Dave "Obsidian" Blake's Apartment

"You coming in?" Jean called out from the shower, realizing that the other had been noticeably absent. If he didn't get a move on, Jean was going to be done by the time he came in. Looking around to see what products David had, he settled on just lathering up with the shampoo. Squirting some into his hand, he massaged his fingers through his scalp and let it sit for just a bit before rinsing; he never waited the prescribed time on the bottle.

"Ow ow ow...do you have bodywash? I can't see" Jean asked, his eyes firmly shut thanks to soap sting.

Dave smiled, sneaking into the shower and squirting some body wash onto his hands. Just as Jean was asking for it, Dave placed his hands on the smooth wet skin of Jean's back, rubbing gently around all of his back and shoulders. Reaching over he cupped some water in his hand and doused it over Jean's face, "Make sure you tilt your head back before you rinse off. I learned that the hard way." he chuckled.

David's sudden and unexpected touch surprised Jean, making him jerk forward and almost slip and lose his balance. Laughing to himself, he stood back upright and allowed David to finish rubbing his back and shoulders. Jean let out a deep sigh of relief as David's hands worked along his skin, it felt so nice he could hardly resist.

"Oh really? Gee, I wish I had thought of that sooner, all those years of soap in my eye for nothing" Jean replied sarcastically, turning around so he could give David a stern look.

Dave gave a hurt expression, but couldn't hold his laughter as he pulled Jean in for a quick kiss.

"Unless you WANT me to help you shower from now on, that way i can keep those eyes safe." he chuckled, staring into his eyes with a warm smile.

"That might not be half-bad" Jean mused, giving it a thoughtful look. "But you know, the point of a shower is to get clean...." Jean said with a grin, stepping closer to David. He stared up into his eyes as got closer and their chests met, wet skin against wet skin. He stood up on his toes, his lips getting ever closer to David's but ultimately he abruptly stopped with a new smirk on his face. "So thanks for the bodywash" he teased, stepping back and wiggling the bottle he had grabbed from behind David. Jean turned back around and went to work on washing his front side, letting a yawn escape in the process. He was pretty much satisfied with his cleaning now, and would be ready to get out when he was done enjoying the feel of the water.

"Feeling tired?" Dave asked, placing a hand on Jean's shoulder.

Not that he blamed him, he was feeling pretty tired as well, and his bed was calling his...or more accurately their name.
After a few more moments cleaning himself up, Dave grabbed a towel and stepped out, drying himself off. He grabbed a pair of boxer shorts, slipping them on and waiting for Jean to get out of the shower.

Jean enjoyed the hot shower for just a little longer before turning the faucet off and slipping a towel around his waist. As he was walking back to the front door to get his back, something he saw in the mirror made him stop and do a double-take. Stepping closer, he saw a nice purplish bruise forming on his temple, that, yep, hurt when he touched it. Jean frowned slightly but there was really no helping it, bumps and bruises were an absolute for a wrestler. Still, he had hopes that his face was going to come out of it intact.

After retrieving his bag from the entryway, Jean changed into a black tee shirt and grey boxer-briefs and began to dry off his hair back in the bathroom. It was going to be messy, but he didn't really care about it right now. Walking into the bedroom, Jean yawned yet again as he sat on the edge of the bed and set his phone down on the table beside it.

Sleepwear:

Dave noticed the bruise on Jean's temple and winced, "Yikes, that looks like it hurts. You want some Tylenol or something for the pain?"

He thought for a moment before chuckling, "Or would you rather I kiss it and make it all better?"
He lay on the bed, folding the covers open so Jean could slip in next to him.

"Nothing I cant handle" Jean assured him, slipping underneath the sheets besides David. "Though I'm not opposed to the second idea" he said softly. It was kind of like a you-break-it-you-buy-it policy; you cause a bruise and you're then responsible for healing it. He scooted himself in close to David, snuggling up and putting his head on his chest. He closed his tired eyes but he was still awake, listening to the rhythm of his boyfriends heartbeat.

"Fine by me" he whispered back kissing the dark spot on his boyfriend's head. "Now get some sleep, or else I'm gonna get the chloroform and knock you out myself."

He gave a little chuckle at that, wrapping his arms around Jean as he closed his eyes, listening to the steady breaths of his lover next to him.
