Dammit, it missed. Rain gave a small pout as Maria ducked under her kick just in the nick of time. This match was really getting exciting. Maria was proving to be a good match for Rain. The blonde started to bring her leg back until she was felt Maria's leg sweep at hers. "Wha-?!" She fell on her back, coughing as she hit the mat. Though she didn't let the pain get to her this time. She spun her body around to have her feet face Maria, then while her feet were still raised, she pulled them back to slam them into her opponent's stomach.

When Rain spun around and kicked back at Maria, the red headed girl cursed slightly. She managed to kick back the tiniest bit, crossing her arms over her stomach to block the brunt of the kick. Still, it managed to push her back and made her roll, her red hair tumbling around her as she went head over heels. Still, she ended up on her feet, kneeling, and pulled herself up. She smiled a bit more, grinning and spreading her arms back out.
"You're definitely a match for me... so I'm really enjoying this match ma'am!"
She went back into her stance, exhaling calmly and focusing, ready for her next clash with her opponent

As Maria started to roll back, Rain immediately hopped up. Stay down was a bad move since she'd be very vulnerable. "Phew," This fight's really fun! She thought, smiling as she got back into her stance. Totally a martial arts movie, only missing is off lip-syncs! She gave a small giggle at the thought of it. Joking aside though, Maria was proving to be her match as far as martial arts went. It'd be great to have a sparring partner so she didn't lose her touch, especially with all the wrestling practice Song did with her. "Hehe, you too!" She said, trying to stifle her laughs to stay focused. "He... hehe... s-sorry, I really can't... hehe..." Breathe Rain, breathe... In, out. In, out... In... After a few breaths, Rain regained her focus. "Okay," She started circling around Maria, inching closer in as she looked for any opening.

Maria began to circle as Rain did, the two slowly moving in a rotation, carefully sizing up her opponent. Maria had considered attacking while Rain was out of breath, but she wasn't the type to do that. With her slow strafe, she waited a few moments, and after a few moments Maria nodded. She sprang forward, moving in and closing the distance between herself and her opponent, bringing her leg up in a high kick, her leg lifting as her foot went up towards Raine's head. It was a quick attack, Maria's natural agility and skill showing through as she launched the first attack of the duo's newest clash

In an instance Maria closed in on Rain, the speed had caught her off guard. Crap! By the time she had saw the kick coming it was too late to defend or counter. "Gah!" The forced of the hit made the girl hit the canvas hard, dazing her for a moment. "Ugh..." She moaned, drooling slightly from the blow. Man... that hurt... She thought, staggering back up. Her sight was getting blurry now. Maria's kick really took it's toll. Dammit, I can't fool around anymore. She thought, getting back into her stance. She had to finish this soon before this turned out like her match with Alice.
Okay, no more mercy! Rain began to run back to the ropes, using the recoil to help her gain moment, then as she started to run at Maria she jumped into the air, twirling her body around while attempting to swing a leg out to give Maria a hard kick to her head. Hopeful it would work, she had seen Alice do it in their training and in their match, but she didn't know if she could do it after just watching it. But she needed something that could do to catch Maria off guard and cause heavy damage. It may had been a little risky, but she was determined to make it work.

Maria watched as her opponent went down from the powerful kick, wincing slightly. She backed up the tiniest bit, worried that maaaaybe she had actually kicked Rain a bit too hard. Still, after a few seconds, Rain made it to her feet and the red haired butler breathed a visible sigh of relief that she was okay. Dropping into her stance again the moment Rain did the same, Maria was surprised to suddenly see her opponent move back into retreat- only to launch off the ropes and come at her with an amazing aerial spin and kick. Maria was more than a little impressed by the move- and that was a bit of a mistake, as it left her with no time to dodge. Knowing she couldn't take a hit like that, Maria stepped back a bit, raising both arms over her head and crossing them. Forming a cradle with her arms, she caught the powerful kick, wincing as the force made her knee bend slightly, her leg quaking as the power of the attack rippled down her body.
I IMMEDIATELY REGRET THIS DECISION!
Her leg continued to quake, bending more and more as time seemed to slow for the two martial artists, locked in the struggle as they were. Maria was sweating a bit and she grit her teeth, fueling herself with determination.
d,don't you dare buckle- I c,can't go down that easy!
Maria's leg held in the end, and though she could feel her arms throbbing at the point of impact. Blocking that strike took a visible toll on her, she fought back, using her own strength to, in the next instant, push back up against Rain. She hoped to throw the other fighter off balance with the push, where she could move in and follow up.

Rain felt her blow hit. She was actually surprised by that alone. She had only seen Song do that move a few times and figured that it'd backfire on her. Though Rain was a martial artist, her fighting style wasn't as flashing as Song's, so her acrobatics were lacking. Though it seemed that her kicked hadn't done as much as she wanted. Maria had blocked it just in the nick of time. Rain was able to catch a glimpse of the pain she had caused the girl. Rain felt a little bad about hurting the girl so much. It looked like the kick might had actually broken something in her arms or legs. Before she could do or say anything else though, she was pushed off, her butt hitting the canvas. "Ow..." She groaned, rubbing her bottom. The landing could had gone better, but at least she knew that her kick had done it's job. Maria's arms and legs were badly damaged now, giving Rain a shot at causing some heavy damage if she went out her hard enough.

Maria panted for a moment as she saw Rain take a hard landing on her rear. Her knee was sore, and her lower arms were screaming in pain. She knew she'd regret this match later- but she refused to back down. Knowing that her body would hate her for this later- but also knowing she had to take her opportunity while she actually had one- Maria shifted her weight, leaned, and pushed forward across the ring. She leapt forward, her voice rising as she pulled her arm up and back
"HIIIIYAH!"
Maria came down on Rain's location while she was still on the mat, fist swinging down towards her opponent with the combined force of her weight, momentum, and gravity. Maria had no intention of leaving herself open again, and she knew she had to strike hard and fast and take Rain down.

Rain was glad to see Maria still had some fight in her, though at the same time she was upset about it too. As fun as this fight was, it was dragging on, and the two of them were running out of energy. Damn... I don't know if I can even get back up now... She thought, panting. That kick had taken a lot out of her and she was still recovering. Unfortunately, Maria was ready to continue. As Maria charged at Rain for a punch, she tried to block the blow with her arms. She was able to, but the force of the punch still knocked to her back, damaging her arms. "Ah!" She cried out, trying to get back up.

Maria was tempted to continue her assault, but she decided that, maybe, she could press her advantage and take the match right now. Diving forward to tackle Rain before she could get up, Maria attempted to take her back down to the ground. She would then proceeded to try to lay down across the top of Rain, lifting up one of her legs. if successful, Maria would have a light blush on her face as she put what strength she had into the grapple- but pins were far from the red headed butler's strong point. She would grit her teeth slightly, focusing her efforts on keeping Rain's shoulders to the mat as the count began. She just needed to hold her down for three seconds after all- how hard could that be?
