AV 13 Main Event: (C)Angel Vs. (C)Adrian "Unification" Match

Angel lied against the mat, barely stirring at the moment. She let out a soft moan as she felt the ladder being slid away from herself, but she barely registered what was happening. Her thoughts were a complete mess, filled with hatred and anger and every other negative emotion that she could think of. This was all so stupid. Ladders were so fucking dumb. She shouldn't have even agreed to this stupid match, especially after last year's mess.

But she wasn't going to give up. Not now, not this close to winning. As Adrian began to set up the ladder, Angel willed herself to roll over, and slowly began the climb back up to her feet. shaking her head slowly this way and that to clear out her head, to try and clear her thoughts for the rest of the match to come.

Adrian winced as she stood the ladder up, centre of the ring, straight underneath the swinging titles as she put a tentative step on the first rung. It didn't hurt too badly, and it didn't feel as though it was going to slip. Time to climb this thing and end it, prove that when she called herself the Real World Champion, that she was serious about being the best person to be champ, despite all the detractors, she was in the Main Event of Avalanche, and she was about to win it.

The sound of the crowd, roaring as Adrian began another ascent up the ladder, roused Angel to attention. She tilted her head upwards as she got to her feet, and glared towards Adrian as she saw the woman beginning her climb upwards. She couldn't let Adrian make it to the top, she wouldn't let Adrian take those belts. No way in hell.

With a determined look on her face, Angel staggered around to the opposite side of the ladder, grasping the rungs tightly as she too began to climb to the top. Even if Adrian did make it up there first, Angel was confident that she could knock the cosplayer back down again. She wasn't worried about dealing with Adrian, she knew she could stop her. She just had to reach the top of the ladder in order to do so.

Adrian struggled her way up the ladder, her grip failing her and her feet slipping a couple of times before she made her way up, victory almost within reach. But she'd been in this situation before, pretty much close to the start of this match where she tunnel visioned on the belts and got the ladder pushed out from under her, so it fell to her to check where Angel was and what the heck was she planning. Was she at the side trying to push it over again? A quick look told her no. Still on the floor? No again.

Was she climbing the ladder on the other side? Oh yes. With a look on Adrian's face that said 'God dammit', she tried to get as a secure position as she could on the top of the ladder, if she only had to claim one belt she might, but two was out of the question. "Bring it on!" She yelled, confident that she wasn't going to let this last hurdle stop her.

Angel came up the ladder, moving at a fairly decent pace, despite her fatigue from the match. It was her determination to win just as much as her desire to meet Adrian's challenge that was driving her upwards. She wasn't going to let a little thing like being tired stop her now.

As she reached the top of the ladder, the Latina popped right up, a nasty look on her face as she stared at Adrian. "Surprise, bitch!" she yelled at her, quickly moving to swing her fist right towards Adrian face, hoping to catch her with the sudden attack.

Angel moved up the ladder a lot faster than Adrian had, the former cosplayer was expecting to get a few cheap shots in as Angel climbed up. No such luck as Adrian was socked hard and almost knocked straight off the ladder, barely hanging on, before she got enough sense to answer back. Pulling herself back on and returning the favour with a punch of her own. "Have it back!" she yelled.

Angel reeled back, her head snapping to the side as Adrian's fist slammed into her face. She cried out, but quickly regained her focus. She couldn't afford to let Adrian have the advantage in this exchange, not this high up, not at this pivotal moment in the match.

<Just give it up!> she screamed, her anger taking control of her, her words falling back into her native tongue, as she launched another hard fist towards Adrian, her free hand gripping the ladder as tightly as she could manage. <Just give up and let me have my title, you bitch!>

Adrian didn't know if it was the beating messing with her hearing, or Angel was just cursing her out in Spanish, but she couldn't understand a word that was being said, only that it wasn't very nice. "Well fuck you too!" She said back, before being rocked by the Latina's punch again. "I'm not gonna let you win!" She said through gritted teeth, swinging back to smash her forehead straight against her opponent's.

<No, fuck YOU!> Angel screamed back, moments before Adrian's headbutt smashed right into her forehead. She reeled backwards again, her hands losing their grip on the ladder, and for a brief moment it seemed that she was going to fall back to the mat below. The crowd let out a collective sigh of relief though, as the Latina caught her balance, grabbing onto the ladder again, giving Adrian a hate-filled sneer in the process.

<You're not going to beat me!> she fired off, as she lifted her arms, trying to grab Adrian in a sort of lock-up. Her plan was to try and throw Adrian to the side, hoping to throw her off of the ladder to canvas below, but she had a feeling things weren't going to be that easy for her.

Adrian could have swore she understood part of that before her head smashed, maybe it was just her head being smashed into a different language, or that she could guess that "Fuck" was universal or something. The crowd gasping and sighing with every struggle on top, before Angel decided to end the brawl and start to grapple. "Nghhh..." She grunted, feeling her grip slip off the side of the ladder in the lock up. But if she was going down, Angel was falling off with her. Grabbing hold and instead of resisting, she tried to go with the Latina's pull, taking her down with her.
