WAS2 Reunion TAG Team Match (Eclipse vs Mars & Mercury)

Chigusa quickly grabbed Megumi's hand and pulled her up, tagging her out as she did. Megumi didn't say anything, merely nodding as she went out of the ring with her hand on her back, groaning a little in pain. Rei knew how to pull a powerful submission, and Megumi payed for her overconfidence. She knew now that she couldn't take Rei as lightly as she did before. The girl had gotten better.

Chigusa was going after Rei now though, eager to hurt her a little after what she just did. She quickly went over to Rei, trying to grab her by the head as she was getting up, pulling her up roughly before sending a knee into Rei's gut to double her over!

"Gahh!" Rei opened her mouth as she doubled over, her mouth gaped wide open as her foe dug her fist into her stomach. The purple haired girl was too dazed by Chigusa's high flying maneuver to be able to defend herself from such an attack. She faltered onto one knee as she hugged Chigusa's waist pathetically as she tried to regain her composure.

Hikaru waved her hands, "Rei! Come back! Quick!"

Rei would groan in response not knowing if that was indeed an option at the moment. "Ch-Chigusa?... mhf..."

It seemed the cosplay fighter had pulled all the pieces together finally realizing what happened.

Rei was holding onto Chigusa quite tightly at the moment, Almost foolishly so since Chigusa was her opponents and she wasn't planning on being merciful. She needed to even up the score; Megumi was hurt now and if Rei wasn't in the same condition, then their opponents would be ahead. That would be quite embarrassing for the reigning champs. So Chigusa grabbed Rei by the arms and hoisted her up, putting her head underneath Rei's arm.

"Let's see you recover from this," Chigusa said as she tried to lift Rei off the mat and fell over backwards, trying to hit Rei hard with a Northern Lights Suplex, bridging at the end for the pin!

Rei was still pretty out of it as Chigusa grabbed her head as she hoisted up in the air and her back was slammed into the mat by the suplex. As the other girl bridged for the pin, Rei rolled her head to the side as if she was unconscious. Her vision was now blurrier than ever before looking at the ring lights as they blinded her. The ref's voice called out to her, "ONE!"

Rei didn't respond still dazed as she groaned, her back crying out to her as her body began to shift around.

"Two!" The ref screamed as Rei's eyes shot wide open and with all her might she gave a might roar breaking the pin with brute strength driving her shoulder's off the mat before rolling herself over. Rei would roll back onto one knee as she clumsily stood up, leaning on the ropes for support. Rei panted a bit before shaking it off, she needed to find a way to stay alive in the ring for a bit longer. She looked at Megumi who stood at the turnbuckle, giving her a smile and a wink just to piss her off some more.

"Ugh..." Rei would take this time to recover and would wait to see what Chigusa would do first.

Chigusa bridged for the pin beautifully, holding Rei down on the mat as the ref counted. However, despite the damage she did, Rei still had enough fight in her to kick out by count two. Megumi shook the ring ropes in frustration as Rei pushed upwards and broke Chigusa's pin, as thr purple-hairled idol yelled out as Rei slipped out. Chigusa fell down, smoothing out her skirt first and then rolling quickly onto her front and getting back up as Rei lay on the mat.

"That was good Rei, I guess you can recover after that," Chigusa said. She stepped over and attempted to grab Rei and pull her up once more, before trying to toss her out to the ropes. If Rei comes bouncing back, Chigusa would try and step in to deliver a clothesline to Rei's neck!

Rei smiled at the compliment as she was thrown across the ropes, grunting as she bounced off the ropes running toward Chigusa as she had a clothesline with her name on it. Rei was also ready for it as she blocked Chigusa's arm with her hands grabbing firmly onto her forearm as she pulled it down, stepping behind her. Gripping her arm, she would pull it into a hammer lock position before stepping back forcing Chigusa back as Re i would drop down to one knee as her arm came around Chigusa's throat putting her into a dragon sleeper submission.

"Nighty...Night...Chigusa-chan..." Rei said as she pressed her weight down against Chigusa's throat.

"Yah-huh?" Chigusa said as her clothesline got stopped by Rei, who grabbed her arm. She had no time to even react before Rei twisted her arm behind her, making Chigusa yell out in pain as she tried to resist. Rei then looped one arm around Chigusa's neck, before dropping onto her knees and taking the idol down with her, choking her in the sleeper submission! Chigusa's free arm desperately tried to pry at Rei's arm as she tried to get air. The crowd roared with approval at this stunning turn. Rei now had Chigusa trapped in a devastating hold, and they all knew Chigusa wasn't going to last for long in it.

"Gh... n-no!" Chigusa grunted. She gripped Rei's arm tightly with her free hand, but she wasn't able to break out of this. Her face began turning red from lack of air. At this rate, Rei really was about to put her out!

Rei smiled softly watching her foe struggle for air, "I'm sorry to do this Chigusa... but, you're my opponent...no hard feelings...kay?"

The Cosplay fighter was in it to win it, she really didn't want to put Chigusa to sleep since she respected her tremendously as a wrestler and a friend. Rei pulled Chigusa's arm farther up her back tightening the hammerlock hold as well wanting Chigusa to tap out or pass out.

"Wooh! GO Rei!" Hikaru said as her partner seemed more capable then she thought.

The crowd was going wild as they watched the match, it was non stop back and fourth action. Rei would grin, having the fan's support was comforting even if they were the underdog vote.

"Ghh-ah..." Chigusa groaned, desperately trying to suck in air through her constricted airway. Rei tightened the hammerlock as well, causing even more pain to the already weakened idol, making Chigusa kick her legs and desperately struggle. She wasn't very good at breaking out of submissions, and it brought back horrible memories of what other people did to her. Tears flowed out of the corners of her eyes; she was close to giving up.

That is, until she saw out of the corner of her eye Megumi desperately trying to run into the ring. Chigusa gathered all that was left of her strength and tried to struggle more, trying to turn Rei's body so that she couldn't see Megumi coming until it was too late. Megumi would run in and attempt to knee Rei on the side of the head, hoping to knock her silly and save her partner before it was too late.

Rei continued to apply as much pressure as she could right to the last moment before she heard something running up towards her.

"Rei!" Hikaru screamed as she tried to warn her partner.

All Rei could do was turn her head just in time to see Megumi's knee smash into her face, the cosplay fighter instantly released Chigusa from the hold before falling onto her side, "Ahhhhhh!" She screamed into her hands as she rolled around on the mat holding her face. Rei kicked the mat with her feet before rolling over to her stomach and back onto her back again.

"Ref! Where are you looking!" Hikaru screamed at the official as she pointed at Megumi.
