Rogue Harpy vs Jesse Rogers

Just when Jesse thought Rogue couldn’t have possibly annoyed her more, once again the girl managed to surprise her.

The taunting words elicited an intense growl from the trapped blonde, which was barely able to escape her lips at all thanks to the tight vice around her neck and throat. Jesse had no idea what in the hell “ne pensez-vous pas” meant, but given the rest of what Rogue had said she was entirely sure it wasn’t a compliment. Not that a compliment would’ve done anything to ease her mood right now anyway, but still. And things only went from bad to worse when a sudden twist from Rogue rolled them over.

Jesse looked like a turtle that had been pushed over onto it’s back. Her arms and legs thrashed about pitifully, and she was fully aware of how foolish the debuting rookie was making her look - and with apparent ease. Despite her attempts to play this smart, things were quickly only going from bad to worse for Jesse. And while there was probably a much more scientifically effective method to escaping this hold than going for the ropes, the tight pressure she was enduring was making it a tad difficult to think very carefully. So, now in this new and even less flattering position, she continued trying to pry at Rogue’s unbudging arm while reaching out as far as her right foot could reach. And after a few seconds, though it felt like an eternity to Jesse, she finally felt the rope against her big toe, and the ref was ready to make the call.

“Break! Let go of the hold!” the ref called out to Rogue, ready to start a warning count if she didn’t immediately comply.

"My my. Always so angry." Rouge teased as she torqued the hold. "You should probably get that chip off your shoulder. It's messing with your judgement..."

Rouge has Jesse on her back, putting the pressure on the hold to soften her up. Quite amusing to see the MMA fighter's limbs flailing about. The blonde knew what she was doing, words used to intentionally agitate her foe. That and because it's fun playing around and teasing with one too. It would be quite funny to see her getting knocked out from this position, Jesse could pry at her arm all she likes but she ain't budging.

But of course, all things have to end and Jesse managed to get her big toe on the rope. Rouge pouted like a child who didn't get her way. Rolling her eyes as the ref called to the blonde, giving her a warning to break the hold. She kept the hold on and didn't comply just yet, the ref starting the warning count.

One!

Two!

And she eventually let go before the ref could get to three. Almost as if breaking a pin attempt as Rouge releases Jesse's neck. No doubt she would be gasping after that. Rouge rolled away from the MMA fighter, getting to her feet. Still watching the strawberry blonde opponent with a little smirk creeping in.

Jesse had finally reached the ropes, but freedom didn’t immediately follow, even despite the referee’s warning. For a few more seconds we had to endure more taunts, and more of the agonizing chokehold. Only a few seconds, but it felt far longer.

Once Rogue finally release the hold Jesse immediately rolled onto her front, coughing and gasping profusely. One hand lightly rubbed against her neck in an attempt to ease the pain that had been inflicted, the other braces against the mat to hold her up. Jesse has come into this planning fully on putting this cocky rookie in her place. Instead, she was the one on her hands and knees gasping for air while Rogue just happily stood over her with that insufferable little grin.

“Shit!” Jesse cursed, slamming a fist against the mat before slowly pulling herself up, using the ropes for assistance. The ref came to check on her, only for the blonde to shove her away. She painted a moment longer, trying to regain her breath, then threw herself into a sprint at her foe, lowering her shoulder and attempting to plow Rogue right into one of the corners!

A few seconds more wouldn't hurt. Much.

It took a while longer for Rouge to release the hold, hoping to get something more out of that hold. It was too good of a position to just let go from. In fact, she was quite torn. She did want to get even more and let the hold drag on before it gets to five. But she still had honour and would like to get more out of this match. Rouge almost pittied the poor girl.

As expected, Jesse rolled over, coughing and gasping like she just got her head out of the water. Amusing to the master thief as she happily stood there and waited for her opponent to get up. She saw everything, even the fist slam to the canvas. Fustration is setting in. Should tell her not to underestimate the smaller blonde.

Though perhaps it was Rouge's turn to be complacent, relishing the moment Jesse's increasing irritation as she pushed the ref away. She took a moment too long and for a little too cocky as Jesse charged in like a bull, tackling the smaller blonde, and she finds herself quickly going back, her feet moving to get some traction in, but it would be too late for that.

"Ghh!"

Rouge hit the corner hard, her back smashing against the padded turnbuckles. Almost had the wind knocked out of her as the bigger Jesse has her trapped in the corner.

It wasn't smart at all to rush right back into the fray the way Jesse had just done, especially after spending so much time caught in a guillotine choke. But clearly she didn't care too much about that at the moment. The enraged blonde had backed her cocky adversary into a corner, and now it was time for some payback.

One forearm pressed itself against Rogue's upper chest to hold her in place, while the other reared back and launched forward repeatedly, aiming a barrage of relentless blows right at her foe's pretty face! A loud shout accompanied each strike Jesse threw. She didn't care that she was more than likely to tire herself out quickly if she kept this up for long. And she didn't care that everyone could see the extent that Rogue had already managed to get under her skin with so little effort.

Right now the only thing Jesse did care about was painting Rogue's face black and blue, and unless either the cornered girl could find a way to defend herself or the ref forced her to back away, it almost seemed as if nothing was going to stop Jesse from pummeling away at Rogue for as long as she wanted!

Rouge made a mistake there. She got too cocky. Which she will admit.

Now, she finds herself trapped between a turnbuckle and a pissed off Jesse Rogers. Not the best place at the moment and she can see why, Jesse's forearm pinned right on her chest (oh my~) while the other arm is used for punching her smug face. "Ahh! Oww! Agh!" Punch after punch after punch was thrown at Rouge, the blonde certainly having some power in those shots there. Added with her fury, they were devastating.

This was not a position that she wanted to stay or return to and she needed to do something to get out of this predicament. One arm comes up as a shield for her face, not a good shield but it's something. Having shots in the forearm is better than having a shot to the head. Looking to get her own momentum going,her left knee swings up high, Rouge is banking that Jesse is seeing so much red that she might not catch that knee to the gut. If that works, a left hook to the jaw wouldn't hurt as well. Would be considered payback for those punches of hers...
