Adrian Kytes vs. River Styx - No Guts, No Glory

Styx had to stumble back a couple of steps after the throw, still dealing with the effects of taking two hard shots to the neck and getting caught in that headlock. Adrian was turning out to be a bit more of a handful than she'd originally thought, but she was fairly sure that was just the in-ring experience of a more seasoned wrestler coming into play. The further this fight got away from the ropes, the further it would be from Adrian's comfort zone, and the closer it would be to Styx's.

She rolled out of the ring as fast as she could - which wasn't fast at all, but whatever - and came after Adrian, smelling blood in the water. "You starting to get how this works, now?" Styx started to close in on little cosplayer, stalking towards her while she rubbed her neck and ignored the hissing fans just a couple of feet away. Security was having a fun little time stopping a few of them from throwing crap at her. Styx took that as a point of pride.

She lashed out at Adrian the second she was close enough, throwing a hard right cross towards her chest, trying to deal some damage and drive her closer to the barricade.

Adrian had just managed to pick herself off the floor and up to her feet just in time to get punched in the chest, sending her staggering back and forcing the cosplayer to lean on the guard rail for support, wincing in pain. Yeah, that was a pretty clear indication of how things were gonna work, River hit like a truck loaded with other trucks which themselves were probably loaded with smaller trucks Truckception so taking more shots like that was probably going to be really painful. 

Still, the brunette was nothing if not tenacious, and once she got a decent enough footing she fired back at the bald brawler with a knife edge chop, see how she liked being hit in the chest.

Adrian took the punch a lot better than Styx was expecting, in that she didn't immediately get floored by it. That might've had a little to do with the guard rail saving her, but still, not bad. She would get down there eventually, though. Guaranteed.

She moved in and reeled back for a right hook, but she was interrupted by a flashing blow against her chest. It hit so fast that Styx swore there was a delay between the blow and the pain it generated, but when she felt it, she felt it.

"Fuck!" She recoiled away and covered her meager chest, hissing as the pain surged along her skin like a thousand any bites. Adrian couldn't chop her way to victory on Styx if she had a million years to try it, but if the objective was to piss The brutal brawler right the fuck off, she'd succeeded.

Styx spat to the side, churned out an animalistic grunt of rage, then charged back at Adrian with her leg raised, trying to knock her head off with a Big Boot to the face.

It might not have been anything that was going to do some lasting damage, but Adrian couldn't help but smile slightly as River recoiled from her chop, trying to show the bald woman that she couldn't just roll over the smaller girl easily but Styx was quick to answer back harder. "Uggh!" Adrian grunted as she took a combat boot to the face, the impact sending her rolling over the guard rail and into the crowd with a painful crash.

Security did an admirable job of getting the crowd back in time, narrowly avoiding a crash when Adrian came tumbling over. Shame, too. Styx was hoping to score a little collateral damage. The match was young, though, so she wasn't giving up on the notion just yet.

Now that she had a little spare time, Styx decided it was time to spice things up even more and give Adrian a perfect example of what her idea of hardcore really was. She moved back to the apron, reached under it, and grabbed the first hard, metal instrument her hands came across: a steel chair. Little predictable, but it would do.

With her blunt instrument in hand, she went back to the rail and stepped over it, making her way into the open space that the guards created. "See?" Styx called out to Adrian, as she brought the other leg up and over. "This is what happens, Kytes. Fucking warned you."

"Ngghh.... ha..." Adrian groaned and panted as she pressed herself up to her knees checking her face to make sure nothing got kicked loose by River's boot, teeth, nose... everything was still there but if River got too close with that chair, they might not be for much longer. 

Back up to one knee as the bald woman started to move back over, she charged in as Styx slung her leg over, looking to ram her shoulder into the bald woman's leg, trying to crush it between herself and the guard rail to put the hurt back on the bigger brawler.

Styx was far from being the fastest or the most agile girl on the roster, so she didn't exactly have the easiest time getting over the rail, and she'd already wasted a little time finding the chair. No big deal. Adrian was firmly in her control, she had a little time to spare. Right?

Wrong. For such a - comparatively - smaller girl, she had lot of energy to burn, and she applied those reserves at the exact worst time. Styx saw her approach at the last second, figured out what was about to happen, but there wasn't a damn thing she could do. "Nonono-"

Getting her leg slammed against the metal sucked a ton and would've been bad enough by itself, but because of the awkward position, she wound up putting all of her weight down on her inner thigh, pressing the hard metal into her crotch for one excruciating moment.

Her eyes shut tight and she made a sound that was half scream, half roar, and nothing like you'd expect to come out of a human's mouth. The chair was dropped, clattering off to the side as Styx fell back and laid on the guard rail for a hot second. Gravity quickly got the better of her and the bald bruiser tumbled towards the ring, crashing hard on her chest.

"Goddamnit! Shit!" She impotently growled into the floor, while she massaged her battered leg and groin. Of course, the crowd was laughing. Fuckers.

Physics were kind to the cosplayer, all the pressure on the leg that got crushed against the guard rail, the rattle and the scream hurting the brunette's ears but the fall hurt River a heck of a lot more. Wincing in sympathy as she pulled herself up to the top of the guard rail to survey the damage and plan her own follow up.

Securing her grip on the top of the wall, she squatted down low and then leaped up into the air while keeping a firm grasp on the metal, using it like she would use the top rope to slingshot herself over the rail and down on top of River. It didn't have the speed that she'd get from the springy-ness of the ropes but it worked well enough, looking to drop a senton on the bald woman's back as the crowd cheered Adrian's unorthodox offense.

This looked bad for Styx, she could admit it. Face down, leg hurting, prone and vulnerable. But she had a plan: she would get up, grab the chair, and bear Adrian with it until her arms got tired. Simple.

She was having a little trouble with the first part, though, as she tried to push up and immediately regretted it. Her thigh wasn't quite ready for the pressure and it gave her a harsh spasm, dropping her back down.

She smacked her fist into the mat and tried to push back up, and she might've made it this time, but having Adrian crash on her back made that task just a wee bit difficult. She was laid out, flat on the floor with one hand flailing and the other reaching around to nurse her hammered spine. She couldn't even curse properly - it all came out as a garbled, unintelligible mess of mixed swears."Fuckingcuntshitfuck!"

The crowd roared as Adrian kept up the pressure on the bald brawler, managing to come up with answers to Styx's overwhelming strength. The philly native showing that she knew how to work outside of the ring as well as she did in it and now the cosplayer was standing up and eyeing the chair River had brought into play. "Yeah..." Adrian said, picking it up and moving back to River, "I know how to use this too." She said casually before her expression hardened and she swung down hard onto Styx's back.
