Rainbows and Roses: Dixie Clemets vs Rainbow Mika

At this point, though, Mika could do little more than moan slightly as she lay on her back, her head still reeling from Dixie's forehead slam. She was oblivious to the fact that Dixie was lying against her, though her face blushed slightly at the feeling of the Texan's warm breath against her neck. The ausdience was screaming at this point, urging both fighters to get back to their feet before they were counted out.

All the while, the ref girl continued her countdown...

Dixie was tired. She was ready for this match to be over, but it seemed that neither her nor Mika was going to let the other have a win. So, the cowgirl decided to try something different. There was still a way for her to win this match. All she had to go was get up, just ignore Mika and get back on her feet, and wait for the Rainbow Warrior to be counted out.

Easier said than done, but for the cowgirl, she didn't have any better ideas. Once more, she began to force herself up to her feet, her body brief rubbing against Mika's as she rose, struggling to get back up. All the while, she kept one lazy eye on her fellow blonde, watching her to see if she had any energy left to try and stand as well.

For a moment, Mika remained lying unmoving on her back as Dixie slowly got back up, the crowd chanting her name all the while. She seemed completely out of it, and for while, her fans were afraid that she'd actually been knocked out, or had finally succumbed to pain and passed out. Either way, the Rainbow Warrior was not moving.

Suddenly, though, Mika groaned and turned her body to the side, her pigtails flopping sideways as she rolled over onto her front. The crowd cheered as, slowly but surely, Mika began to prop herself up on her hands, trying to get back upright.

When Dixie noticed Mika starting to rise, she groaned inwardly. Damn the girl's stamina, she thought silently to herself. She didn't have time to waste with Mika though. Once she was back on her feet, the cowgirl started to stumble away from her, paying Mika no mind.

She staggered away from the Rainbow Warrior, collapsing against the apron as she moved closer to the ring. She leaned against it for a brief moment, then took a deep breath, pushing herself up, sliding under the ropes and back into the ring at long last. She didn't get back up though, not yet, simply lying on her side within the ring, her breath still harsh and heavy.

Slowly, Mika managed to push herself up to her hands and knees, completely ignorant of what Dixie was doing as she fought to get back up to her feet. Her head was swirling from all of those repeated blows to the head she had taken, and her body felt like it had been thrown under a train, and yet she still tried to stand back upright. As she got to her hands and knees, she fumbled for the nearest object-- which just so happened to be the announcer's table-- and used it to pull herself upright.

Slowly but surely, the Rainbow Warrior dragged herself back up to her feet until she was standing upright, wobbly but upright all the same. All the while, her fans continued to cheer her on.

Dixie was paying Mika no mind. She lied upon her side within the ring, eyes mostly closed, just trying to rest, to recover, to regain whatever last bits of energy she possible could...which, really wasn't much at all. She paid the cheers of the crowd no mind, just resting, letting her body have a moment to itself.

She had no idea that Mika had pulled herself up to her feet, standing tall on the outside of the ring.

Outside the ring, meanwhile, Mika was barely standing upright, leaning heavily on the announcer's table for support. She looked tired and beat up, and didn't even seem aware that her fans were cheering on. She looked like someone who would fall over any minute now.

Slowly, however, Mika began to hobble towards the edge of the ring, determined to get back inside...

As Dixie lied there upon the mat, trying to rest and recover, the sound of the crowd's cheers hit her ears. She knew what that sound had to mean, knew that there was no doubt that Mika was back up on her feet. Another inward sigh emerged from her, and the cowgirl forced herself to roll onto her belly. Then, she began to push up towards her hands and knees, knowing she needed to get back up before Mika made it into the ring and over to her.

As she rose up, moving onto her hands and knees, she lifted her head upwards, staring outside of the ring towards Mika, the look on her face almost daring her opponent to get back into the ring with her.

Grabbing the edge of the ring, Mika took several deep breaths, steeling herself for another round of brutality against Dixie and forcing herself to ignore the weariness and pain that saturated her body. Grabbing the ring post firmly, she looked into the ring and locked eyes with Dixie, staring the Texan down from outside of the ring.

Then, moving as quickly as she could, she rolled under the ropes, hoping to get up onto her feet before Dixie could take advantage of her vulnerable position...

When Mika slipped into the ring, Dixie instantly took off, bounding towards her recklessly. By the time Mika got got back up to her feet, Dixie was right there in front of her. Up came the cowgirl's arm, a desperate, furious scream passing through her lips as she swung it towards Mika, hoping to smash into her opponent with a wild, reckless clothesline...
