First time for everything

So I've never put up one of those "I'm leaving for a day" threads, but here's something like it.

I recently received some news that really knocked me on my ass. The sort of thing that changes everything.

Usually, I try to make sure I get posts to people quick enough, even if I'm not feeling the thread at the moment. I don't want to be one of those people that just leaves people hanging for no reason or anything, but for now I'm not going to worry about getting posts up. If I do post to anything, it will be for the therapeutic value of it.

Anyway, that's my deal for the time being. Nothing personal if I ignore you for a while. Unless I was already ignoring you for personal reasons, then it's probably still personal, but still it'd be not-personal first, and then personal after that. " title="Neutral" />

If anyone has PM'd me and not got a response, or if we have a thread that it seems like I've forgotten about or something, don't take it personally. I'm still not being diligent with my AFW stuff because I've still got a lot of other things overshadowing my recreational stuff.

So I'm not ignoring anyone, I'm just only half-here.

Go handle your stuff. You don't owe anybody here an explanation for anything.

I'm not GOING to handle my stuff, the point is that I'm not putting in the effort to keep up with everything on here in light of certain other things that make it difficult to find the energy to do so.
