Blossom vs Anja - Taking It Up A Notch

Anja had good reflexes, and Blossom's chop just whiffed over her guard, even hurting her forearm a little with the hit - she'd started off with good momentum, but it looked like holding on to it for any real amount of time would be the real trick.

The knee strike hit her dead on the side, coming out of nowhere and taking Blossom by surprise. She took a step back, rubbing her rib and bending over a bit, before charging straight forward with a point-blank spear, trying to tackle Anja back into the turnbuckle.

With her hit connecting, the Blonde was pretty sure that she had taken the early wind out of the sails of the other girl and was in the process to shove her away to let an additional move follow, but obviously Blossom had another idea and charged her with a spear!

„UH!“
She huffed out a lot of air when she was driven back into the pillows of the ring post, but she was not down yet so she attempted to pay Blossom back with a hard double axe handle blow to the back as long as she was still close enough to do it.

Blossom crashed into her like a living missile, a piston driving her back into the turnbuckle, her shoulder slicing right into the abs - she felt them give on impact, knew she'd done some decent damage with that. Not a bad start - so far, this was going well.

So far.

That all came to an end when the height difference was made painful apparent - it put her in a perfect position for Anja's axe handle to crack down on the small of her back, bringing her down to her knees in one, fell swoop. She hit the floor and hit it hard, groaning as she kneeled at the taller maiden's feet.

"Oof...not bad, not bad."

Too bad that Anja was not in the condition to put her opponent into a decent action or punish her badly after her spear because she had her own problems with the consequences of the spear and the fact that she had to escape from her position in the corner first, so she would simply try to shove her opponent on the back after she had a mat under her feet when her feet touched the floor again and drop onth stomach of Blossom to keep her grounded.

„That was...unexpected.“
The Blonde added with a grim impression on her face while she fought he pain.

Blossom was knocked over onto her back, long before she even had a prayer of getting back to her feet - not fun, no, but hardly the worst thing that could have happened, so she figured she was getting off light, really. At least, that's what she thought, until Anja's feet came down on her stomach.

Blossom let out a gasp that mixed into a howl of pain, as Anja's full weight came bearing down on her hardened abs, heels crushing down on the tiny titan, pinning her to the mat. She tried to get up, tried to push her way out of it, but Anja's weight was just to much for it at this angle - the best Blossom could dow as swing her fist up at Anja's leg, hoping to just knock her off with sheer brute force.

She had the feeling brute force was going to be a common theme, today.

At least she had Blossom down now, a feat that was not as easy as she had anticipated from the rather small frame of her opponent. But now that she had seen what the girl could do, she would be much more careful, although she could not stop the other girl from reacting again against her with a brutal blow to the leg, which would produce a red sot immediately and probably a blue one later in the night.

„Ghn!“
She pressed out through closed teeth, trying to use her fall from the simple fact that she did not manage to balance quick enough, into an elbow to the chest of her opponent.

Good news: Anja wasn't using her stomach as a doormat anymore. Yay!

Bad news: She was still on the floor and her stomach still hurt and it looked she might be down here for a little while still.

The blow connected - punches weren't really Blossom's style, but that was mostly because her opponents typically had the reach on her; in a pinch, she could throw a mean little hit, as Anja could probably attest. The foot was quickly replaced by an elbow, though, as Anja fell down on her, her blow hitting Blossom square on the chest.

She let out a shrill cry and rolled away, grasping her chest the whole way - that one landed dead center, right on the bone, reverberated throughout the torso.

With her elbow connecting, Anja had a little time to look over the scenery. For now she had the girl off her hide and down, so she could now probably try to see how Blossom took to some good old fashioned exposing, for Anja to see what she could expect from her opponent in that department. For now, this match had been as clean as possible, and she did not really intend to change that at this point.

Armed with that thought, she would attempt to crawl over to Blossom and attempt to put her on the back so that the Blonde could full body press her on the mat for a first pin attempt, feeling her up in the same process while they were face to face and body to body.

Blossom looked up to see Anja crawling towards - she couldn't be...she was!

She was going for a pin!

She'd worked Blossom over a little, sure, but she couldn't be thinking that was all it would take to pin her, could she? It hadn't even been three minutes in, yet; there was no way the three-count would work on her.

"One...!"

Feeling just a tad insulted, Blossom reached up and grabbed Anja by the hair, trying to hit her with a headbutt and buck her off, bringing out the power of her body to give Anja a taste of what she really had to offer.

The turn of tides did not go especially well for the blonde. Instead of having a blushing opponent under her that was trying to understand what was going on, Blossom reacted angry and grabbed her by the hair.

„Oh oh...UH!“
The surprise was good watchable in her face when second later the skull of the other girl crashed against her, sending her straight into pain land while she rolled from away from the pin and the buck of Blossom, trying to use the kinetic energy involved in that to roll away and out of the ring for now where she would kneel on the floor, holding her head.
