Mindy Priest vs. Domino

Domino hasn't seen much action lately outside of a single match in the past couple months. And this makes for a stir-crazy grappler. He's had to fill his time with extra training and a few side-gigs modeling for a local company. But fortunately, he's received word of a new match! A new match with someone relatively new to the ring, if he heard right. He can't help but be a little excited at the prospect. By most standards, Domino would be considered "new" to the Tension roster, himself. Squaring off with another less-established face has the potential to be a lot of fun! And any ring action will help secure him as a league staple. Scoring a win would send his career even further!



Moments before the match, Domino is bobbing up and down on his feet. He's already wearing his typical wrestling gear; black and white boots, trunks, and matching bracers. But there's an addition to the wardrobe this time: a plain white t-shirt. He has an idea to enhance his fanservice value, you see. It wasn't a big ploy, but it's something to experiment with. After all, it's all about pleasing the viewers, right?

...Well, mostly, at least?

And then, his name is called. The teen leaps into view and thrusts his right fist into the air, smiling brightly and earning an equally energetic pop from the crowd. He breaks into a dash towards the ring and leaps up onto the apron. Grabbing the top rope, he vaults himself up and over to land on the mat with a bounce. From there, he takes the collar of his shirt and pulls it off, leaving his lean, trim body exposed to the flashing cameras and scores of prying eyes. His arm winds back, and the chucks the shirt out into the audience!

Some lucky spectator is walking away with a souvenir tonight!

With a bright, confident smile, he lifts his arms into the air, soaking in the cheer a few indulgent seconds before moving back into his corner, waiting to lay eyes on his new opponent.

Mindy looked at the mirror, adjusting her hair and costume, just moments away from her next fight. "Another mixed match, huh?" The muscle girl didn't know exactly how to feel about this. In the past, she had been really reluctant to fight against men, but her short stay in the AFW had given her a big confidence boost, and her recent match against a male member of Tension had shown her that mixed bouts weren't nearly as bad as she imagined. Many of her fears had been dissipated since then...

... on the other hand, that very same match DID end in a very resounding defeat for her. She could vividly recall herself being hung helplessly in the air, tapping out while locked in a tight Akamatsu Crippler. The blonde shook her head, trying to get these thoughts out of her head. She WAS going to perform better this time, and show everyone she wasn't just some rookie pushover!

The loudspeakers started playing her song across the arena, and Mindy appeared in the entrance ramp wearing her usual white sports bra, tight black gym shorts and fingerless gloves. Putting on her most confident smile, she pumped her fist into the air, being greeted with the fans' cheers. The muscular rookie made her way to the ring and, showing off her strength, grabbed the bottom rope and hoisted herself up with one arm. Once she stepped into the ring, she spotted tonight's opponent, a shirtless young man. She would walk forward and offer him a handshake. "My name's Mindy. Let's have a good match, okay?" His body pretty toned, but he didn't look too intimidating. "I can do this!," she thought to herself.

The woman hits the arena, and Domino perks. Those amethyst eyes affix to her, taking in her detail as she just powers her way into the ring. An eyebrow lifts and a bemused smile edges over his lips once she's finally on the mat. She's strong. Obviously so. She's fit, has great abs, and probably tough. This is a match he's definitely looking forward to.

The fact that she steps forward and offers a handshake just earns more points. Domino meets her to take the offered hand with a bright smile. "I'm called Domino around here. And somethin' tells me this is gonna be a great match." The hand is given a single pump, and he adds playfully, "But I plan on coming out on top tonight!"

Unless otherwise impeded, Domino releases her hand and takes a step back to allow the referee girl to inspect him for weaponry and such. Finding none, she turns her attention to Mindy. The signal bell is soon to follow!

For a moment, Mindy's blue eyes lock with Domino's and she becomes aware that he's taking a look at her build. Inspecting her. Judging her, even. She had already been in enough matches for this sensation to not be so unfamiliar, but it still made her a little uneasy. But she wasn't going to let herself be daunted by just that! She took his hand in a strong, assertive grasp, with his smile easing some of her tension. "Oh, this will be a good fight, no doubt... except I'M the one winning tonight!," she said, doing her best to use a self-assured tone as she did so.

