It was definitely risky, but Songbird managed to escape with her counter strikes. With Lilith now grounded, she can now do some damage of her own. So, she would try to grab one of her opponent's arms and keep it close to her while pinning her legs across Lilith's body. If this worked, Songbird can start to apply some pressure in that arm for an armbar.

The armbar was basic for Songbird while at the same time a bit technical. And yet, it would be greatly effective when done right.

The armbar was locked in on her by her opponent making her let out a groan of pain. She shook her head as she tried to focus on getting out of the hike and not the pain. Gripping her opponents leg she'd push it up and roll her body to her opponent which would roll songbird up into a pin.

Songbird would hear Lilith start to groan in pain, indicating that the armbar was working in her favor. She did her best to ensure that she applies as much pressure as she could to work that arm. But all of a sidden, she felt one of her legs being gripped before getting rolled up into a pin. Lilith was able to reverse her situation and Songbird had to let go of that arm and try to kick herself out of the pin.

If this worked, she would back away and return to her fighting stance.

Songbird was able to kick herself out of the pin and let go of the armbar which is all Lilith really wanted her to do. Now that her arm was free she needed to quickly get back to putting the pressure on her opponent before she could recover to much. Though her opponent was quicker than she was so she'd have to be careful with whatever she tried.

Moving at Songbird as the girl got into a fighting stance she'd bring up her foot like she was going for a kick to the stomach. Instead though it be a feint and whatever Songbird did Lilith would simply bring her foot down and go in for a short range tackle on the girl.

Songbird would lightly bounce on her boots as she saw Lilith start to get up also. It was a good thing that she got out of the pin or else she would be in real deep trouble. When Lilith rose up her foot for what looked like a kick, Songbird would put her arms up tp block. But it turned out to be feint and Lilith took advantage of that trick to go for a short-range tackle.

"OOF!" Songbird coughed out as she got tackled to the mat. She would quickly try to pull her arms back in hopes of quickly defending herself if Lilith attacks her while grounded.

With songbird down on the ground Lilith had her right where she wanted her. Her opponent was smart enough to bring her hands up but that wasn't going to save her. She would begin to slam down punches into her opponents abdomen. Her fists would feel like bricks into her unfortunate opponents stomach.

"GUGH!!" Songbird coughed out as she felt the first punch to the abdomen. And from there, Lilith would follow with another, then another, then another. Those hits felt hard and Somgbird knew that she had to stop her before the damage goes on further. So, she would attempt to block or catch the next punch with both arms before pushing Lilith back to make her get off.

If this worked, Songbird would also roll off to the side to find time to recover.
