Leah Shaw vs Levi the Great [Standard Match]

Leah whirled around, hitting something before she even saw what it was. She had already felt rewarded for the desperate attack until she saw her punch intercepted by Levi's raised arm. She blinked starting on somewhat dejected just before he dug his boot into her stomach.

She cried out in a yelp as she was bent in half, gasping for air that had been robbed from her lungs. She groaned softly as he hooked an arm around her neck. She felt her own arm lifted and draped over his with no real resistance. As he clamped down his fingers on the cloth at her waist, gathering it up into his palm, she knew what was about to happen.

With a heave he started to lift her up. "Nononono!" She did all she could at this point. Her hand reached out, grasping for the waist of his pants as well, trying to root them together. Leah kicked her legs wildly, trying to make herself too difficult to be brought up and over. She needed to get herself grounded again.

If she failed to get herself back down, Levi would be able to get her up and plant her on her back on the mat. If he failed, her hand would snap from his waist band to his thigh, trying to hook his leg and reverse it into a fisherman suplex. If she managed to reserve the move fully she would keep it held on impact, arching her back to bridge the move into a potential pin.

Kicking her straight in the gut and folding her over, giving the Great One a chance to do something big on the girl, moving in and doing the necessary preparations for takeoff and the crash landing that will surely follow. He has her where he wants her to be and all that's left is to lift her up and...

Lift her up and....

Well that was it, he did lift her up but Leah managed to stop him, her hand on his pants and she did her dammed best to not get lifted over. And it worked. Soon as she got grounded, Levi would be the one to be lifted up, although unlike Leah, he didn't get himself grounded. Well he did. Just not the kind he likes. 

Grunting hard as his back was slammed to the canvas from the fisherman suplex, Leah, arching her back and going for a pin attempt the ref sliding in to check his shoulders are down before starting. "One!" 

You got to be kidding! She's pinning the Great One? Blasphemous!

Just as she gets to two, Levi would kick out from the pin, rolling to his side before he would soon try to get to his knees.

She didn't have the wherewithal to wedge her leg with his to stop the suplex, so she did the only other thing she knew how to do. Make herself too hard to lift. She wasn't exactly heavy, though lucky for her Levi was about her size and her flailing proved too much for him.

As she touched down, she planted her boot soles firmly, looping her arm around Levi's leg to rob him of his balance and another attempt to left her. She didn't even have time to be relieved, immediately bending at the knees before arching herself backwards. She strained at first, her midsection screaming at her still sore from the boot she received.

She hoisted him up and over her head, sending him crashing to the mat enough to shake the ring. Back lifting off the mat, her legs cam up on her tip toes as she held her breath counting along with the referee. One... Two.

Levi buckled himself free, already moving away in a roll by the time she had sat herself up. She slowly pushed herself up to her feet, clutching her stomach to rub it gently. She eyed him slightly annoyed, wincing. Things had gone wrong fast in a hurry. She was going to have to be more careful. Straightening up, she took a moment to fix her hair with a huff.

Arrogant as he was, that suplex attempt that he did seemed like eveything will go just as well. The dropkick? A minor disturbance. Once he hit that suplex, he could go on to show everyone how great he is. Though his arrogance had caused him to underestimate his opponent some, and after stopping his attempt, he got himself suplexed instead. Leah would go for the pin attempt but he was not done. Not by a long shot.

Slowly getting up to his feet, the back sore from the slam onto his back, adding that to his chest hurting as well. Sure, he was getting a fight, always quite nice to have a fight in your hands. But the problem is just that! Admittedly, he didn't think she would give him much trouble. But after that, he had to take her down. Painfully and quickly if he could help it.

If Leah looked at him slightly annoyed, Levi looking even more so, slamming his palm on the mat in frustration before straightening up to his feet. Exhaling air, the great one came up towards her, his fist cocked and ready to fly as he shot his right fist towards Leah's jaw, coming a bit wide and hard as she took a moment to make herself look good other than to focus on the match it seems.

Something about the way he was looking at her made her smirk. She couldn't place it, but he looked slightly frustrated with her. An early pin attempt like that had that effect on people she supposed. He had been rather nasty to her up to this point, so she soaked that look in and came away rather pleased at herself.

