Maya tried to hang on, but to no avail, however, it would seem that she fell forward, maybe even landing on top of Angel.

Angel was standing close enough to the cage that Maya would miss her as she fell, hitting the mat nearby. The latina would quickly turn and drop onto her as she lit the mat, lifting one of Maya's strong legs and hugging it closely to herself for a pin.

"One!"

Maya was stunned not to hear the first count, she would hear the ref count "Two!" But Maya would jerk her way out of the pin before the third count, she would slowly start to rise.

Angel had a feeling Maya wasn't done yet, so as she started to rise she would grab her by her hair, tugging and pulling it sharply to one side, then trying to throw her back to the mat.

If Maya didn't fight her off, she would then move around to her head and lift her up into a sitting position, kneeling behind her and going to wrap her arm around her neck with a tight sleeper hold.

Maya would feel her hair getting pulled, but she would quickly grab Angel's wrists and would start to twist them. If she would be able to get Angel to let go, she would attempt to knee Angel in the head three times with her uninjured knee.

Angel would be forced to release Maya, but before Maya could knee her in the head she would jerk her wrists free and quickly back away from her, giving her opponent time to get back up on her feet.

Maya would get up and get back into her stance, she would approch Angel and attempt a quick snap kick, and if it worked, she would start swinging her fist at Angel, until she blocked or dodged her punches.

Angel would try to dodge away from the kick, knowing better than to let Maya hit her with one of those legs, then as her began punching at her Angel would raise her arms up to block them, slowly backing away from Maya again.

Maya was seeing that Angel was blocking her punches, so Maya would grab Angel, attempting to land a powerbomb. However, since she didn't know what to do that well, her powerbomb would be extremely sloppy.

(Trying to grab her for a powerbomb while she's standing? Heh.)

As Maya went to try and lift her up for the powerbomb, Angel would wrap both her legs tight around her head, trying to send her to the mat with a quick huracanrana move.
