Armando "Army" Rodriguez vs Haruko "Mileena" Akiyama

The would be assassin couldn't tell if she was digging up Army's skin with her gloved hands, but she was certainly scratching hard enough. As she found out right after, though, it wasn't enough. He grabbed the side of her tights and lifted her straight into the air above him. Her world flipped upside down again, although this time not at her own discretion.

Her mind raced for a second. I know, I'll-

But Army didn't give her a chance to escape the suplex, and immediately dropped back. "Ahh!" Mileena crashed to the mat with a loud bang, the weight of both of them crushing against her back. Her back arched up upon impact, nearly bridging in pain. She moaned involuntarily, clutching her tailbone with her right hand. "Fuck..." she muttered breathlessly as she then rolled over and to her frontside while still nursing her back.

Army wasn't a high flyer like Mileena was, and he'd never get the same sort of pop she got when she'd hit him with that crossbody. But that didn't mean he couldn't wow them from time to time, and when he slammed her down with the vertical suplex, he certainly got his fair share of cheers. People knew how to appreciate a classic, after all.

"Mess with the bull..." He gave Mileena a quick pat on the back as he sat up and admired his handiwork - all the sudden, she had a lot less to say. It was refreshing.

It was also a golden opportunity. She was down, hurting, and it didn't look like she'd be getting up for a few moments. He didn't mind fighting her as long as it took, but there wasn't any harm in going for an early win if he saw the chance, and that was exactly what he did.

Army pushed her over, grabbed her leg, and laid perpendicular over her body, going for a pin. "My advice? Stay down."

The referee dropped down beside them and started the count, with the audience chiming in after every count.

"1...!"

Probably the worst part about the suplex was that it left Mileena speechless. She didn't have any breath to snap back at Army which was irritating for someone who taunted as much as she did. She didn't like being quiet, as she knew from experience quiet opponents were usually humbled. And she didn't to project that image of herself to her opponents.

Army wasted no time in trying to claim his victory. Her back may had hurt, but Mileena was far from finished. "I know you like laying atop me..." she whispered to him as the referee began the count.

"Two!"

"But-" and she lifted up her other leg and kicked upward with both of them while turning to break the pinfall. After a moment, Mileena rolled over once more, so she was on all fours. She looked at him from her downed position, their bodies still so close. "You'll have to do better than that if you want to pin me down all night." She laughed twice, daring him to try to hit her harder.

Army wished he could've been surprised when Mileena kicked out of the pinfall, but he really wasn't, truth be told. His life just couidn't be that easy, could it? Worth a shot, at any rate. "All night?" He rolled his eyes and had a quick laugh as they both stood on their fours, face to face, like a lion and a lioness squaring off on the Savannah. "Loca, just give me three seconds. All I'm asking for."

Okay, it would take a lot more than that to keep her down. She was one of those hardcore girls, like Amy - small, sure, but tougher than you'd ever expect a body like that to be. He'd just have to work harder and longer to get the job done. No problem.

Army reached out and grabbed Mileena by the wrist, hauling her up along with him as he rose back to his feet. He kept the hold tight, but not for long - as soon as she was up, he twisted around and sent her off towards the corner with an Irish Whip, making sure to put the bulk of his strength and body into the toss. If she liked it rough, he'd give it to her rough. Repeatedly.

The yellow-eyed woman laughed at the request of just three seconds. That wasn't very flirtatious of him. She was going to have to do something about that. He hauled her up without much in the way of a break, which didn't really amuse her. She preferred the whole ground thing...at least when she was in control. "Come on darling, what ever happened to foreplay?"

Army launched her hard and fast into the corner. At the last second, she spun around, crashing into the turnbuckle with a groan. Even her legs flew up from the impact before settling back down. She slumped against the corner, her arms hanging onto the top rope in apparent dizziness. He wasn't holding anything back against her. Too bad she liked it that way.

Underneath her mask, she was already watching him, waiting to see what he would do next. This time, she was going to be the one catching him off guard and not vice versa. Her mind flooded with what he could do next and what she would do to turn it against him.

