Felina Rodriguez vs. Armando 'Army' Rodriguez: All in the Family

Even though the bulk of his brain was on another planet, Army was vaguely aware of what was going on around him at the moment. He could hear the crowd losing their collective shit as they watched him get busted in his face and go down. His eyes were shut, but he was dimly aware of a shadow casting over them. He could feel the weight on his chest, and the shake of the ring as the referee dropped down for the count. She would have to pin him like that, wouldn't she?

"2...!"

He could sense all these things, but doing anything about the was a different matter altogether. He tried to get his shoulder up, but his body was unresponsive, disconnected by Felina's devastating blow. If he'd had a minute to recoup, maybe even a dozen or so seconds, he would've been fine, but he didn't have that. He had less than one moment, and that was not enough. Not nearly.

"3...!"

"Shit." Army let the back of his head bang against the canvas. Amy was going to give him no end of crap for this...

Even though she was panting from fatigue, the moment the three count was made Felina couldn’t help but smile brightly and raise both fists into the air while she sat on Army. The latina now officially had her first victory as a wrestler, but it felt so much bigger than simply winning a wrestling match. She now felt like she had truly earned her place in Tension, and she wasn’t going to have to move to Tokyo and try to start all over again from scratch.

Oh, and she’d also won Army as a chauffeur for a day of fun in Kyoto with Carmen.

She brought one hand back down to her hip while the other reached down to give Army a couple pats on the cheek. “I’ll be looking forward to that little tour.” she said before getting back to her feet and heading over to the ropes. Gingerly stepping between them, Felina exited the ring and made her way back up the aisle, high fiving several fans along the way before disappearing through the curtain and heading back to the locker room.
