Lia Harrison vs Esther Savato-Howell

"Yes... fricken... way!" With a lurch, Esther would pry Lia's arm off her neck and, with a second twist, she would try to flip Lia over her shoulder to the mat by her grip on her arm. If she could manage that, she would try to return the favor, leaning down and hooking Lia's head in her own sleeperhold.

Esther suddenly forced Lia's arm out, showing a burst of energy that she was hiding somewhere." This was the problem with trying to subdue someone stronger than her; they usually got out of it, just a lot angrier than before. Esther's freedom came, and now she was trying to steal Lia's. A hand snaked around Lia's neck, and she knew that Esther wanted to put her through the same hold, so she ducked, her face ending up inside Esther's elbow. Lia squirmed, trying to escape from her opponent before Esther could lock her in, she wasn't sure if she could force a way out like Esther did.

Lia was proving to be exceedingly irritating. Her face was imminently punchable and yet she just would not stand there and take it. And now here she was slipping out of Esther's surely most devastating of sleeper holds and making her look like a dolt in front of the audience. Again! "Gah! Stay still, you freaky whitey weirdo!"

Esther's strength was more in face punching than locking in holds. Changing tactics, she would try to use the awkward grip she did manage to wrench Lia's head back and aim to slam her arm across Lia's torso. It would not be a pretty strike but anything that hurt Lia was okay in Esther's book.

If someone were to keep track of the dialog and making a counter, the average number of insults per minute coming out of Esther would probably be some kinda record. Lia decided it would be best not to respond, which would inevitably add any more fuel to Esther's fury, there was a too much of it burning already.

Just when she managed to slip her neck out before the tight hold could get her, Esther decided to follow the rules of K.I.S.S., which meant... more punching. "Ha-hhUUGH!" Her head being pulled back sharply was painful already, and Esther's blows was as heavy as Lia had felt, enough to drive most of the air out of her lungs, leaving her coughing and gasping, vulnerable to more of Esther's "fun".

With Lia driven down to the mat, Esther snarled, shaking some of the soreness and tingling in her hands out. She paced back and forth. She had punched this woman a LOT and she still was not staying down. This was infuriating! Unacceptable! She needed to do something back.

At some point, Eh, screw it. took over when she was deciding what magnificent move she could use to destroy Lia and dazzle the crowd that was not a punch, and so she just rolled one of Lia's legs up and went for the pin.

Thinking up moves when you are so angry is hard sometimes...

(I knew learning necromancy would come in handy)

In lieu of all the punching from before, Esther's choice of her highly anticipated non-fist related move was... a fairly normal pin. Not much more exciting that regular punching, in all honesty.

But normal as it was, it was still a pin attempt, and Esther was a fairly strong person. "1!" Lia tried kicking out, hearing the count starting. If she got free, Esther was probably going to punch her again, but she could (hopefully) deal with that when it happened.