Army appreciated the amorous attention, he really did. Mileena was a fine woman, no question, and the outfit only highlighted that fact - hell, he'd even go so far as to say she wore it better than the 'real' Mileena did. No gnarly teeth to screw up the image. But...

"Girlfriend happened." He shrugged as he sent her off to the turnbuckle with a mighty heave, watching her take the impact better than most guys would. "You're a couple months late, sorry."

That was all the quipping she'd get for the moment - Army had her right where he wanted her, cornered and posted up and an easy target. He ducked down, braced himself, then took off towards her at full speed, a two hundred pound Latin freight train careening straight at Mileena, looking to split her clean in half with a spear to the gut.

Mileena heaved breaths in and out in pain while barely balancing in the corner. Her head was down, seemingly exhausted. Of course he had a girlfriend. The best ones always did. But what was the point in telling her that? Men cheated on their girlfriends all the time. The whole idea that he was spoken for was a bit irrelevant in her mind. If anything, it was all the more motivation to try harder so he knew what he was missing out on.

She felt the light rumble and heard the steps close in as Army charged at her. Her head shot up and for a split second she saw just how terrifying the oncoming semi looked. A spear in her position from a guy like Army would almost certainly spell defeat for her. Fortunately for her, the helplessness was all just a feint.

Acrobatically, the woman kicked off the ground and hauled herself up to the top turnbuckle, narrowly avoiding the charging Army. Instead of the hardened core of the masked ninja, he'd find the metal ring post waiting for him.

In Army's mind, he could see it all playing out perfectly. He'd crash into Mileena, she'd go down like a deflated balloon, he'd get the pin, 1...2...3, and it would be all over, save for a little victory dance at the end.

Reality was a lot harsher. And colder. And more painful. And metal. Unforgiving, hard metal.

He had just enough time after Mileena jumped to realize what was about to happen, but not nearly enough time to do a damned thing about it other than wince, prepare himself for impact, and say a quick word. "Shit!"

He went in through the middle and top turnbuckles and crashed into the post with his shoulder, slamming right into it with all the force that had been meant for Mileena. Army let out a pained cry and fell on his back as he nursed his arm, hissing at the pain that seeped all the way to the bone. Nothing broken as far as he could tell, but his right arm wouldn't be much good for the next minute or two. With a girl like Mileena, that could be a very long time.

The temptress giggled while holding the ropes for balance as Army crashed into the ringpost. He collapsed to his back right after in pain which just elicited another laugh. "Next time you want to slay that pole, I'd recommend something like a kick or punch first to weaken it a bit," she sarcastically called down to him from the top of the corner. It was a shame he was too loyal to his girlfriend to fool around. He looked so cute in such pain.

But there wasn't too much time for mocking and fantasizing. She had work to do, and now she knew Army wasn't going to be cutting her any slack despite how beautiful and sexy she thought he thought she was.

Mileena straightened her back, and immediately the crowd realized she was going to the air yet again. Everyone held their breath as she bent her knees and launched herself into the air towards the downed Army's body. She flew forwards while flipping backwards in a Shooting Star Press!

Army was too busy gritting his teeth to answer her immediately, but he managed to get it out soon enough. "Yeah, I'll keep that in mind." He had a particularly loud grunt as he tried to straighten his arm out and realized how bad an idea it was. "Or your head. That might work, too."

He was trying to keep up the brave face, but he knew she had him in a bad spot. Hell, she knew it, too, if the sound of crowd was any indication. Something extremely bad and painful was about to happen to him, and all he could do was lay there with the bullseye on his chest.

He wished he could move. He tried. But he couldn't quite pull it off, so when Mileena came down on him from above like a descending angel of death, all he could do was watch and hoild his breath along with the audience.

The impact was resounding, echoing through the arena and even coming out over the crowd's cheers, as she landed hard right on Army's chest. For such a light girl, she managed to get some real force into the attack, and it was enough to even make Army's body bounce off the canvas, before he crashed back down and furiously grasped his chest. It felt like he'd taken a sexy cannonball, right in the middle.
