Alex Withers vs Hummingbird- Hardcore Submission Match

As Alex locked Hummingbird in her "improvised" bearhug, she suddenly found a flurry of short-range punches in her face. However, because the two were so close together, these didn't nearly have the force behind them of the earlier blows she had been taking, and mostly just annoyed her.

"Hey, cut it out!" Alex grunted after a few hits. Resorting to impulse and taking advantage of the hardcore rules, she opened her mouth wide and took a chomp right into Hummingbird's forehead, though mostly just to pacify her and not nearly hard enough to draw blood.

Hummingbird's punches seemed to be working in her favor as Alex looked quite annoyed. Wait a minute...Alex is looking REALLY annoyed. Seeing this, Hummingbird sensed that she might have rattled the alligator's cage and she had to brace herself for the worst. She was right when Alex was opening her mouth, ready to chomp.

Hummingbird would in turn try to grab Alex's chin and face with both hands to stop her from chomping as she said, "I will once you put me down!" If this worked, she would also try to counter with a massive headbutt.

Alex wasn't able to latch her teeth in before she had a face full of hands obscuring her senses. For a moment, she just shot a confused look forward as her opponent's reaction was just as unexpected as her impulsive attack, but she didn't have much time to think about it as Hummingbird came crashing in with a fierce headbutt, causing her to let go and stagger back a few steps.

Hummingbird's headbutt was pretty risky when dealing with someone who wanted to bite her face in, but at least it worked and she was released from the hug. It also looked like that strike sent Alex staggering back a few steps. This could be her chance to pull off one part of her special.

Rushing in foward, Hummingbird would attempt to give a doubled handed slap on both sides of Alex's face to daze her. If this worked, she would perform some spinning backfist strikes to also try to hit Alex again a few times just to keep her dazed and confused.

Alex didn't have much time to recover from the initial headbutt as a pair of hands came colliding with her face, frustrating her further but also confusing her more. Just a moment later, a fast, hard fist rammed into her face, and another, and another, until she could barely see straight, about ready to fall from her feet.

Those hits were enough to keep Alex staggering enough and Hummingbird went back to a crouching position. With a deep breath, she would take a running start and she had to try and pull off the final part of her special. This includes jumping up and performing a drop kick that leads into a backflip.

If this worked, Alex would fly back and hit the mat hard and perhaps the odds can be on Hummingbird's side.

Still dazed by the feat of sheer agility, Alex wasn't even close to regaining her focus when a pair of boots landed hard into her chest, knocking her off the ground and onto her back and sending her head spinning. She was certainly at a disadvantage at this point, though she was still mostly just glad that this wasn't the vicious beating she had received in her last match.

Dizzy, Alex vainly tried to get up to a sitting position, but would just slouch back down each time she tried.

"34 Wing Power," said Hummingbird under her breath as she completed her special technique. It took her weeks to come up with it and even execute it with such difficulty and tenacity. In this case, it was successful.

With Alex on the mat with her head spinning, she had to waste no time to keep the momentum going. Hummingbird would run over to Alex's legs and try to grab them to put them under her armpits as she dragged her to the center of the ring. If this worked, she would turn her over and sir on her back for a Boston crab.

By the time Alex had an awareness of her surroundings, she was in the center of the ring with her legs about to be tucked behind her back. She may not have had the best knowledge of technique, but she knew where this was going, and she didn't like it.

"Aaaahhh, fuck!" she cried out as her back was arched sharply backwards. The pain was certainly something else, and she knew she would have to do something if she wanted to get out of it, but for the moment she was still groggy from the prior attack. Desperately, she dragged the both of them as best she could towards the ropes. She wasn't sure if grabbing the ropes would even free her in a no-dq match, but it was her best bet to get out of this.

Looks like Alex was still holding up rather well as Hummingbird continued to apply the hold. The pressure would focus on the legs and lower back so of course it's a challenge to try and get out. At the moment, that's what Alex was doing and she was making progress.

Hummingbird continued to keep up the pressure as best as she could until Alex grabbed hold of the ropes. Once she did, Hummingbird would release her and back off a few inches.
