Battle of the Redheads: Akiko Takamiya vs. Volcanica (for k0hryuu)

Volcanica groaned out even loader as Akiko tightened the hold on her ankle. She pounded the mat a few times, but she shook her head to still try and fight the pain. She would cry out, "I refuse this way!" The Brit would do her best to go for the rope break, but given her pain, she had no idea if she can make it or how long she'll last.

Personally, Volcanica didn't want to lose by submitting, but it seems that method is about to happen if this keeps up.

"Ghhhhhh...!" Akiko grunted, struggling to hold Volcanica back, but the larger woman was slowly dragging her closer and closer towards the ropes. Given the 'anything goes' part of the match, there wasn't a rope break for her to be worried about, but the exertion was starting to wear her down a bit and her grip was loosening. Eventually, Volcanica's thrashing finally forced her from the hold. Cursing, Akiko pushed back and staggered back to her feet. "Jeez, you're stubborn..."

Volcanica was at least relieved that her rehashing about got her free from Akiko's clutches. But she found herself to be dragging by the strength of her arms in trying to recover. She would try to stand, but the soreness of her afflicted ankle was causing her great trouble. Akiko definitely did a good one on her.

Volcanica kept falling down as she whispered a bit out loud to herself, "Sticklebags! I can't get up!" Akiko still might have a chance to finish off Volcanica before the fiery redhead can blow her top again.

Just barely stifling a laugh at Volcanica's colorful curse, Akiko cautiously approached her crippled foe. Even with one leg down, there were still three more limbs for Akiko to be wary of. Attempting to circle behind the stronger woman, Akiko would try to grab Volcanica in a sleeper hold from behind.

Volcanica was so focused on her inability to stand up that she didn't notice Akiko coming from behind. Soon, she felt one arm go around her neck while the other kept it secure with the hand on her head. The British girl would immediately grasp onto the around her neck and grunted, "Get off me..."

During the hold, Volcanica was trying to breathe, but Akiko's hold was doing a good job holding her down. It wasn't long before Volcanica felt her eyes starting to fade and she tried to fight it.

Feeling Volcanica begin to weaken in her grasp emboldened Akiko, leading her to tighten her hold further. "Heh, don't tell me you're already done?" Looking to secure her position, she wrapped her thin, yet toned legs around Volcanica's midsection, hoping to put some pressure on her there as well.

Volcanica would gag a bit as Akiko began to tighten her hold on her. To make things more difficult, Akiko's legs would wrap around her midsection to put more pressure on her body. But being the hothead that she is, Volcanica would reply, Of course not! Ugh! It's just...(nngh) just...just let go of me..." Volcanica still tried to pry herself loose though Akiko is already gaining the lead on her and it probably won't be long until she passes out at this rate.

Akiko continued to maintain her hold, although by this point the prolonged struggle had begun to wear on her a bit. Grappling like this wasn't quite her strongest point after all. "Jeez... Real stubborn, aren't you...?" Still, she seemed to have the upper hand in this battle of attrition. If she could just hold on a little longer...

Usually when someone's a major hothead, their anger would get the better of them and it can lead to their defeat. However, Volcanica isn't necessarily like that for she does have a more composed side. And feeling how bad her position and state of condition are, she would heave a big sigh and showed a small smile as she quietly says, "Well, whaddya know? I guess you did it...Take the match then, it's all yours."

Although it doesn't much like a submission, Volcanica was actually doing so in a more humble manner. Once Akiko releases her, the referee would ring the bell to signal the end of the match.

Though a bit wary, Akiko slowly released her hold, having tired of it and hoping what ever that was counted as a submission. Hearing the bell actually ring, she could help but breathe a huge sigh of relief as she got back up to her feet. It had been a rough fight, though surprisingly pretty tame despite the lack of rules.

"Heh, guess I got pretty lucky." Akiko chuckled, offering her hand down towards Volcanica. "Didn't actually think I was gonna pull this one off."
