Tension 24/7 Title Match: Carmen Rodriguez(C) Vs. Clyde Gastin

The fist drop ended up with Carmen over Clyde, down on one knee while the aching cowboy rolled around between her legs in pure agony. It was no surprise when the Tension crowd made a few lewd noises, quickly picking up on the suggestion position. She didn't pay it any mind. The AFW fans were a bit oversexualized by nature, but if they thought that was where this was going, they were about to be sorely disappointed.

She looked up at the camera above them and smirked as she shook her head at the audience, a second of levity before she went right back to the task at hand: taking Clyde apart. "Come on, vaquero." She grabbed his shoulder with one hand and a fistful of hair with the other, then stood up and pulled him along wiht her, forcing him to stand with her on the bouncing bed. As soon as he was high enough, she tried to pull his head under her shoulder and wrap her arm around it, looking to snap in a tight front facelock.

Sure the crowd loved the suggestive scenery with Clyde between Carmen's legs like that on a cushy mattress, but that wasn't on Clyde's mind and he was aching too much to really get a good laugh or even an idea of what was going on.

He winced and groaned as he was picked up via a large handful of his shaggy hair, getting forced to his feet and snapped into a tight front facelock that had Clyde up close and person with Carmen's ribcage, breathing against it through his nose.

He was hurt, but Carmen would get long to savor the position before he gripped the back of her thighs and tried to lift her up as high as he could before dropping her crotch and tailbone first onto his extended knee for a sudden inverted atomic drop!

As Carmen pulled Clyde up and secured the headlock, she looked over her shoulders, making sure the way was clear behind them. The referee quickly got out of the way and the crowd cheered with anticipation, as they figured out what she she was going for - a vertical suplex, right onto the floor. It might've been enough to put Clyde out early, and even though it wasn't the most theatrical way to end the match, she'd be fine with it. With an opponent like this, Carmen was better off not taking chances.

She'd just started to lift him when she felt a sudden surge coming from the former champion, sparking up with new life and fury. She was up, head closer to the ceiling than she liked, and then was down, and there was a sudden, searing pain in her tailbone, of all places. An inverted atomic drop, a move she'd seen quite a few times but never experienced. It hurt every bit as much she thought it would.

Carmen cried out and flopped on her back, landing on the edge of the bed. It quickly bounced her off and sent her tumbling to the hardwood floor, where she laid on her side and took a precious moment to rub her aching bones. "Meirda..." She groaned, rolled over to her front, and started to push up, trying to get back to her feet.

Clyde winced as he dropped Carmen onto his knee before letting her flop to the hardwood floor below. He remained standing, rubbing his rubs as he watched her roll onto her front.

Clyde didn't want to let her stand. He jumped off the bed with his elbow extended out, trying to come down with his elbow across the back of his opponent after leaping off the bed!

"HAH!"

Yes, this was what Carmen got for trying to be fancy. She'd forgotten how wily Clyde could be, on top of having skill. Next time she had him down, she'd ensure he stayed there for a little longer, properly tenderize him before she tried something more advanced.

She shook her head as she started to rise up, but she didn't make it halfway before some heavy, hard and pointy crashed into the small of her back - an elbow drop. She got to  see it from a great angle on the television, as she was harshly hammered into the floor, with the blow driving right into her spine for maximum pain.

Carmen's body went into a spastic fit as she rolled away knocking over a chair by the computer as she tumbled. She came to a stop after three good rolls and laid on her front again, this time rubbing her back higher up. At least her tailbone didn't seem to hurt so much, anymore.

Driving his elbow into Carmen's back, Clyde had an otherwise easy landing when he hit the hardwood floor. He watched Carmen take the blow, spaz out and roll about following the hit.

Clyde stood up with a grin and moved over towards Carmen, trying to haul her by a handful of her short hair to a standing position, tucking her head under his arm, guiding them around until Clyde's back was facing a coffee table located in the center of the suite.

"Goin' up, Chica." He remarked, knowing this, and a moonsault off the bed (maybe?) could end the match for him no doubt!

He grabbed the hem of her pants and bent his knees before trying to fall back and give Carmen a vertical suplex right through the coffee table!

Carmen had just started to get her bearings back when she felt Clyde's fingers digging into her scalp, pulling her back up despite her back's painful protests, the same way she'd done to him a moment earlier. In fact, he was pulling her head under his shoulder the same way, too. If the ornate table behind him was any indication, he was going for the exact same move - a vertical suplex, right onto the damn thing.

"Hm."

The audience was cheering at the possibility of property destruction, but Carmen wasn't too keen on being on the receiving end. As he tried to lift her up, she attempted to pull away from him and block the attempt...

...her back, however, had other ideas. It gave a painful protest and killed her counter before it could even get started. Up she went, all 170 pounds of her, and came down hard on the table with a deafening crash. Splintered wood went in all directions as the furniture was obliterated. All that was left in the wake of the impact was a ruined mess, and in the middle of it all laid an aching Carmen Rodriguez.

The crowd cried in awe and sympathy when they watched Carmen hit the wooden table that broke underneath her thanks to the slam. The cowboy sat up and up and thought about going for a high flying maneuver but decided against it.

He flopped over Carmen and hook her leg up, putting his elbow firmly across her sternum.

"COUNT IT!" He barked while the ref girl slid in place as Clyde attempted to become a Two-Time 24/7 Champion!

Carmen was hurt, in far more pain than she would've liked at this point in the match, but she wasn't so out of it that she was oblivious to the sensation of a cowboy laying across her chest and raising her leg up. She'd come to peace with the possibility that she could lose here, she accepted that Clyde was good enough to beat her. If he wasn't, she wouldn't have bothered challenging him in the first place.

1...!"

But she did not accept losing this quickly and easily.

"2...!"

As the referee's hand hit for the second count, Carmen brought her shoulder up with a violent jerk, breaking the count and pushing him away harshly. "Nowhere near that easy, vaquero." She grunted, as she tried to push past the pulsing pain in her back.

Carmen pushed up and broke the count. "TWO!" cried the crowd and Clyde pounded his fist against the floor when Carmen didn't stay down.

"Figured." He remarked to Carmen with a small smirk before getting up off of Carmen but immediately he tried to go for ankles and raise them up, looking to go for a sharpshooter right there and seal the deal.
