Dancing in the Dark (For Tai)

"What?!" The bartender exclaimed after Haley made her offer. "You wave your money around like it lets you do whatever you please!"
"Uh oh." Marilyn murmured as the man's face turned red. She had seen this sort of look before on bartender's faces both at home and here. Reaching out she began to grope for Ace's hand.
"I'm calling the cops!" The bartender yelled.

"Time to go!" Marilyn called, trying to drag Ace away at a run. Also, on impulse, the American reached out and would snag one of the rum bottles on the bar counter!

"Damnit!"

Ace yelled, following behind Marilyn, tossing a couple large bills behind her for the bartender to pick up, at the very least paying for the drink her American friend had decided to steal.

They ran for a good few blocks, Ace nearly tripping as Marilyn was forced to ditch her high heels to run properly. Finally, they seemed to make it a safe distance, though they certainly gained an ungodly amount of weird looks along the way, stopping outside a small convenience store a few good blocks away from the bar, too far for any barkeep to chase.

Panting, Ace bent over, catching her breath as she looked over at Marilyn, reaching over and giving her a firm smack on the larger woman's backside.

"Geez! I liked that place, they probably won't let us in after that!"

Carrying her heels and her stolen bottle of rum, Marilyn put an arm against a wall and leaned against it. She giggled even as she panted to catch her breath, still somewhat exhilarated from what happened at the bar.

Then she yelped as Haley slapped her ass.
"Hey, I just headbutted a guy's nose into orbit for laying hands on that thing!" she exclaimed with a grin.

Marilyn gave a wave of her hand at the Canadian's concern about the bar.
"Give it a couple of months, the guy might not remember us by then. Besides, I've seen that look on bartender's faces before, Haley. He was going to kick us out no matter what you said. Those guys were probably regulars or friends of his, or something." she replied.

Then something occurred to her.
"Then again, that was a pretty epic Whitesnake sing-a-long you did." she said thoughtfully. "Well, you know what!? We were defending ourselves, and that assclown decides to get on our case!? Well, ha, serves him right. That's why we stole...."
The American consulted the bottle, having acquired it in a blind grab, and found out it was a bottle of rum.
"Oh!....a bottle of rum!" she completed her sentence, holding up the bottle and waving it at Haley invitingly.

Haley shook her head, her friend swinging a bottle of rum around in view of anybody who wanted to see.

"Your buzzed aren't you?"

She sighed. Not that she didn't have a bit of a buzz herself, but her drinks weren't as high in alcoholic content as Marilyn's were.

"Why don't we go back to my place? We can keep drinking there and get out of the street."

Marilyn looked over at Haley as the other woman asked her if she was buzzed. What would make her think that? She could drink all night if the occasion called for it!
"Not really!" she chirped cheerfully.
Then she thought about her behavior just a short time ago.
"Maybe a little." she amended. "Those jerks still got what they deserved though. And really, the nerve of that bartender..."

When Haley made the offer to bring Marilyn home, the American gave a slight smile. Leaning against a wall, Marilyn put her shoes back on before answering.
"Sure. We could also go to my place, but it's a training dorm. No alcohol allowed. Or visitors, for that matter."
She gave an apologetic shrug.

With that, she would let Haley lead the way, walking alongside the shorter woman.

"Hmmm....a training dorm with no drinking or visitors, or an apartment suite with like, 8 different rooms, and a pool on the balcony. Touch choice!"

Ace rolled her eyes, before looking at the street. It took time, but she eventually managed to get a cab, quickly getting them back to her apartment, the doorman letting them in.

"Welcome to Casa De Ace!"

She yelled, getting off the elevator on the top floor and opening the only door on the top floor to let Marilyn in.

Following along behind Ace, Marilyn had whistled lowly at seeing the high rise building the Canadian lived in. With a doorman at the front, no less.
After an elevator ride, the two girls stepped out and Haley opened a door, letting Marilyn into a very large apartment.

"You have a whole floor to yourself!?" the American exclaimed, looking about the place. "You're not kidding about having money....or a pool on the balcony! Really, this place is something you see in like, rap videos....."

Ah yes, the Park Haibo Shinjuku Eastside Tower, shiny home of the elite in the middle of Tokyo.

"PSH, I've seen that american show "Cribs", where every rapper has Scarface on TV and solid gold toilets. Idiots. This is how to live."

Ace smirked, showing off the large living room and pointing down the hall

"Let's see....Kitchen, laundry room, guest bathroom, entertainment room, sound room, guest bedroom, and master bedroom. Out this way is the balcony and the pool, this is the living room, and just outside is roof access, where private Ace-Copter awaits for the next time I want a joyride."

She smirked, joking around. It wasn't often she brought girls over to her place, Marilyn only the second one. It felt...odd, given Valley was the only one that had been around before. Still, Ace hoped she liked the place, it certainly cost a lot to set it together.

Marilyn wandered about the large apartment. She began to wonder if it was actually possible to get lost in here.
"Holy....crap..." she breathed as she looked about. "You weren't kidding when you said you were loaded."

Then Ace said that there was a pool on the balcony.
With a grin, she turned back towards Haley.
"Did you say, pool?" the purple haired American said as she sauntered towards Ace. "I think I know what where we should start drinking the rum."
Leaning close, she said softly into Haley's ear.
"Don't bother with a swimsuit..."

Ace blushed a little as Marilyn whispered in her ear, but giggled soon after. Sure, swimming with rum was a bit risky, but hell, it also sounded like fun. After that whole ordeal with Valley, she needed more fun.

"Hmm...Alright, sounds damn good..."

She purred back, turning and rubbing her hip against Marilyn's before starting to move towards another room, waving to the taller girl.

"Go ahead and hit the pool, I just gotta...change.."

She came out onto the balcony a couple minutes later, clad in only a white towel wrapped around her body, looking to see if Marilyn had gotten....comfy.