She then backed up a few steps, doing some warmup stretches before the match started. Soon enough, the bell rang, and she slowly moved towards Domino while raising her arms for a tentative lockup with him.

The returned attitude earns a little laugh, but not in derision. Domino is authentically pleased with this girl, and as far as first impressions go, she's been all aces. The right amount of sass, great looks, a good sport...

Yeah. Domino's going to enjoy this.

The bell rings out, and the teen approaches. She has a couple inches on him in height, but he's not about to back down from the challenge of a lockup. His arms raise, fingers spread, and he circles the muscular girl a couple seconds. His strength against hers could be interesting. Suddenly, he surges forward and grapples with her, hands set to her shoulder and neck. Boots plant firmly to the mat, and his arms and pectorals visibly tense in effort. His eyes lock with hers, narrowing a little in determination.

Gradually, he attempts to back her body up to a turnbuckle.

After a few seconds of circling and measuring each other, Mindy met Domino in the dead center of the ring. She felt his hand moving to the back of her neck right away, so she mimicked his movements, and in the next instant both wrestlers were engaged in the classic neck-and-shoulder lockup. She started struggling against him, trying to match his motions. Their eyes, too, were locked onto each other, as they had nothing else to look at, and Domino could see her gaze filled with the desire to win.

As they jostled for dominance, Mindy tested her strength. It didn't look like she'd be able to easily overpower Domino, but it was clear that he couldn't force his way past her raw muscle strength either. She noticed he was trying to position her closer to the turnbuckle, so she decided to fight back, using all her strength to push HIM back instead! Perhaps a show of physical might right off the bat would be enough for her to get an advantage early in the match.

With their faces so close to each other, every heated breath grazes her face. As she puts more effort into the struggle, Domino finds himself pushed back a step. Then another. His eyes widen in surprise, and his back arches, quickly attempting to halt any more movement.

So those aren't just vanity muscles! And while he strains himself against her in the struggle, he has to admit she's played it straight with him. And for that reason, he doesn't try to change the tactic. He knows he should, he knows he should be tricksy and turn this around. But it would feel somehow dishonest. And if he can win this contest just by wearing her out first, that'll at least prove something.

Except it doesn't work out like that.

With several more seconds of struggling, the teen model finds his back pressed into the turnbuckle with a grunt. He remains locked up with her at the moment, but his determined scowl breaks to a small grin. "Nng... strong... ain't'cha?," he huffs.

Mindy's forceful strategy bears fruit! She keeps pushing Domino back nonstop, and by flexing her muscles she soon drives him to a corner, nearly sandwiching him between the turnbuckle and her own toned body. She makes sure not to go overboard and keeps some distance between their torsos, though, because she wanted some room to maneuver herself.

Mindy was then a bit surprised to hear his voice after such a struggle. She imagined that men didn't quite like being overpowered by a girl like her... talk about an odd time to be complimented! "I do muscle training five times a week, all year!" She didn't say any more, since she didn't want to run out of breath at a time like this; instead, she went for her first offensive move. With Domino cornered, she would try to move one arm around his back, turn around and flip him onto the mat with a quick hip toss.

Well, then, that makes sense! But it's little comfort for Domino as the match gets fully under way. She winds her arm behind his back and sends him flipping down to the mat, landing with a reverberating 'WHUMP' on his rear. His teeth clench as he absorbs the impact, hands balled into fists.

The start of the match isn't in his favor, but counting Domino out just yet would be a mistake. The energetic youth is far from resigned! And already, he's starting to lean to the side and grab for a rope to pull himself back up.

Mindy twisted and tossed the teen model onto the mat with a smile. Dealing the first blow was always a good way to open a match, and it did wonders for one's self-esteem - especially when combined with the satisfying sound Domino's body made as it was knocked down. She just had to keep this pace and tonight's imaginary trophy would be hers.

After her hip toss, Mindy would have liked to press forward and go for him while he was on the ground. However, since they were near the corner, his body naturally fell close to the ropes, and he grabbed one right away to get up. Mindy was a face through and through, so she wasn't going to hit him right away. Instead, the blonde took a step back, facing the man while he pulled himself up. She prepared herself in a simple fighting stance, and once he was on his feet she would move towards him and aim a punch at his upper body. Her strike had no finesse behind it, but with all her arm strength it was sure to sting a lot if it hit the mark.
