Cuffs and Consequences! David vs Jean (Handcuffs Match)

An elbow strike, then another, then another! Jean gritted his teeth and continued to strike as quickly as he could until David grabbed his arms. They struggled briefly for control, Jean trying to break free and David trying to keep him still, until David changed tactics.

Suddenly air was rushing by him and then he was laid out on the mat in a nasty powerbomb, sending spasming shockwaves throughout his spine. This beginning to become an annoying familiar position for him, though this particular instance hurt more than the previous.

Jean panted from exertion, his chest heaving up and down. They'd barely begun the match but they were already tearing into each other like animals, fighting harder than either of their previous matches. Clearly both of them had come fully prepared for this match and dead-set on winning.

But before he could launch any more counter-strikes, Jean needed to get away for a short break. Jean rolled away from his boyfriend towards the ropes.

Dave backed away from Jean and smiled, his chest heaving and sweat rolling down his brow, "Same tactic won't work on me twice Jean."

Getting into a ready position, he went on the offensive again, while he knew Jean was still shaken from the powerbomb. Instead of going for the head again, he drove his fist into Jean's solar plexus, followed by a chop to the back of the neck when he doubled over.

Jean listened to the sound of David's approaching footsteps, preparing himself for what's to come. He couldn't keep taking blow after blow, he needed to get more shots of his own in. After being brought up to his feet, he see's Dave begin to throw a punch towards the center of his chest.

Jean grabs his wrist in mid-flight, pulling it towards him to keep David's momentum going as Jean then slips behind him. Jean keeps a hold of that wrist, now wrenching it behind David and tucking it under his arm. Jean draped his left leg over on top of David's, and then pulled David's arm over more and twisted his upper half. In it's finality it was an abdominal stretch! Finally Jean had gotten a chance to apply a submission hold, and he was going to milk it for all it was worth.

"Then I'll just have to try new things" Jean panted, taking his free elbow and driving it into David's exposed side.

Dave was not expecting for Jean to counter that punch. They were tearing at each other so much, it was likely that by the time someone WAS cuffed, the captive would be so beaten that the only bed they would see is an infirmary.

But as he cried out in pain from both the abdominal stretch and the strike to his side, he tried to think of a way to get free. Jean's head was close enough so there was one way to work out of this.

Fighting through the pain, he took his free hand and slammed it into Jean's temple, now completely defenseless. Dave kept punching, now leaving Jean with two options: Release the hold, or have a bruised face to go with the bruised ego.

"Gahhh!" Jean shouted in pain when the first punch impacted his temple, rattling around his skull a bit. When the second one came flying, Jean knew his options were going to be limited. As a last resort, Jean tucked his face into David's neck, forcing the punches into the sides of his head rather than his face.

Jean pulled David's arm as hard as he could while simultaneously bending him to the side and driving his elbow in. And for each few seconds that he held on, he was rewarded with a sloppy hit to the head.

"Grrrr enough!" Jean barked, releasing David and shoving him forward. He took a step and then jumped into the air, driving both of his feet into David's backside with a dropkick.

Jean hit the ground with a thud but he was quick to flip back onto his feet, racing to the opposite side of the ring and right into the corner. He dug his hands into and behind the padding, trying his luck to see if he could find a pair of cuffs. With 2 cuffs spread over 4 rings, he had about a 50/50 chance of finding them.

And the sooner he could get his hands on a pair, the sooner he could win! Unlike a normal match, he didn't need to beat David senseless for a pin, but simply to click a pair of cuffs closed.

Finally released from the submission hold, Dave was eager to turn the tide of the match in his favor. The entire fight had been equally balanced between Dave's slams and punches, and Jean's submission holds, but not for long.

Dave felt the dropkick but, like their first match used the momentum to roll to his feet. He saw Jean looking for the first pair of cuffs, and realized that was the key to victory. If you cuff your opponent with just one, it will immobilize them completely, leaving the other with no option but to accept defeat. Since Jean was so concerned, Dave was gonna help him out.

Grabbing Jean, he slammed his head into the padded turnbuckle three times, before throwing him to the mat. He needed a finisher that Jean hasn't seen yet. One that would knock him senseless until he was able to find at least one pair of cuffs. Then he remembered the Hulkbuster, the ONE move Jean had never seen.

One moment Jean was searching for the cuffs and the next his face was eating turnbuckle three times and then unceremoniously tossed to the ground. Man, David really wanted to mess up his face this match, what with all those punches and face slams. The corners might be padded, but that didn't mean you couldn't feel the force behind it either.

Jean tries to sit up immediately but is hit with an intense wave of dizziness, making him curl back over onto his stomach and shut his eyes. At the very least, he hadn't found any cuffs in that turnbuckle so David would be out of luck.

Opening one eye, Jean dragged himself towards a different corner, constantly looking over his shoulder to see where David was. The nausea began to clear and Jean got up onto his knees to search. He quickly reached around and began to check, and to his surprise, he felt the circular cool metal of the cuffs. However, he didn't want to alert David to their presence just yet, he needed to save them just in case.

Now that he knew the location of a pair of cuffs, Jean felt like he had an edge over David. He pulled himself up in the corner using the ropes, and watched for the other's approach. When there was distance between them, Jean could use one of the corner's defensively, and that's exactly what he planned to do.

While Jean was busy crawling to a corner, Dave could not find a pair of cuffs in the turnbuckle. Well it seemed like his boyfriend is still down, so Dave went to another turnbuckle, and felt the cool metal of handcuffs. He wasn't gonna let that french boy know that. He slammed his fist against the padded turnbuckle in what looked like a burst of anger.
"Damn it!"

Looking over to Jean, he thought he saw a look of realization pass over Jean's face when he searched through the turnbuckle.

'Either he found the other pair, or he's trying to fool me. Better play it safe.' he though before waiting for Jean to get to his feet. Dave gestured with his hand to come on, trying to ignore the soreness in his body.

Jean was slightly relieved that David had not come at him again yet, it had given him time to catch his breath. He watched him make a dramatic move of frustration, apparently not having found cuffs yet. However, Jean wasn't sure whether his outburst was truthful or not. Having eliminated two hidings spots himself, it was again 50/50 whether or not David had found cuffs himself. That only left one remaining turnbuckle when there were supposed to be two sets, which meant that one of them was lying. Jean of course knew he was lying, but there was still the trouble of Dave.

Hauling up to his feet, Jean cleared his throat and stretched his neck around. If he had had this much time to rest, then it was even more so for the boyfriend.

"Having trouble?" Jean asked, slowly walking towards the center of the ring. He had his arms out and ready, fingers wiggling in anticipation.

Dave glared at him, using the frustration of the match to disguise the fact that he found the cuffs.

Dave made his way to Jean in the center of the ring, when he grabbed Jean's arm and executed a hip toss, slamming his boyfriend yet again.

"This can't go on Jean." he said before driving his fist into Jean's gut, "It needs to end."

Running to the nearby ropes, he used them as a springboard ad finally unleashed his Hulkbuster, a powerful right hook straight into Jean, knocking him back down into the mat.