As he approached she stood at the ready, eyes unblinking not wanting miss a single detail. She immediately dialed in on the arm he had reared back. She sparred with her brother Edgar on the regular, he was more boxer than wrestler, so when Levi threw his hook, she was quick to lean herself to the side and back, bobbing out of the way as it soared just short of hitting her.

She leaned back in, retaliating with a blow of her own. Her arm swung high, up and over, palm coming down hard to attempt to clap him across the chest in a vicious knife edge chop. While not as powerful as a punch, the wrestling mainstay move had undeniable bite to it and as always was a fan favorite, especially when it sounded so painful.

Alright, clean slate. That pin attempt, didn't happen. He was going to win. There was no way he was going lose to this girl. Never. So now it's time to bring the pain and spin that jaw of hers so she won't be smiling anymore. And with this punch coming towards her, it was going to be a 'Great' hit.

However, Leah continues to surprise her, the Great One not knowing Leah's experience with boxers from his brother, deftly moving back for his hook to sail past her, only just short of hitting her. His eyes widened in shock, the sluggard like shot having to follow through so he kept with the momentum as his body turned as she leaned in, throwing a hard knife edge chop to his chest. Doesn't have the blunt, raw power as a punch, it is precise and accurate. That and it stings like a bitch as it clapped his chest. "Gargh!" His face winced as he bent forward some, his hands quick to cover his stinging chest, even the crowd wincing nearby.

“Heh, yeah!” She hooted as her slap landed clean, the crisp raw smacking sound getting a rise from the crowd. She pushed her advantage, reaching out with her free arm to try and shove Levi upright again. “You like that?” She absolutely beam with pride, the adorable girl smacking the hell out of the great one in all his pride. It felt better than it would normally knowing how little he thought of her.

Leah drew back her arm, attempting to deliver another thunderous knife edged chop where the first had landed using the red imprint she had left as a bullseye for her target. Just one was never enough, and without him able or willing to fight back against her, she was going to hammer him with as many chops as she could to rally the crowd behind her more and more with each one.

"Dammit.... He muttered to himself as he took the knife edge chop hard, Leah definitely getting all too cocky before the great one. Gahh! That damn smile! When he gets his hands on her....

Though that would have to wait a while as he was shoved upright again, only to take another hard strike to the chest. And another. And another. And anoth-GODDAMMIT!! With each chop, his chest went red, the crowd counting the many slaps that Leah landed. This is getting ridiculous. This needs to be shut down, now.

And he would try to do so, the Great One trying to break the momentum and throw another kick towards the gut of Leah again. It stopped her once and it could do it again possibly!

The Tension crowd had become white hot after each chop Leah rained down on Levi seemed more vicious than the last. Booming cheers, a few chants, and a decent amount of high pitched whistling. The counting however is what did it. She wanted to drive that number as high as possible the second it started. She admittedly got a bit too into it. Losing focus on the actual match as she hit him over and over. The ease in which she was able to manhandle him caused her to drop her guard, figuring the exchange was hers to control.

"Guuugh!" Levi’s sudden kick took her and the fans by surprise, both seeming gasping in unison. She staggered back clutching her stomach, dropping down to one knee as she hunched over with a wheeze. She winced, looking up at Levi with one eye pressed tightly shut. She tried to get to her feet slowly, he had plenty of time to react if he wasn't still reeling from the chops. If he didn't press his advantage while she was down, she would lunge herself at his midsection, attempting to tackle him to the mat.

Ok, he shut that shit down. The fanfare and cheers that Leah may have had, that is all but gone the moment Levi sent that boot right into Leah's gut, sending her to one knee. He gasped, those knife chops still hurting like a bitch but he at least got her down. Still, he was annoyed, the fact that the crowd was cheering for her at that point. Bitter that she got the fanfare. But this was his night. Not hers.

Bending over, his left arm leaves his chest. letting his right tend to it and the red bullseye mark on it, reaching to grab a handful of her hair. Coughing and wheezing, the chest shots did do a number on her, but with that gut shot, she looked worse. Yanking at it so she could look up at him. "I dunno... who the fuck...you think you are...but once I'm...*coughs*...done with you...you'll never think of wrestling again..." Some ire in his tone as he brought his right fist back, cocking back before firing a straight punch towards the side of her head. Not as powerful as his last attempt but still can hurt. And she can't do that boxing weave shit when Levi has a hold of her hair...
