Apologies for doing like...absolutely nothing over the weekend. In a shitty spot at the moment and this forum isn't really at my top priority believe it or not.

Lots of shit hitting--Car broke down, turns out the motor locked up. Can't afford the price of a new one nor can I afford the price of a used car. I work a delivery job and the boss isn't too pleased nor is he responding to my 'loan' request for me to work off.

Going in for a financial council with this used car place with only $500 to my name. Expecting the worst.

Oh my god, really sorry to hear that. But yeah you have way more important stuff to worry about right now, you shouldn't worry about posting at all.

Try to look for a Dacia Sandero if there happens to be one. It´s a Renault(French) subsidiary company who builds it in Romania, that´s a good company. The car cost new 7000€, an old model could be affordable for you without being rust on wheels.
A Volkswagen is always worth the money, the engine is sturdy. I bought a 2003 model Polo recently and it is a sturdy and reliable car. A model for 500 bucks may be at the edge of destruction though. But I had an old one who was stolen but did not show much rust despite being 17 years old then and costing only 500 bucks too.
