As a first outing for this rebooted account, I'd like to engage some opponent in a matroom, or something equivalent, with a focus on BJJ, Catch Wrestling, MMA, etc. It can range from actual training (preferably of the character I play but I can do yours even if I'd like further teaching for BJJ.) to an extreme match. Either way, message me if you wanna bite. While I do like femdom and all that, I will do my best to treat any participants equally.

You can pick either Senji or Hiroyuki but I'm …

Noooooooo, I didn't do the initial sketch. I really can't do that. I'd need either a tablet, or 400,000 sketchbooks to be able to do that. I only modified the sketch to fix it up somewhat, then the clothes and colors of course.

Also of note: going from writing and drawing left handed, to drawing and coloring with a mouse right handed, is tricky.

But yeah, I want to get better at it, drawing as well as coloring, but I have no idea how to practice it properly. I went to school for music, and I know how to practice things, but I'm not sure where to start for drawing.

Edit: And yeah, if I could fix that hand I would. It's on the list of the many things I want to be better.

I usually just read online on how to draw, constantly practicing until you have your own style, which Im trying to do >.<.

I am starting to understand how to color using the program I have w/ tablet, so I think Im alright with coloring a bit.... so my main thing to do is sketching the whole body out right and then outline it later.

Best to do is let your mind flow and draw whatever and eventually, you'll understand how you like it.

Edit- If you want, I could try to do some editing on it or something, I wouldnt mind trying it out.

I know I should be learning how to sketch figures in stages using the ovals and whatnot. I guess I just have a hard time slowing down enough to learn something from scratch when I already see so many problems... you have to focus on one thing at a time.

Yeah, I still have issues drawing legs and lower waist, it always look weird to me and that bothers me, though some look good others just funky lookin. I think heights is somewhat of a issue too, what I wanted to learn is perspective so I can draw out cool pose like pointing at you or something.... you'll get better at it as long you keep trying <img src=" title="Smile" />

I started by drawing "bones." Basically with a simple circle head, with little circles to represent joints. Never got into any detail with those. Eventually I got better at making bodies, but faces became what I was really good at. I can do faces freehand now without having to do a base, but bodies, screw that. I can never make a full bodied drawing without feeling like I made something at an odd angle, or too big, or something like that.

The easiest way to practice though is to just... do. There's no right or wrong way to practice drawing. If you see something you want to better yourself at with your art, just try it over and over and eventually it becomes nothing. In my case, faces.

I don't believe drawing can be taught. Because it can't. There is no right or wrong way to draw. What's considered bad to one is considered surreal and interesting to another. So no, I don't video tutorials are helpful. You have to actually draw for yourself to figure out what actually works for you, rather than try to pick up someone else's techniques.

As an ex-guitar teacher who used to ride students mercilessly about practicing correctly and not just noodling around, I feel compelled to be on my game. I don't want to start sketching and have my old students kick in my door like "WHERE'S YOUR LIGHT SOURCE, BITCH?!"

While I'm all for showing people techniques to work off of, I think that it's best for anyone learning any form of art to build their own habits and techniques. Build off of what you've been shown, but don't let it define how you draw, or play an instrument. You can improve greatly if you are willing to challenge what you've been shown and try it in a different way.
