Well, starting with the more recent 2005 series, the Doctor the last member of a race called Time Lord's, a race of aliens that humans greatly resemble, who can see time and travel through it, so he travels about and has adventures, his like 920 years old, and whenever he is injured near death, his cells actually rengenerate themselves and his body, healing him but causing him to take a new form and personality, thus whenever an actor would leave the role, a new actor would come in and the old would regenerate into the new, hence, the 11th Doctor.

He likes to take human companions with him on these adventures, since humans resemble time lords and all, and they usually end up having to save the universe from his enemies, of which he has MANY..

Seriously, just about every creature in the universe is scared of him, except for his allies.

Of the 11 Doctors, David Tennant, the 10th doctor, from 2006-2009, was voted the best Doctor ever, therefore, look up some of his stuff, its awesome.

Also, his ship is called the Tardis, and it looks like a police box on the outside, while the inside is much bigger alien ship of awesomeness.

You sound like some of my brothers. So much into Sci-fi. I think its cute and all, so no worries. I can watch something, but I can never get into anything that was already running into its 3rd or 6th season already. I'll have to catch up first before I can properly enjoy it. Maybe I'll settle for DVDs? lolol

Trust me, start with the 2005 series, the classic series would take far to long to understand, and the new series is better.

Atleast you got something interesting to watch. Jersey Shore is losing steam with me. lol. They dont even play it here in Dominica. I miss USA.

Oh the usual, President Obama tries to get something done, like pass a bill or law..or put on pants, and every republican and some democrats oppose him on every single issue.

However, he did find and kill Osama Bin Laden, so maybe he will finally get some credit.

I remember the election during my trip over there. Every Junior High school was packed with people that day. Lines stretching as far as 3 blocks. I was in NYC, Queens during that time. I never seen young teens so eager to vote before. Shocked the shit out of me. But then again, I know nothing about USA and its culture. lol.

Sounds like a pregnant woman on her 8th month. I had to take care of my aunt when she was carrying her next child, so I kinda know. lol.
Only difference is that she cries and moans and gets teary when dont tend to her. She claims that we're neglecting her and such. Ugh...for the first time, i can sympathise with men on very few accounts. We tend to get on alot of people's nerves. lol
