards would be a close second. As Army crawled around, he got his arm slashed up with a few of them, giving him a few deep pricks. "Motherfucker, when I-"

He wsn't even allowed the luxury of wallowing in pain. Clyde snagged his legs up and put him in the same move he got Carmen to tap with last year, only this time there were no referees, no ropes, nothing to stop him from holding it as long as he wanted. "Fuck, shit!" Army thrashed around and started to tap on the hard stone floor. "Fuck, let go!"

Not his proudest moment, but goddamn, this move hurt.

Clyde applied the sharpshooter without a hint of hesitation and pulled back as hard as he could until he felt Army thrash around behind and even tap out!

But Clyde didn't let up.

"Apologize ta' Ms. Gastin!"

Army buried his face into the floor as her cried out in pain. His chomped down on his fists, and for a moment it looked like he might say the words Clyde wanted to hear. Before he had a chance, though, a familiar figure stepped into the room.

"That's enough, Clyde."

Carmen stood in the doorway with the new referee behind her, watching as Clyde bent her brother in half. Her body was a mess, looking even more beat up and disheveled than when she'd left him, but she could still fight, and her iron eyes were focused his way. She was ready for one more round.

She handed the 24/7 Belt to the the referee and started to approach him, wincing with every step thanks her battered back. She wouldn't attack just yet - after all, Army did start this mess, and he deserved retribution from Clyde. She'd give the cowboy a chance to let him go, first.

One chance.

Clyde ramped up the pressure on Army as much as he could until a voice ordered him to step. It was Carmen. He flashed a glare at her before noticing how beat up she was. His eyes widening in confusion. For all he knew, Carmen might have let her brother give him trouble. She didn't seem too keen on breaking things up when Army was dragging him by the ankle.

"The hell happened to you?" He asked, but did not release Army. He eased up on the pressure but he wasn't letting him go. Clyde wasn't sure how much Carmen wanted to keep her title. Maybe enough to double team him? He knew he couldn't trust Army either way.
