Do any of you guys know how to Create a Pokemon Game?

Hi guys, I've been watching a couple of my favorite Youtubers doing Nuzlocke Challenges on Rom Hack games of Pokemon, and I got the crazy idea on making a Pokemon game myself. I've been hashing out the story a bit on my computer, but then I realized I have no cluue how to program, I'm more of a storyboard guy. I was wondering if any of you knew how to get started on making one of these games?

I used to be really big on ROM Hacks about five or six years ago. :')

Last I checked, the tools for the GBA games were outdated. They should run in compatibility mode.

The "Advance X" tools are really helpful. IIRC, they were Advance Maps, Advance Trainer, Advance Items, etc...

Don't do ROM hacks. Go old-school and do a forum-based Pokemon roleplay game. As we all know full well, forum roleplay sites are dying out and they need all the support they can get. I ran a Pokemon forum for years and years, but even the most popular ones are dying now.
